Date ; Tuesday, December 29, 2009 Time ; 8:32 PM Title ; London bridge is not falling down, contrary to nursery rhyme. Hello! Been a week since I reached London. Doesn't really feel like it since majority of what we've been doing is shopping. Oxford Street is AMAZING. Uniqlo, Topshop, Mango, H&M, New Look, Accessorize, Urban Outfitters, American Apparel, etc., etc. And each of these stores are at least 3 stories high and FULL of clothes and what nots. And there aren't only one of those shops along the street. There are MANY. I think I saw like 4 uniqlo's and 5 H&Ms or something. So there was full on shopping for 3 days. Christmas was kind of quiet because a lot of stores were closed on Christmas day. We woke up late, went to have some chinese food and then took a walk around our neighbourhood (which is very nice because there are many many restaurants and stuff and a shopping mall :D). Then my mum and sis cooked dinner of like roast chicken and mashed potatoes. It's quite nice living in a serviced apartment. The only thing is like having to carry groceries back. But I kind of just try to do weights. HAHA. Like seriously. While walking back to the apartment I'd do weights with the grocery bag. That's another thing about London. If we aren't tubing, we are walking. Walk walk walk EVERYWHERE. Ok I'm not trying to recount my whole London trip right now. Shall do that some other time next year when I can upload my photos. Supposed to be going to the Museum of Natural History today and Harrod's and eat crepes and then go ice-skating at an outdoor rink at night. It's 12.42pm now. I don't know how we're going to accomplish all that. I'm excited for ice-skating :D It's been a whole year!! And outdoor too. With like all the scenery around you. Ooh I bought a pink leather notebook yesterday, finally going to start writing a diary again, because I figured there's too much that goes on in my head that I can't tell anyone or write here because it'll be too sensitive! It's gorgeous :D Paperchase was having this like big sale. Yay for boxing day. :D I want to go out NAO. NAONAONAO. OH. Forgot. Merry Chistmas everyone! :D And boxing day! And if I don't come back on, HAPPY NEW YEAR :D Lots of love, I should probably do my year recap shouldn't I? A little lazy to now though. It's nicer to do at home. But when school starts.. D:
Date ; Tuesday, December 22, 2009 Time ; 5:39 AM Title ; PAR-EE HELLO WORLD! It's 10.30pm here in Paris, last night here! Quick update after a week: Been to Bristol Weather is COLD Rome is nice, the weather was AWESOME while there, sun all the way (: Ate 4 gelatos in 3 days, one of them having 5 flavours at one go. Awesome, yes? EUROSTAR omg. Took the night train from Rome to Paris, the supposedly 15hour trip became 22 hours. I did manage to finally complete some homework though. My family is seriously lucky on that ride though it didn't seem like it. The train didn't break down, and along the way they gave us food, though not the most satisfying. I feel really sad for those people who passed away on some of the other eurostar trains ): Anyway, I prefer Paris to Rome. Streets are wider, it's better arranged and stuff. And the SNOW. Gorgeous. Imagine a park in front of the eiffel tower all covered in a blanket of white. Absolute love. Ok off to London tomorrow, taking a flight instead of the eurostar thank goodness. I mean, we were going to take a train but after all this... Ok internet's running out on the hotel computer!!! Till next time I get internet and can be bothered to blog hehe
Date ; Sunday, December 13, 2009 Time ; 3:48 PM Title ; leaving! Leaving for London in 7 hours! I can't believe I'm going still. AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! :D I really hope I see/meet mcfly, or at least just tom. But like that's ever going to really happen right? Right. I will still keep my eyes peeled! I'm going to miss Singapore and everybody in Singapore! I'm going to miss so many things. Sec 4 farewell for one ): I want to see everyone one more time before they all go to jc! I'm never going to have a new year, because I'll be on a plane and constantly changing time zones. Maybe it's a good thing because last year's new year kind of sucked big time. CHRISTMAS in london will be amazing though! The only sad part is not being able to randomly go around msn and say MERRY CHRISTMAS to every online contact when it reaches 12 (: OK, so BYE EVERYONE. I WILL MISS YOU DUODUO.
Date ; Friday, December 11, 2009 Time ; 1:04 PM Title ; Sa's BIRTHDAYY Ok this is a really delayed post, but I suddenly had the "I-feel-like-blogging" urge after not having it for a long time. So, two weeks ago it was ELISA LUR'S BIRTHDAY. :D Practically the whole sec 3 team was away because they all pretty much went to Malaysia on that particular weekend, so the remainder was Wenhui, Sa and I. On that beautiful (BURNING HOT) Saturday morning, we went to Sa's house to go surprise her at like 10 in the morning. It's really near my kindegarten! HAHA Just that I didn't see it. I had to wait in the sun for a while, because I kind of forgot their unit number and also forgot that it was in my phone. Had to wait for Wenhui, and Sa's mother came down to pick us up, because Na couldn't if not it'd be obvious. Went up to the house, haven't been there before so it was quite exciting. HEHE. Then we went to knock on her room door and then when she opened it we were like "SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" that kinda thing. I SWEAR HER FACE WAS EPIC. Not quite as epic as when we went to PF's house in May and she slammed the door on us, but still. Shock. How fun :D We gave her the tweety bird cake and then sang her a song and stuff. Then we charged our way into their room and played the Game of Life. I had the most pathetic pay in the world! I couldn't even make it to being a millionaire. Na actually had 20,000 at first, but then she spun 9 twice and so she got the 100,000 one after that because she was an entertainer or something like that. After playing we had to rush over to Square 2 where we ate our lunch in 10 minutes because I had to be in school at 1. And the game had dragged on so long because wenhui and sa both couldn't retire. And we ate at Sakae mind you! Hot, soupy stuff like ramen and soba. It was quite a fun morning, quite relaxing! I can't believe Sa and Na's room have candy stuck on the ceiling. HAHA. |
