Today was Marissa's birthday party. It was at the Singapore Island Country Club. There were 3 swimming pool. One with 2 slides, a bowling alley, a gym and a restaurant. After school, Frances, Siew Yun, Alethea, Elena, Yin Ling and I waited for Mariss'a mother. Marissa's mother is very young! Siew Yun, Marissa, Frances and I took a taxi while the others took Aunty Jasmine's car.

When we reached there, we went to the restaurant and ate lunch. I ate Fish and Chips and had 7up. I changed into normal clothes and then we went to play bowling. We weren't able to use bumpers because we were above 8. So i had to play WITHOUT bumpers! I couldn't beleive my ears... So we tried out on the first round while waiting for some other p5's to come. I got 40 something at first and then when the others came, we played the real competition. I turned out 3rd out of the 15 people! I got 65 and the highest was 67. I even got a spare! I got a photo frame as a prize.

Later, we went up again and had the cake and then got dressed to go swimming. We went on the slide a few times then went to the deeper side. Later we went back to the shallow side and played around. Alethea, Elena and I gave Carolyn and Sarah a tour. We brought them to the bubble pit, the very shallow pool to 'sunbathe' when there wasn't any sun, throught the huge fountain and to the unmusical fountain.

Then. off to the deeper end again and balanced on the thing for a game. We also played a sitting down game on the boards. Then we all went to bathe. When I went down to wait for mum, it turned out that she went to the wrong one. So i waited fo a longer while.

When I came back home, our chinese tuition teacher was there! Luckily my chiense results were good.
