winners of war games, winners of CT performance, winners of POP, ATHENA IS WINNER FAC!!!!!!

POP on friday was really awesome!! Before POP went for class dinner at Aston's (being complete nerds and creating equations relating the volume of food, speed of eating the food and the price), attempted to play soccer (omg i really cannot kick the damn ball). When we were doing our last blocking session in the central plaza dancing, it started raining!! So it was quite sucky and we all stood around waiting for the rain to stop or smth to happen.

Well, we didn't really stand around waiting. There was this crazy cheering session and a circle where people go in the middle and dance fac dance. But 11S68 of course, decides to stand outside and play the ABCD game and whack each others hands instead. Got bored of watching so dongying and i started playing scissors paper stone where the winner would get a sip of the ice lemon tea we did not buy. Ran out of ice lemon tea so we started eating the ice, and then we later stole mark's drink as well keke. The game expanded though since everyone didn't bring water along so the drink was our only source of hydration.

The rain did stop in the end which was amazing (it always does it for us - campfire, POP)!

POP itself was a little bit of a blur. Bc of the happenings during dance session on thursday i had both jooern and kaisheng for partners so in the end i just partnered jingzhan haha way to solve problems (Y) I fell down during the dance bc the floor was slippery from the rain D: but I got up fast and managed to continue so phewww! Luckily I was at the back too. (if you watch the video super closely you'll be able to see me fall D:)

To be honest, we all thought that artemis was the clear winner for POP. After their dance we were all looking at each other going OMG that was freaking good!! But watching back all the videos from the top view, it's understandable now! I showed it to my sister and she was saying that the dance was good, but very hard for a lot of people to do bc of it's technicalities in the dance.

So after we won we were super high and we were cheering like shit and I would burst out with a "WE WOONNNNN" every five minutes or so. Super amazing feeling (though at first we were like, did we win? did we win? bc we couldn't hear the announcer) (:


Had class supper at Marble Slab after POP where we sat outside the closed car shop like a gang playing bridge and cheat.

so the weekend was pretty great bc of the stuff i mentioned the post before.

dinner was basically a major gossip session on everyone and everything we do and it was great seeing everyone, even though we were all in different uniforms, together again and nothing seems to have changed for those couple of hours.



The public transport system kind of pissed me off that night though. Met pw at the bus stop at around 7pm across the road from school and we waited half an hour for the 171 that never came. So we then decided to maybe take a bus down to the school area so we would have 2 choices of buses to take. 171 did finally come to that bus stop, but drove right past us bc it was "full" but when you look inside people don't bloody bother to move in so the two of us could actually have fit right in. So basically, we had to wait 45 minutes for 1 bus which is preposterous in Singapore public transport system standards!! Worst thing was that syd had to leave at around 8 so we were basically rushing just to see her before she had to leave ):


Meiyin's party was like an sc girl reunion. It was fun to just be around faces that you've known and seen for 4 or more years everyday of your life again. We went pretty wild I guess (in my standards, which isn't really very wild) jumping all over the clubhouse yelling and singing and dancing. Something i haven't really been able to do in school (apart from campfire bc everyone just went insane there) and i wonder if i will ever feel comfortable enough for that.

That day I basically took a round trip. Went to clementi in the morning to meet pw and tis and syd for breakfast (which we didn't really eat in the end bc we are queens of being late) and made our way to meiyin's house. Following which that evening we went back to clementi for dinner. So i essentially passed by my house 5 times in one day and only actually stopped there twice.

OG17 outing (well not really out anywhere for me since it was at my place) was crazy fun too. The turn up was pretty good, with just around half the og coming. Our potluck actually turned out pretty good and we even had so much excess that we had to play the guess the number game just so we could get people to finish up the food.
We were slightly more active than we usually are, playing ping pong and frisbee which was quite hilarious (my genius tactic of hug-attacking sally, bryan being absolutely fail at monkey frisbee, lots of screaming/war cries and random monkey jumping around from kevin). Somehow we never get bored of playing our usual games like mono deal (or in jo and my case, singing the birthday song and changing pitch halfway through which annoys the hell out of bryan the band boy) or polar bear too. There is always something to laugh about, and somehow every outing you discover something new about your og mates ^^

I still find it ridiculously funny how kevin found the lounge bc he spotted werty's hair while driving past the window ZOMGWTFBBQ keke

AND i'm excited for this weekend to come.
My plan right now is as follows:
FRIDAY dinner with recess gang in our school unis!!! Only been two weeks since i last saw them again, but i'm so excited still < 3

was pleasantly surprised at how many people (girls) in my class brought stuff for everyone (: I expected vday to be nothing much but i did feel a little loved and my love for 11S68 grew a little more too :D

i don't need one person for valentine's day, i have plenty of people that love me and plenty of people i love and that's enough to make me a happy kid ^^

dk what i was doing but while standing broad jump-ing during pe today i jumped really weirdly and ended up landing on my knees.
That is embarrassing. ZOMG.
And now my knee hurts ):

so orientation has officially ended with a super high at campfire night.
Athena is the OWNING fac bc we won WAR GAMES (which was a hell lot of violent, violent fun) and the CT PERFORMANCE (which was a little disturbing at first). All we have to do now is sweep POP with our fac dance and faculty shield is ours :D

i'm getting more used to my class now, at least i can kind of talk to people? But I do still feel a little lost at times though.
But there is a long way to go and if it's going up now, it'll continue going up for a long while (:

but why does it seem that there is no one who wants to run with me, or just wants to run ):

WHUT a fortnight only? Seems like it's been forever already i miss them ):

600th post btw~

was just looking back at some of my photos from end last year, and prom photos made me really miss everything about SC again ):
it's been less than one week in school now, how am i going to survive 2 years????

I am kind of wishing the OG orientation wouldn't end.
Waking up at 6, going home at 10. Doesn't sound all that wonderful, but those 16 hours in school were a hell load of fun

Second place in orientation games, but definitely number 1 in our hearts overall ^^'

Orientation was basically a whole lot of:
Never ending cheering, winning streaks, our addiction to monopoly deal (my horrible playing that helps everybody else to win bc they steal my cards and money), going crazy singing the birthday song everytime someone plays the "It's My Birthday" card with Jo, playing polar bear and laughing so hard while everybody's eyes are still closed and we're all shouting WHAT WHAT, having meals together (14 pizzas!!), getting soaking wet playing orientation games (SLIPPERY SLOPE!!), freezing and cowering behind people when the wind happens to blow in your direction when you're wet, banner painting, creating masking tape monsters out of Sally and Mingxun and anybody else who was used as a making tape holder, playing more monopoly deal, watching ezor come up with ways to cheat in the games, having our own picnic while the CNY celebrations were going on, OMCHICHI OMCHI (or bompeepee bom pee LOLLOL)
a lot more but i either can't remember, or i'm just thinking you have already stopped reading this post.






in short, i have no regrets coming here, even though i felt like an awkward turtle and was so scared of people judging me or being alienated bc like 90% of the school is from IP, but i'm glad HC's orientation is kind of longer than other school's (even though it's not with OGs anymore). LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT WEEK ALREADY!
