internal elections have made me stronger and i am very thankful for this experience.

first club i've been to!
Crashed Artemis' fac outing FACEoff with council last saturday after internal elections. It was a lot of standing around watching performances and cheering and shouting and moshing and running for the dinner queue which was SO LONG (which i cut heh)






Excite for the next few fac outings!
St James Power Station this friday for Ares fac outing, F1 pit building for Athena's the saturday after and Apollo's in school (LOL) some monday after

OH and it is a small world indeed. At least a small Singapore. Ashley and I were talking and it turns out her good friend who is in athena as well is my neighbour and her sister knows my sister bc they go to the same school and are in the same faculty and apparently look alike. Ooooooooohh

never really got round to my yltc post did i.




These are the spartans (: most of them at least.
I feel that this is the first group of people in school that finally made me feel like home. Maybe it's because of the large numbers of JAE people and that everyone is just so damn nice and fun to be around.
And they could possibly help me boost my chinese standard even though they are laughing at me most of the time.
I may not officially be part of OAC anymore, but I'll always be a spartan.


But
there's always that thought that in due time, as I have to spend more time on council and less time with them, and they continually spend more time with each other, I'm going to find myself growing more distant and out of it. I'll always be a spartan, but there would be something different about it. It's something inevitable, and it makes me a little sad ):

But of course, it's not like I'm going to never talk to them again or smth bc we have way more batch spirit than that (:

i love you, spartans

life's been really hectic these days i tend to oversleep my alarm a lot and then freak out worrying if i'll be late for school/early morning meetings. I never finish all my homework and i spend too much time lurking around on facebook/twitter.

But somehow I'm still really enjoying school. (could be the reason why i'm not doing all my work) I love having meals with people. Probably explains why Friday was a particularly good day. Comanches breakfast in the morning, recess with s68 as always (and fried food friday too tori karaage omnomnom) and then 1/5th of 38th dinner at subway. And then followed by lunch with people in 38th/37th again today.

I guess i've figured out my priorities in life. I definitely put friends/my life before studies/work. Whether that is a good thing for these two years, idk but i'm kind of proud of that (: because in the end what pulls you through isn't your work, but the people around you.

so i got into council.
(typing this post while i'm supposed to be doing my geog project which is due tmr damn my priorities)
i don't even know whether i expected it or not, after i pretty much embarassed myself singing/screeching Hi-5 (and doing actions in the wrong direction too), spice girls and even the school song. I never really thought I would have dared to do that, but I guess I have more guts than I expected.
I don't actually feel exceptionally happy i guess because of various reasons, but I think council will grow on me soon enough (:

just to end with a giant thank you to all of yous out there who don't actually know me but believe in me enough to vote me into council.

whatever happens tomorrow, i will be happy.
