This weekend was a pretty good one I guess. Started with Friday where after school Mei Yin, Megan and I(M cubed! =)) went to Taka to shop. Meiyin did most of the shopping, but I bought a charm bracelet which I find very pretty but keeps dropping off because my wrist is too small and I play around with it so much. =) After the shopping I literally rushed home and dashed out again to go ice-skating. It was pretty fun having ice-skating again, it's so stress-free because you're not aiming for any goal and it's totally for leisure, plus you're with friends. So yep. =D

Saturday started really early, with the stair climbing at Toa Payoh, it wasn't exactly fun, but it was after the climbing. After the climbing, Siew Yun, Tis, Rachel and I went to Macs to have breakfast. I ate 2 hashbrowns and a mcflurry. =) Then later Tis and Rachel left, and Siew Yun and I went to the arcade which totally rips off your money. We played this drum game which I totally wasted my money on because I played the normal version and I didn't know there was a beginners one. Then we para para-ed, played basketball and got two free games because somebody forgot to use up the credit, played the red blue green whacking game thing and then the spot the difference. There was this old guy who was always there helping us. I don't know whether to be thankful or scared.

After that went home, watched Sky High for the don't know how manieth time, rested a bit and then went out with my family. We went shopping at Raffles City and I bought a BEAUTIFUL new PINK Roxy wallet. =) I was trying to lay off the pink, but my mum told you, "It's more you", so I gave in and got the pink one. It's gorgeous. I'd post the picture if the pictures were even in this computer.

Yesterday went to Bukit Timah Plaza, stocked up on markers and files and stuff so I can write notes and prepare for EOYs which are like, 3 weeks from now. Not like anybody doesn't know that because every other person seems to be putting that on their blog. Went home and baked brownies and my lovely peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. =))

Today was a bad bad day... It did have its high moments, as everyday does, but overall it was bad.

It all started with Chinese. So basically we calculated our CA2 marks, and after calculation, I'm 2 marks away from an A2. It's really annoying for me, even though some people may think that it's really good already. I already missed the A during CA1 by just a few points like that, and now, again. What's more is that the component which has the biggest percentage HAS to be the one that I FAILED. If not, I could have totally gotten an A2.

Next, MATHS. We had to do this quiz thing, and I actually KNEW how to do every single question and I could honestly have gotten full marks but nooo, I'm careless. I forgot to square the thing, I forget to square root the next and that really annoys me. I could have done so WELL.

Whatsmore, with Teachers Day next week, we started giving out the invitataions, we pretty much finished off all the invitations, but it makes me damn worried to think that I forgot to invite a teacher. If that's the case, they wouldn't be able to ______. Also, we completely forgot about a few teachers who aren't officially teachers, but they've been around for awhile. So I feel even worse.

So because of all of the above, I was damn sad during training and it totally affected my performance. But it's partially due to my fitness going down because of me falling sick. Urgh.

I apologise to all SCBT people at training if I was really emo-ish, and unresponsive and unlike myself. I could have enjoyed myself if I wanted, but I just didn't feel good enough to be able to be happy, or at least pretend.

Oh crap. This is becoming an emo post. I'd better stop with that.

So the high notes of the day: BHANGRA DANCING during PE and CHEERING ON FENG TIAN WEI during recess.

Bhangra dancing in class is so much fun. The dance is totally complete complete and the class is really cooperating. I really really think GY is going to win. We SHOULD totally win anyway. Yep yep, so after PE was recess and I went to the canteen and started watching the table tennis match. Feng Tian Wei vs this Chinese girl from NETHERLANDS. By the time we got there, FTW (so cute right? Feng Tian Wei, FTW!) had already won, but they were playing one more set. There was another teacher there and some other students. But thanks to the GY spirit, we started cheering like crazy for her, and we were like, DAMN when she didn't get the point. It was ultra fun and after FTW won, we were 3 cheered FTW. Oh yeah, Sardine and Ami think FTW is hot. That is SO wrong.

Today's 20082008. Quite cool huhs?

The day's been pretty boring. Had training yesterday at Hougang, I can't stand that it's so far away, but YAY to Chevelle and Mom for sending me nearer to my house so I don't have to take a one hour plus bus ride home, even though it does still take close to that time to get home, it is a lot more fun to have people to talk to. My muscles ache now. Beat a pair of guys yesterday too. I really didn't expect it, but then again, maybe it's because we were playing with like, handicap of half the amount of points. So yeah. Still cool.

Stayed back today for teachers' day stuff. I think the invitation card turned out quite nicely, and I'm not only saying that because I designed it. It's like, glossy. Coolios. It was really crazy when we were trying to give them out to teachers, because they liked, come in bunches, and a lot of the time we didn't know the teacher's name, so we don't know how we're going to not miss anybody out. And the invite is like, a ticket to admission. So if a teacher doesn't have it... Oh boy.

I'm quite proud of myself, I wrote geog notes. It's only one chapter. But it's a start. I should try to do one chapter a day or something. EOYs in 6 weeks, like 2 or 3 weeks after September holidays. It's a scary thought.

Yep, still super busy. You can sort of tell from my not so consistent and daily blogging. Last Saturday went to Mei Yin's house. It was AWESOME fun, as usual. Plus we were pretty productive. =D We had Macs for dinner and we were cam whoring and stuff. And doing work. =D Yep yep, I'll just add pictures.

Teachers day is next friday, I am looking forward to it, but at the same time not really. I mean, all that hard work i put into helping organise it, it will pay off, apparently. ACES day is exciting too. Our class bhangra dance rules the world. Plus the class is being very good and coming for practices. YAY 2GY! Plus, yesterday's san da bai gu jing thing went well I guess, it had to, because GY got first! I actually didn't think we were the best, but WTH! AWESOMEEEE! Love GY more.

Ok, so firstly, my blog's 400th post! =) After 4 years, FINALLY. Woots. Since p4, I read through some of my posts from then, and it was so inconsistent and there were some really immature ones. It's nice to see that I never changed my blog's URL after so many years. Some people just keep changing and changing( (if that's you, no offence!).

Singapore won its FIRST medal since INDEPENDANCE during Olympics jsut now. Super cool girl called Feng Tianwei I should think. She was damn pro. The South Korean girl who played against her, Park something something, her defence was WHOAAAA. really WHOAAAAA. Yep, but Singapore TRIUMPHED. Probably going against China next, never mind if we don't we, IT'S A FRIGGIN MEDAL!

So lastly, just finished watching the Women's all-round finals thing. Nastia Luikin is super awesome, and not only because she was wearing a PINK outfit. Her landings were super cool. Like solid as a rock. I think women's gymnastics is nicer to watch then men's. Probably because girls look more, graceful doing it. The women's one is more artistic and pretty, while the men's one is more like, HUH! HUH! Muscle muscle yeah. The girls have way less to do anyway, no rings, not one bar one, no pommel horse thing. Still good. NASTIA LUIKIN IS STILL COOL.

I missed Mt Kinabalu Bukit Timah Hill climbing today, but I stayed back to help with our class' ACES day dance. I think it rocks. NIVE, RIKA, FAEQA AND SWAP rocks like shizorsss! We're going to OWN aces day I tell you! OWNNN! As long as the class cooperates and learns and is enthu.

I just watched this guy doing the high bar, and he couldn't get a grip (on the bar) and fell off. Then they cut this shot to the Japanese guy who had made a mistake earlier and slipped from the two ring thing and he was SMILING. It's probably because he was thinking that he wasn't alone, but seriously dude! DON'T SMILE. It looks like you're a - I can't think of the word right now but it has something to do with enjoying other people's losses and pains and whatever -. Other than that, I like the Jap guys, they're kind of cute. =D

I think other than badminton, Gym is the most fascinating one ot watch. It's so darn COOL! All the spinning and jumping and the drama when someone makes a mistake. BULGING MUSCLES. It's very very scary!

Hais, I could be there now, but nooo, stupid cold. Sick YET again. What am I going to do if I keep going at this rate? I will be really screwed if I end up missing any of the EOYs.

Tuesdays ice skting was okay I guess... He recognised me and pei wei, and it was quite funny. Because the other coaches were giving instructions and then he suddenly saw us and pointed at us, which made everybody else turn. A lot of the time was spent teaching other people how to skate, and laughing at Cyn. I was lacking tissues so my nose was super messed upand I borrowed Cyn's jacket. I ate like 3 packets of mamee and then I bought muachee. I was super duper uber tired on the bus, and Julia and I kind of made a mess by spilling all our muachee peanuts on the bus. I felt so guilty!

I went home, watched Be Kind Rewind, which didn't appeal to me that much I guess, and then I ate dinner and crashed. I had this very very slight fever and all, but I'm kind of fine, just feel very dead. Gah. I need to practice for the chinese thing on monday so even though i have two day mc, I'm so going to need to go to school tomorrow.

The wind outside is going crazy. It's almost definite that it's going to rain. Ooh, just heard thunder. Is it going to RAIN during the national day parade? I can't remember ever seeing that. It'll literally be raining on the parade... That's just sad. At least it'll add to the water element of the floating platform.

Watching MTV Asia Awards now. ONEREPUBLIC WOOTS. CLICKFIVE WOOTS. And now my half brother just walked in making noise. Shucks.

I'm sitting here in front of the computer now, with PEI LI's Breaking dawn in front of me (I love you! =)), and I am totally bored. I don't think I've flipped the page for at least half an hour.

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY by the way. I'm probably going to be able to hear the fireworks later, but not be able to see a thing. I used to be able to see it every single year from the National Stadium with a perfect, unblocked view. Times have really changed, huh?

Going to buy my own copy of breaking dawn later, if there's any stock in the Parkway Borders. If not maybe I'll just settle for Eclipse, since I don't have that yet. Or Twilight. I don't know.

Watched the women's weightlifting in the morning for OLYMPICS. It's freaking scary. The MUSCLES. One woman from China can freaking lift 93kg. That's probably not a lot compared to guys I guess, but WTH. I watched some gymnastics too, the guys subdivision or something. DAMN FREAKY TOO. The vault thing, and the high bar and the floor. Scary sugar. Then I watched this handball, I didn't even know there was such a sport. Women's one, and I think it's really hard to defend the goal. The goal is so big, and yet the ball is so small. The goalie can only be so big too. Romania was totally ruling Kazakhstan.

So i shall now end this post because I'm running out of things to say.

National day celebrations today! They were ULTRA fun! Marching in the morning, I THINK WE ROCKED. SCPB LOVES! =) Like, we were standing in contingent, then suddenly one photographer came and we all didn't care about our positions and went to join the picture. Hahahaa. After marching we watched all the performances and stuff, then went singing. There were no bubbles this year! =(

After the normal national day stuff, we all went up to the hall to watch the Havard Din & Tonics. They are this acapella group and they were SUPER cool, but they came really late. So while waiting for them, we did a lot of random things. Like sing, the BAZOOKA ZOOKA BUBBLEGUM song, which lots of people didn't get.

After the performance we had TDC rehearsal, and then later we took our jump shots. Which was super fun, but there were so many failed shots. Shhh... So Zah and I walked around school together, trying to find Zay's bag. We purposely did so that we could keep going by the Gardenia room to see the Havard guys, because they're so CUTEE!! So Zah and I finally got a picture with two of the guys! Like, one guy went to toilet, the chinese looking one, when he came back I asked him for photo, and he was like, "Do you want me to get some other guys too?" and he went and got one more guy. It was AWESOME!

After Zay finally got her bag, Zah and I went to Macs at serene, met Sherri, ate ate, talked talked, Zah embarrassed herself. Then Sherri left, and we went to Island. Talked more. This is becoming a weekly thing, not good for my stomach. I'm going to get fat!!

2/12 HAVARD DIN & TONICS ACAPELLA GUYS!! AHH! =DDDDD

Yesterday ran 10K with Tis. I attempted to drink one cup of water throughout the whole thing, and most of it ended up on the ground. I gave up on trying to drink water after that. Tis' dad's really cute. =) He borrowed a bicycle and would try to take pictures of us on the way. We took about one hour to finish it and then we saw VEN and OLD MAN there.

Went home and crashed for four hours afterwards.

This morning I went to school at about 6.15 so that Shen-nen, Esther and I could change and all and then got to MGS by bus. That plan was completely ruined. Firstly, we were so happily going to school in the morning, that when we got there, THEN we realised that the GO was closed, and there was no other key-holding prefect to help us open the door. So we sat outside the GO, waiting for one of the staff to come, and we were talking about who in the PB has the key. So we were saying Angie, Bala, and how Bala might come late even though there's training, and then suddenly Bala appeared. Saved our little lives! So we changed and all, I look weird without the blazer on. And then We tried to figure out how to tie a tie. I never figured out, and neither did See-toh. But Shen-nen sort of did. Quite pro.

So we took a cab to MGS because we were going to be late. We saw some other schools there, and they were as lost as we were and we would randomly follow people, and then one of them said they didn't know where they were going either. Finally this teacher told us. So, it was more like a service, rather than an investiture like SC's.

So after the ceremony, we went for the reception and all, then we were given a tour. By the head and vice-head. We are so cool. Their school is quite nice really. The MGS girls were nice. =)

Went back to school at about 10.30, my shoes killed my feet. We spent recess changing and eating pringles. We locked Zah in the PB room where she just slept. I might as well not have gone for school because after recess was computer studies, which was a complete waste of time, and after that was history where we sort of went through chapter 8 and apparently we're starting on 9 next week. Hais.

GIB was awesome fun! Though the number of hours I slept really made me want to crash on the second day, I was nearly falling asleep when people were talking, even though I usually wouldn't.

So so, we left halfway during Home econs on Friday and on the bus we camwhored like nuts. Like nuts. We were singing at the top of our lungs and all sorts of stuff. =) It was fun!

I was in LEGO, the ORANGE group, which consisted of Weiwei, Nicole, Jingles, Wai Lam, Aishah, Huijun, Meiyin, Shanice, Vicky, Kiran and ME! =) My roomies where See-toh and Deborah.

We went to eat lunch when we reached Johor and it was this seafood place so I couldn't eat all the prawns and whatever. The queue for the bathroom was SUPER long. Imagine, 88 people long. Camwhored more on the way to the hotel.

We had some briefing, and then all the prefects changed in the auditorium together into our respective group-coloured shirts. I hid behind the visualiser with jingles after a while. We went to the lawn court where it was burning hot, and we played lots and lots of games.

We got down and dirty, and then dirtily clean. We got whacked by sparkler holders, plastic hammers and stuff. We acted like apes and jungle people. Then after all that screaming and all, we were FINALLY given our room key. We had about 20 minutes for 3 GIRLS to bathe, so since the toilet had one shower and one bathtub, we both bathed at the same time and See-toh bathed later.

We went for dinner at this nice restaurant where the food was better than lunch and we camwhored even more. Like, LOADS LOADS LOADS. Super fun. =) When we went back we played some more games like the human chair and this Keep walking Stop talking or something like that. Then we had this reflection thing in the Auditorium which was actually very nice I think. I found this cosy little fort place and then we would all close our eyes in the dark and things like that. We sang a song later and we pigged out on food and stuff. Finally we went back to our rooms.

The three of us watched TV for a while, this weird forever long ad about a swivel sweeper, which is like a vacuum that is lighter than usual and whatever other stuff. We went to sleep at 1, which was considered very early. We didn't go party. =( But it's a good thing, I so totally needed my sleep.

Next morning woke up at 5.30, washed up and stuff then we went to the lawn court, met people along the way, when we reached there there was no one. The sky was so full of stars, it was so BEAUTIFUL. You could see the Orion very clearly, but prior to that I had no idea what the Orion was. =) We waited like, half an hour or something, and SO many people were late. Even the trainers. Finally we did some warmup stuff. Then we played 3 legged soccer. I was with Bala, and she kicked the ball like, off the ground, which was quite scary. We would tug our middle legs and our shoe laces would pull and our feet would hurt. Then we played ultimate frisbee, but I never really touched the frisbee.

We went for breakfast, which was good. Then we had this talk thing about being in the prefectorial board. The positions of the exco members were revealed. JOYSY isn't my comm head anymore!!! =( This is the part where I very nearly fell asleep. Whenever we were given breaks I would put my head down and try to get some sleep. After that we went back to our rooms to pack, and while Esther, me and Deborah were watching Hannah Montana on Kids Central, people would start coming in suddenly. Like at first Samy and Umi came in, then Mariann came over. Quite cool. Then we all trouped over to the lobby and checked out.

We went for lunch at a seafood restaurant and we took a group photo. During the lunch, Aishah would take very unglam photos of all of us eating! She got one of me eating chicken. DAMMNNN.

After that was SHOPPING at Jusco. Chris, Tis, Sha, Ruth, Ann and don't know who else made plans to walk around together. But at the first shop we went to, Chris and I were walking around together and when we were going out, we found that they had left already. So the two of us walked around together, sometimes with Nat and Mei yin, (window) shopping at all the nice shops like Esprit and Mng. We finally found Tisa, Sha, Zah and Ann and Chris and I got Baskin Robbins and we sat down and played Truth or No dare. Then we wanted to try taking neoprints, but it's quite expensive so we went walking around again.We went into reject shop and while we were walking, Tisa saw a jacket, and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!! So awesome beautiful. So i got it. =) It's reversible!

Sha bought a Chelsea FC water bottle while Tis and I went to go get our grub for the bus ride back.

At the customs, I asked Sha and Tis how to say good afternoon in Malay, which is Selamat Petang so they I could say it to the customs officer guy and sound cool. Then, when I went up there and said that, he spoke to me in Malay. I was completely CLUELESS and I just stood there, smiling and nodding my head pretending to understand. But I think he could tell I wasn't getting a thing. Chris and I slept a little on the bus, we didn't sing much because the choir girls were singing choir songs, which we all can't sing.

We got back to school, we had a debrief and we were given our new probation badges and a card thing. =) There was a video montage and stuff which was nice. =) The bunch of sec 2's gave Hannah and Sharmaine and big hug after the whole thing.

I can't wait for GIB during december holidays, I just hope it's not like the one we had last year.
