A simple thank you, good job, keep it up, a smile, a pat on the back.
Can there ever be too much?
Encouragement gives people motivation to keep going and to improve. It helps us feel appreciated, loved, happy.
Is it wrong to encourage people for a small thing they have done, no matter how small? At least it is something. It could help to give someone that little push forward that they need to make that something grow and become something a lot greater.

i like beaches.
The sand can be annoying as hell when you want to leave and it just won't get off your feet and you end up having sand stuck in your shoe, and the fact that if there's a tsunami you'd be the first to go, but beaches are beautiful (: Especially empty beaches like the Sembawang beach up there, where it's small and highly unpopulated (if that is even a word). It's so peaceful and it's such a perfect setting for movies ^^ I mean, you see a beach like that and you think of all the countless films where there are friends playing in the water/building sandcastles or couples strolling along the beach.
It's a pity I don't live anywhere near a coast in Singapore, it'd be fun to go to the beach often and just sit and stare, thinking and reflecting.


and the only reason i talk about that is because of the sleepover on monday at Sha's house (:
my first real sleepover at someone else's house since... P5. Such FUNZ. And i think going for sleepovers are good bc it makes me miss home just a little bit (absence makes the heart grow fonder~)
We made cynny a twitter (@cynmonky) which she sadly has yet to use, photoboothed like crazy, skyped ruth, watched 10 things I hate about you, facebook creeped like ninjas, ate lots of pancakes and took plenty of walks round the housing estate and to Sembawang beach. Sembawang is so ulu that it becomes really peaceful. It's nice to stay in, but horrible for travelling (it's practically in Malaysia!!)

i shall awkwardly end this post now.

and i can't really rate the Korean version cos i've never watched the whole thing but i would say... 3.5/5? bc i do see some cute scenes in this version (even though i think most of it can't match up to the jap one)

30. A recommendation to watch/read boys over flowers and why
BC it's one of the most epic jdramas of all time apart from like gokusen, 1 litre of tears, etc.,etc.
Who doesn't love a love story, and one that has really good (looking) actors/actresses? (that has a happy ending that will leave you like this: (': )

it finally feels as if secondary school is completely over.
can't say i'm pleased with my results, i wanted to start crying the moment i realised my name wasn't going to appear on the screen, which had been my aim after seeing last year's results
if i weren't aiming for something i guess i wouldn't have felt that way, and my combined humanities score was really unexpected, but then all those feelings die down after half an hour and i realised that i really am blessed and that i shouldn't be too greedy.
for now, all i can do is appeal and pray hard. but if it doesn't work out, the world isn't over and i am going to show them how stupid they are for not taking me

22. A scene that made you laugh the hardest

all of domyouji's baka moments ): it's hard to choose one!
There isn't actually a particular scene that I would really laugh my head of, i mean, i don't actually think it's possible to laugh for a whole scene from beginning to end. Usually it's just moments (which i have had a lot of watching hyd)

AH SO MANY! OH I think I will say it's the scene in the final episode of season 2 when domyouji saved makino from the blizzard even though he still couldn't remember who she was(zomg this sound so much less cool when written) and they were in the shelter and they kind of re-enacted the elevator scene which made him remember who she was. SO SWEET :,)

Oh shoot this is really hard.
I guess it would have to be Tsubaki in the way that she didn't dare to go against her mother and do what she really wanted and that she's always trying to help other people, well techincally only Domyouji and Makino but the idea is there.

Well this has got to be one of the easiest questions to answer! Cannot stop crying at this scene no matter how many times i watch it it's so beautiful :,)


it's pretty bad quality but the best i could find. I actually started crying earlier than that, at the part when she's in the car and she's reading the letter domyouji wrote for her.
It's SO SWEET and i know to some people it may seem really cheesy but i don't think they overdid it and the two of them go so well with each other T.T
and even so the ending is quite bittersweet bc domyouji has to leave anyway ):

There were some weird shigeru moments like went she took of her clothes in front of domyouji i was like SEE NO EVIL!! and she got quite annoying sometimes even though she left and was ok at the end, because that's how most characters are
