Title ; we'll make the great escape

Haven't updated for exactly 2 weeks! And so much has happened. Yay so I think I'll make posts about different random events that has happened (:

Penang Kedah trip with exco!
This is actually one of my favourite school trips that I've been on, first one will always be Kinabalu because that was just utterly amazing and it made me do things I thought I never could (: But anyway, this trip. We kind of found out we were going to go for it a week before the trip, so it was completely out of the blue. My first thought of it was that it would be actually really cool because it was so impromptu and spontaneous. What's more is that it is an honour, only 12 people from the whole school were asked to go, and those 12 people included me. In addition, it was like a getaway. Just this sudden trip you take to get away from life, horrible exam results etc. The scary part was that we were travelling with two of the principals and one teacher, for 8 of us.

Roadside chendol

Look at the amount of FOOD!

Peranakan Museum where they filmed Little Nyonya!

Tau sa pia place

ME + YOU, I'MMA TELL YOU 1 TIME.

The trip really isn't like any other school trips, because unlike other school trips, there wasn't actually a planned out, structured itinerary. Like we could randomly stop at a roadside to go eat chendol or spend horrendously long times starving while waiting to eat famous char kway teow, and we also didn't have any lights out or anything, so we could stay up as late as we wanted, camwhoring, playing cards, doing crazy things.

I think the school visit itself was really enriching, you don't often get to visit schools from another country and see how they run their things, and the way they run their things is really different. Like they have 3 different uniforms for the school, 1 for prefects, 1 for muslim students, and 1 for non-muslim students. They showed us this arts and crafts exhibition that the students did, and the things that they made were amazing! Like shirt folders, and the one thing that was really fascinated me, was this egg carton folded into two, one way up it would be a castle, you turn it around it was an office. It's so creative! We also met the exco from the school, I remember some of their names! Hana, Jocelyn, Raihan, Sasha... :D The 60th PB is one lucky bunch of people.

We were stuffed this trip. Like really. The first night, we went to this hawker centre kind of place, and everytime the principals left the table, they'd come back with 3 more plates of food. And we were all bloated till the food reached our throats or something.

Everywhere we went was fun, because we can talk non-stop and we would sing everywhere we went, in the van, in a train, along the roads. Favourite songs to sing: A, A, ME + YOU, I'MMA TELL YOU ONE TIME, JAIII HOOOOOO, etc. etc. It was so fun! The newest invention, and fad I'm gonna tell you that, because it's hell catchy: TTMAM (tee-tee-ma'am). To the Max and MORE! Gaya kept saying t-tam at first, but after several corrections she finally got it right, and she says it everywhere now.

Then night times, omg, night times. I love my hotel roomies TTMAM. :D:D Gaya, Shana and Shen-nen are the CRAZIEST, FUNNEST people to room with. Night times were where the real fun happened. Camwhored like crazy, we became rap stars, gaya was gross throwing things everywhere, listening to Gaya's tamil music on her phone, camwhoring, playing cards, singing, camwhoring, laughing till we wanted to die.

The second night was so WTH. Shen-nen and I were in bed, ready to go to sleep, and then suddenly we heard the doorbell ring. So Shen-nen went to look through the peep-hole and no one was there. We asked Shana and Gaya, and they told us they didn't do it. So then we were like, NEVER MIND. LET'S GO TO SLEEP. But then after like five minutes, the door bell rang again. So Shen-nen and I kind of screamed and ran over to Shana and Gaya's room and crammed ourselves into their bed. So four of us were squished in one bed, and Gaya refused to sleep in front of the mirror so she kept crawling over Shen-nen and Shana to keep out of the mirror. I slept on about 1/10th of a pillow that night. The next day, Gaya conveniently told us that the second time the door bell rang, it was them. Shen-nen and I were like OMGWTHBBQ.

On the plane ride back, Shana and I sat next to this American man, who apparently was a farmer, then worked for Bush, and is now a CEO of some company because Obama came in and he was the democratic party or something. Everyone I tell this to tells me that he was lying to our faces, but I don't really know about that, it's kind of a hard story to come up with right? He tried to help us get the day off after. HAHA, totally failed.

I finally understand the reasoning behind Fart-lanna.
