This is just this thing that McFly did in Popworld. It's damn weird. But damn funny. I always laugh my head off when watching it. It's very... Spastic.

Tuesday was the first competition. We played against CHIJ Toa Payoh. I was playing 1st doubles with Joellyn. I can't really remember the singles order but I do know that Kai Yin and Pei Fen were second doubles. :D We won 5-0. Dah!! :D For my doubles, we won 15-2, 15-6.

I line judged the Queenstown(at least I think that's what it is. The back of their shirt says Quest) vs. Fairfield Methodist I think... They didn't really take the match seriously... The Queenstown girls were always smiling and laughing... Before the match started, the Queenstown girl turned behind to her teammates and was like,"Kan wo da la!" I was thinking, if they don't want to watch you play, don't force them. Sheesh. I have this way of supporting the team that wins the first set so that I can go back to OUR game. Heh.

The other match was today. It was Fairfield vs SC. We won 5-0. Duh... :) I played second doubles with Joellyn, Pei Fen and Kai Yin played first doubles, Siew Yun was second singles, Caryl was first singles and Smily was third singles. :D Caryl won 11-0, 11-0, Pei Fen and Kai Yin won 15-2, 15-8, Siew Yun won 11-0,11-0, Joellyn and I won 15-0, 15-0 and Smily won 11-0, 11-0. Too bad Pei Fen and Kai Yin didn't get the perfect score. But what does it matter? We won!

It's kind of funny, because I experienced Dejavu when playing doubles. I would serve low, the Fairfield girl would lift, Joellyn would smash, we would win a point. Whenever I was standing on the left side of the court and served high, I would always serve out!! Really qutie irritating.

I line judged the Queenstown vs Cedar match. The Cedar girls are quite good so I've got to watch out for that. I didn't get much line-judging over there. Quite boring. I also helped Ms Beh umpire the Queenstown vs Cedar 3rd singles match. It was quite weird. At the end of the match, the girls shook my hand too... SHIT. That reminds me. I didn't shake the umpires hand!! GAHHH!!

A very optimistic song, a very nice song, I like the part when Tom plays one part of the song... Don't know how to explain, but you MIGHT get it. :D The video is SO cute lah. Especially the "You're not alone" part. But the timing's a bit off. Poor Dougie... Tom nudged him off the building!!

Stupid blogger. Didn't post my other one! GAH!! Now I have to type it all over again!! Anyway, I don't go on very often now, sadly. I'm doing my homework as I'm typing this. And talking to people, and listening to music. But that's not the point.

Yesterday(or was it Wednesday?), after recess. we were supposed to have General Science. At like, 11.15am, Mr Sim still hadn't come so we thought we had to go to the lab. So we gathered everybody outside the classroom and headed to the lab. When we got to the lab we usually went to, passed by it, and then quickly stopped and started whispering,"There are people inside!" So we decided to try our luck with the other science labs. Didn't help. So finally we decided to go back to class. On our way to class, we saw Mr Sim across the corridor, so in order to be punctual, I shouted,"RUN!" And started running. There weren't many of us walking in a group, like half the class was probably somewhere on the second level still. Anyway, I ran and got there in time. I wasn't sure if the others ran but they got back before Mr Sim. Them as in those who were actually on the first level. Haha... Anyway, when Cynthia came in, she was like,"Miranda, you lost your head." I thought she was referring to me shouting "RUN!" But when I turned to face her, she was holding out my skeleton head key chain. Pei Wei, Cynthia and I doubled over laughing.

There was an art of speech class yesterday too. The teacher was OK I guess. Not great, not horrid. We had to stand up straight for the WHOLE lesson. STRAIGHT. It was DARN tiring. Anyway, we were divided into two groups and I was in the same group as Cynthia while PW, Megan and Tiziana were in the other group. We did all these weird little exercises and there was one, where we had to imagine that the room was on fire, and that we had to call to our mother, who was on the third floor, to come save us. We had to cup our hands around our mouth, put one leg forward and yell,"Ma ma! Kuai Lai Ya!!" My group didn't do to well at first, because we weren't cupping our mouths or anything. After a few tries we finally did it. The other group did well the first try, so Poo them.

Competition starts next week! Ahh! I'm going to have to miss lessons! I don't know whether I should be happy or sad. Probably sort of sad I guess. I mean, I don't want to fall behind. Even more. I have this gut feeling I'm sort of behind my class since like, I have the second lowest aggregate score. The lowest in my class is 254 but even PW is doing better than me! Well, she always does better than me. But anyway, I don't want to be behind the class... Going to have to mug like mad.

Anyway, on Saturday I went up the DHL balloon with my sis, my dad, my stepmother and Kevin. I had to miss half my Hannah Montana... :( Anyway, we got there, bought the tickets, and had to wait like half an hour before we could finally get on the balloon. During that half an hour, my sis and I cam-whored and listened to the top 100 countdown encore.

On the balloon, my sis took pictures of the scenery around us, it's really cool and windy up there. The weather was like LA's weather and I LOVE that. :D Anyway, my sis took pictures of our scenery and we cam-whored more. Hahaha... Kevin would never look and Monica when she went, "Kevin, look here!" It was pretty fun and I'm sure I'm not afraid of heights. Oh yeah, the balloon went up like, 40 stories high which is about 150m... :D But it's pretty lousy because we were held by a string so it's like yeah... But we could see EVERYWHERE.

Competition's starting next week and HENG AH! It doesn't clash with the Malacca dates. In fact, it ends the day before we leave! Can you believe our luck? We're in group B and we're going to play against Queenstown(or was it Queensway?), Fairfield, Cedar, CHIJ TP and that's all... I think.

School's been super fun. Math lessons should be called Sabo sessions(Ms Chan called it that!). We were like, self-marking our worksheets and she would call one person, and that person would call another number. So it's like, Tiziana would call 10, and then Cynthia called Megan, and then Megan called PW. PW would probably have called me but PHEW. But then she was like, let me choose a lucky number, and guess what, 22 was! That's me if you couldn't tell. I called 5, intending on getting Tisa but too bad, Ms Chan added. Sniffles.

We had Gym/Dance today and why can't school higher english speaking Gym/Dance teachers?? I mean, the Gym/Dance teacher was speaking in CHINESE, and since our class is like, seriously multi-racial, we had to translate for them, and I was hardly absorbing anything myself! We later did some stretches, and then we went round the gym and did trampolined, springed, hung and balancing beamed.

I have to go for this Swim Certification test thingy and it's quite stupid. I can't do it now, and I have no time for swimming lessons and like, swim certificates are compulsory! So i'm like, oh crap.

I'll try to make this as quick as possible because I've got to go sleep soon. Yay. Anyway, these past few days haven't been that much. Went to the Science Lab today. It was REALLY fun. And I was a total clutz. We were filling up our beakers with water, and I was trying to get the beaker from underneath the hose, and guess waht, being a totally clumsy person, I turned the hose towards the table and "PHOOSH" My pancil box was soaked, the table was wet and my textbook and some of the papers got wet. Great. Other then that, we just played around with the stuff. It was kind of fun. My lab partner is Shi Yuan... Yay. Ms Quah's the best man! She's damn funny and always has these stories to tell us or games to play.

So that's science, I'm starting to hate secondary school math, I can hardly understand a thing. I'm sort of just doing what I think I'm supposed to be doing.

Oh yeah, we had phototaking today which went by really fast. I just went in, tried to make everybody stand according to register number(that didn't work out the way I expected it to) and then we just took our photo. After I took mine, I waited for Eunice which turned out to be really fun because PW, Tiziana, Yan Hong and all were trying to make Megan laugh. We made Megan, Pei Wei, Yan Hong and Tiziana laugh. The phototaking lady shooed us out after we made Tiziana cover her face from laughing.

Before that we had this Edulearn thing, it was pretty boring since it's pretty much like the Elearn website. The guy was giving out MapleStory Cds so that got people interested. Buyt t the questions are really simple and I would have answered them, but I have nothing to do with the MapleStory Cd.

Ok, that's about all i've got to say, I typed this in record time! My hands were flying across the keyboard. Excuse me for any typos I make! I took like, only ten minutes to do this man. Woohoo. Update you more next time!

Yay! New one again! The other one wasn't that great. I've been searching for a better McFly layout you see, and now i've got one! Still McFly, yes it is! But it's MUCH nicer. I love it. You'd better!

PREPARE FOR THE LONGEST POST EVER.

Yesterday we had to go to school for the Sec 1 orientation done by the prefects and it was so darn FUN!! My group was called Medicated Oil(18!). First, the prefects ran around the hall and painted these numbers on to everybody(the group number). Then we went to our group and played Ice Breakers. My leaders were Ling Yu and Chua En(or something like that...). They were really fun, hyper and enthu. My whole group was! Anyway, Ling Yu first gave everybody a bottle of medicated oil, so that we could use it and smell like it.

We first played Whacko and it was better than the one during the other orientation because we sort of knew everybody's names so we weren't that confused. Whenever somebody called Chua En or Ling Yu's name, they would start screaming and trying to back away from the person. After a while, we played Splat. Baically the person in the middle calls out somebody's name, then that somebody squats down and the two people beside that person have to turn around, hold both hands up and shout,"Splat!". The person with the slow reaction would go into the middle. Later, we joined Red Bull and played double whacko. It was really fun!

After the Ice breakers, we watched this video which nobody understood. Then the prefects explained that we were supposed to go to these stations and and follow clues and all. For each clue, we each had to guess the brand of something through the tag line.

Station 1(Pocky)
We went to the Gallery 1 and we had to play that Straw and rubber band game(where you put the straw in your mouth and pass the rubber band), just that we did it with Pocky and Cheezels. We had to wait a while before the other group came and then we battled. I accidentally dropped it while giving it to the next person. Oops. Our group lost that one.

Station 2
We went to the amphitheatre and we had to wait for another 2 groups to finish their game before playing. It looked really freaky!! We were supposed to wear balloons around our legs and then run around and try to burst the other teams balloons. While waiting for our turn, we planned our cheer and it went like this:

So anyway, we went to play the balloon game. Faeqa crushed the balloon I was trying to crush but was too scared too. I didn't really burst anything. I ran away more than anything. I was terrified about my balloon being burst. Our group won that game. Yay!

Station 3
This station is the grossest ever. We had to take of our shoes on the field and then get down on our knees and crawl along this mat with soap, shampoo, and broken eggs carrying a spoon in our mouth with a egg on it. I would NEVER have done it in my life. Oh. My. God. I freaked out first. But I did it anyway. Faeqa was the best at it. She just glided across the whole thing without dropping the egg. I dropped the egg loads of times, our egg never broke. Until the last one(Faeqa went twice), when she got up, the egg dropped and broke on her feet. We lost this one again. We did our cheer again, and then we also gave the game masters a sexy clap. We clap our hands once, then we "whistle" while doind these hand actions. We got bonus points for that! ;)Then, we picked up our shoes and walked across the field, barefooted. We went to the toilet and washed our feet and then I put my shoes on.

We then walked in a straight line and Ling Yu figured out a way to do attendance. She would shout "One!" Then the next person would shout "Two!" All the way till 12. There was one group behind us, so they continued shouting "Thirteen!" It was really funny.

Station 4(FedEx)
We went to the Primary Courtyard and waited for the next group. It was like a relay. We had to run to our group leader, who was holding a pen and a piece of paper, and then we had to sign our names(which nobody really did) and then run back and the next person would do the same. Our group lost that one too... Sad. But we did our cheer again and our sexy clap. That gave us bonus points. The game masters were always very flattered.

Station 5
We had to go to the Canteen. Again, we had to wait for the other group to start and finish. What we were supposed to do, we had to close our eyes and walk on the benches in this maze and get to the end. It didn't actually look that hard, but when it was our turn, it was seriously scary!! We went over our time limit sadly. But we did our cheer again and got a bonus point. But we weren't done yet. We gave yet another sexy clap. Then we formed a circle around our game masters and sang the Barney song. When it came to the "with a great big hug", we would all rush forward and hug the game masters. The game masters were shouting,"Demerit!! Demerit!" But then we ran away.

Station 6(Mentos, I think)
I'm not very sure if this was our next station, but I think so. We went to the Coy pond and half the group(including me) had to dig our hands into this bucket filled with slime and reach for Mentos and throw it into the other bucket which the other half of the group was holding. For our group, we just threw it anyhow, only a few got in. So basically, we lost. We ran to the toilet to wash our hands but they were still a bit greenish yellowish. We did our cheer again, the Barney song and the sexy clap again. It's very effective you know. When we still wanted one more, we would go "Duo yi ge duo yi ge zai duo yi ge!" For those people who don't understand, it's the marigold jelly thing...

Station 7
We went back to the track and we had to play tug-of-war against Nike. It was really funny and easy. We won 2 out of 2 games! First round, Ling Yu and Chua En helped us. We won really fast, and caused Nike to all fall down. So the next turn, Chua En stepped out and the Nike leader went to help her team. But we still won really easily, and caused them all to fall down again! Then we had to choose a forfeit for Nike. Ling Yu decided that we make them walk around the track and shout,"We love Medicated Oil!" When we couldn't hear them, we would shout,"WE CAN'T HEAR YOU!!" But we also cheered them on. When they finished we gave them a macho clap. It's basically one clap and then do a macho pose. We also gave them three cheers. We then did our cheer for the game masters, did the sexy clap, and as usual try to get more stickers.

Station 8(Oxy5)
What we had to do was put a balloon in between our head and our partners and move. First I was partnering Rachel H. and Faeqa was partnering this really tall girl(she's really nice but I never got round to getting her name!). But then the tall girl had to bend really low in order to but the balloon between their two heads. So I partnered her instead and Faeqa partnered Rachel H. Our group won by three people I think. When the tall girl and I reached the end and Melissa(one of the game masters) was trying to get our balloon from between our foreheads, we dropped it and it burst. We did our Barney song and sexy clap and cheer again. Yay! We had SO much fun doing it everytime.

While walking to our next station, we started singing this song. The Everywhere we go song?? We just copy what the leader says. So it goes like this(without the repeating)

Station 9
We had to play Poison Ball for this station. But first we did our cheer. We were going against Pocky. They're cheer was sort of cute, but the team wasn't really doing it. It went like,"P-O-C-K YYYYY!" Then did ours again and we got 3 stickers for that! Yay! Then we played Poison Ball. I think I'm not bad at it. First round, Medicated Oil went into the circle. Three people were left at the end. Round 2, Pocky went in and at the end of the round, nobody was left! Yahoo!! But we only got one more sticker because we got three at the beginning. We did the sexy clap and the Barney song again. And the Marigold Jelly song.

We did the "Everywhere We Go" Song again. Just that this time, they accidentally switched the "Who we are, Where we're from" part. But it was still very fun. A prefect just joined our group even though she wasn't part of it.

Station 10
That was our official last station. We had to wait for another group to come before we started playing. The prefects were dumping buckets of water onto each other. Finally Marigold came and we played against them. We had to hold open these mats and collect water that was being thrown from the Second Level of the sports complex. They threw water balloons and buckets of water. I think our group won. Later, the prefects tried to dump water onto Ling Yu. The game masters gave us the bucket and were like,"If you dump it on Ling Yu we'll give you more stickers". But we didn't want to. Because it's evil. So what we did was sneak up behind the two game masters and dumped the water on them instead! But we got some on Ling Yu too. Oops. We did the Barney song and our cheer and we got like, one bonus sticker so we did the Marigold Jelly song, but they still wouldn't give it to us. Sniff.

Last Station
We took forever to find it! By then we were all really exhausted so our enthusiasm was sort of dying out, even though Ling Yu and Chua En's weren't. We had to go all the way to level four and then we walked around the place, with Mona's group, trying to find the antenae. Finally we found it and went back to the hall.

We were exhausted! I drank half my bottle of water at one shot. We had 34 stickers and we weren't first. Sniff. We sat in a circle and ate some of the gummies they gave us and then we decided to go play Blow Wind Blow with another group. But then we changed our mind and modified our cheer. Now it went,

After that we had to go do our reflection, and according to Ling Yu, we were all giving her the "sian" look. We all were really dead. Later every group had to do a cheer. We were second and did ours. Just that at the end, after blowing the kiss, we opened our bottles, put on some of the oil and then went "I feel good! Nanananana"

Our group didn't win first for stickers, sadly. We came in third. Tiger beer won I think. But we still got these apple yupi rings. I met Eunice halfway while walking to the Bus Stop again.

Well, I never actually saw the snake myself but apparently it's black. This morning, just before our Geography, Mrs Lee told us that there was a snake in our classroom, thinking that everybody knew already. But it was the total opposite. The class was like, WHAT??? Snake in our classroom?? But we didn't do anything really. We just took our Geography stuff and went for our lesson at Gallery 1.

After Geography, Ms Ku told us to go to our classroom to collect our stuff as we were going to the Geography Room today for classes since there was a snake in the classroom. The Geography Room is air-conditioned! Yay! We lugged our stuff over to the Geography Room and the next teacher in the class was Ms Tan. She's not our General Science teacher. She was just there for that day because our actual General teacher hadn't come in yet(as in, hasn't started working yet). Ms Tan is REALLY nice, and turns out, she's Ze Lei(my badminton senior/vice-head prefect) older sister. Have I mentioned she really nice?!?!

After break, we had our History lesson. Our teacher is Ms Cheong and she's quite nice too. She's Ms Tan's age. We just talked first, like, what she expected of us and then we had to introduce ourselves, she introduced herself then we played one round of hangman! Yay. Then after that we played Pictionary. The back group's drawer was Tisa and the front group's was Carolyn. At first the Front group led 2-0. But eventually we caught up and we won 3-2! Yay!! After that we went for Recess.

Didn't do much during recess, YY wanted to see the snake, but it wasn't there, she wanted to have some air-con, so she went into the classroom. Later, when Pei Wei and I went into the classroom, YY ran outside the room and looked through the window and shouted,"COCO!" Megan, Pei Wei, Manizah and I played a few rounds of Hangman.

Later Mrs Goh came and brought us to the Music Room for our music lesson. She first explained to us what we were going to do and what we have to prepare for music class. Then she gave us handouts of the School Song and National Anthem, then we had to sing it. It was quite funny actually. Because she'd try to correct our mistakes and would say something funny to make us all laugh.

After music, when we got to level one, I forgot we were in the Geography Room so I headed to our classroom. Then I realised nobody else was going when I remembered. Haha! So loser. Anyway, we met our Maths teacher, Ms Chan's her name. We did the normal introduce ourselves, she introduce us to her. Then we had to make our own class rules and OMG!! We're going to kill ourselves. Haha... I didn't suggest anything... When we were supposed to think of a punishment for not following the rules, I suggested to Megan that we make the person do the chicken dance in front of the class.

Finally, we settled on some stuff and we were let off for the day. Yay!

So as you can see, I survived the first day of school. And the second. Not bad eh? What a feat!! Anyway, I'm in 1GY and there are only 8 SC primary girls! Ah!!! But it's ok. Our form teacher is Mrs Charissa Tan and our co-op teacher is Mrs Lee. Thank goodness, Pei Wei, Megan and Carolyn are in the same class! So I'm not alone. :D

When we went to class, we basically just handed up forms and did all these administrative stuff. After that, we had a break then we met our peer leaders and we went to the sports complex and played Double Whacko, Dog and Bone and this stand on the newspaper thing. It was quite fun I guess. I met people! Yay. After that, we had our recess. Most people went back to class to get their wallets and all but the classes were locked! So we had to wait outside until a prefect came and opened the door. I met up with the usual group from last year and we just ate and stuff. Like usual.

Then after recess we went to the lecture theatre to have this CCA briefing or something like that. We met this PE teacher, can't remember his name. I think it's Mr Ang or something. Well anyway, he brifed us on the CCA's. Then the uniformed groups each gave us presentations to try to convince us to join NCC, Red Cross or Girl guides. After that we had another break, and then we went to the Khoo Auditorium to watch the performing arts try to convince us to join their CCA. It's all pretty useless to me because i'm already joining badminton. After that we were released to go home.

Today it was raining in the morning so we had to go to our classroom. I talked to Tisa until the teacher came. Then we did more administrative stuff and we had to like, assign people to comitees and get reps and all. Yay. Now I'm class rep. Which should be fun because that brings me one step closer to being nominated to become prefect and hopefully I do become one because I had so much fun being one in Primary School. Enough blubbering, need to get on.

After that, we had our break. Then we went to the lecture theatre and this time, we had this CIP/counselling briefing and the school rules and discipline system talk thingy. We were let off late for recess. The class room was locked again, so I just bought food first. Then when the class room opened I went to drink water.

After recess we went to the Lecture Theatre again and the Chinese Drama, Chess, Swimming(competitive and synchronised), debate and IT tried to get us to join their CCA. One of the groups gave everybody M&Ms.

After that thingy, we had lunch, JY and I went to the library again and I saw my sis there. We just walked around doing nothing. Don't even know why we go in the first place. Haha.

After lunch we assembled in the amphitheatre and then our peer leaders brought us around school to view the different CCAs. We saw drama, tennis, badminton, netball, basketball, NCC, Red Cross, Girl Guides, bowling, swimming, IT club, art club, library, gym and a few more... I think. Our peer leaders are quite nice, most of the people trying to convince us to join were friendly(I mean, DUH!).

After all that, we went back to class and Sydney(the other class rep) and I tried to like, do the phone relay system thing and the seating plan thing.. I listened to my Ipod on the way to the bus stop and on the bus. I met Eunice on the way, she goes to the same bus stop, but different bus. Nothing new about that really.

So yeah... Getting to the library is confusing. There is only ONE staircase that leads to it. JY and I wound up at a door which led to the roof the first time. But now i've figured it out, not going to get lost anymore! Yay! So anyway, I have this feeling i'm gonna like my class. I've met quite a few people already. And it's only the second day of school. Lessons start tomorrow, I hope I don't suck at any subject!

Well, my title says it all. It's a New Year, a new school(well, not that new) and a new principal too. Well, yesterday(and a bit of today), I went to this New Year party hosted by my neighbour/mother's good friend/english tuition teacher. Before heading to Sentosa, we had to go pick Monica up from Orchard since she went out in the afternoon with her blogskinners. My mum scolded her because she was supposed to be home by 5.30 but when we went to pick her up, it was 7pm and her movie still hadn't ended.

Anyway, we reached the Tourism Academy and parked our car. Then we helped put up decorations and prepare for the party. At first the party was like, seriously boring. We just ate, and stoned, talked to my sisters... Oh yeah, my mum's friend's, cousin-in-law was an ex-DJ so he was like, playing the music for us. It was cool man! After quite a while, like, 10pm, Monica and I went into the room and we started dancing. Aunty Su(the hostess) came in and joined us, and then one of her friends or relative also joined us. We tried to make this 10 year old girl join but she wouldn't.

After dancing till 11.10, we went outside and watched everybody else play taboo. Girl's on one side, men on the other. It was HILARIOUS. Whenever it was the men's turn, the men would make all these silly answers. They'd just guess anyhow. I had my turn too, I wasn't horrible or anything. It was very fun. Whenever it was our turn, the men would just press the beeper to annoy us. It was just horribly funny.

After playing for like, half an hour, Aunty Su made us pack up and said that we had to go dance for half an hour straight. So everybody piled into the room to start dancing. The men were going mad. It's SOO funny. It was REALLy fun because everybody was just acting crazy and dancing around the room. Disco baby! Later Aunty Su passed out these party stuff. I got a hairband with these two stuff sticking out on top. Everybody who got it was wearing it. It was so funny. Then the boy's(Aunty Su's son, nephews) were using party poppers, there were clappers... So people were wearing masks, crowns, hairband with weird stuff sticking out of it. EVERYBODY was dancing. It's not very often this happens. At first people were shying away, but eventually, everybody had fun. Then later we counted down to New Year, then there was a lot of HAPPY NEW YEAR!'s.

We tried to see if we could see the fireworks. We didn't see much though. We only saw these little sparkles in the sky from Vivocity and we saw little sparkles from Siloso beach. But it was fun running around trying to find it. When we got back, I went to get the sausages with Aunty Su. We ate some trifle in the kitchen and then went back to cook it. When the man was trying to open the butter, the thing suddenly popped open and the whole slice dropped onto his shoe! Eesha(most probably Spelling... She's the 10 year old girl) and I were laughing like mad.

After watching them cook sausages for a while, Eesha and I went to play with sparklers. It was quite fun. We tried killing ants! ;) We ate a few sausages and then walked aorund the place. When we looked into the room, the couples were all slow dancing. How cute!

After a while they stopped dancing, and the two teenage boys went into the room to play soccer and they started playing these HORRIBLE songs. So I just went and took my Ipod from my bag and listened to much better stuff. Finally we decided everybody was tired so we started packing and then headed home.

That was my first time EVER having a party on New Year's Eve. After that party, I just want to say this, BRING ON THE NEXT ONE!!
