Date ; Time ; 4:48 PM Title ; Hello hello (: It's the end of the week again. How fast. Only one more week till school starts and I still have have that skyscraper tower of homework to do. HOPE H1N1 CLOSES SCHOOL. Anyway,HAPPY ONE DAY BELATED BIRTHDAY COUSIE JEEAN! Went out with the backrowbullies yesterday, missing sardine because she's away in indo. I totally overslept and missed my dental appointment in school (like I haven't already missed it twice this year). Then because we were supposed to meet at the bus stop and cars can't wait there I ended up having to public transport my way to the Singapore Polo Club. It's a really stupid story really. I was rushing to get to the RTC bus stop, so then when 165 came I decided to take it and then switch to 153 or 186. Not smart. Apparently another 156 passed the RTC while I was waiting for those two buses. So finally 153 came, and I had to make my way totally to the Polo Club myself. So I was supposed to drop at the RTC bus stop and then take a taxi there, but me being kind of broke thought I could wait it out one more stop, thought there would be a stop before the bus went on to the PIE. WRONG. So I stopped in the middle of the PIE, and had to wait for a bus to come and take me to the stop before the Polo Club so I could take a cab in (because it's uber far in). So I finally got there. And all this time, 156 could go straight to the Polo Club. Gah. So anyway, we went swimming, then we went to the sauna. It started getting seriously hot, and then nat started throwing tissues into the coal, which then produced a burning smell which chased us out. We bathed, ate lunch. We totally overordered! We were stuffing our faces with food. Like every inch of the table was covered with food. Seriously. Then we rushed off to J8. We watched Ghost of Girlfriends Past, totally pissing off the really blur and annoying ticket selling lady. Like seriously. We tried to ask her if there was student price like 4892384184931 times and she totally ignored us. She would just stare at us. Then, GV's having this sure-win jackpot thing right? And if you buy 3 tickets you're entitled to a card. And she DIDN'T give us the card. So we had to go ask for it. Then she just kept staring at us for a while until finally she gave it to us. The movies quite nice I guess. Typical romcom, but who doesn't love romcoms right? :D After the movie we went to the Body Shop sale they were having. We ended up buying like 100+ dollars worth of things in total, but we only paid like 50. Because it's the GSS! :D I've got my awesometastic strawberry scented body soap to bathe in school again :D
Date ; Tuesday, June 16, 2009 Time ; 12:01 PM Title ; boomboompow Today's gonna be a travel-ly day. Just had tuition, trigo is frying my brain. Class CIP later at Marymount. I hope I don't get lost! I've got to change bus. Which sucks. Hate changing buses because buses are so temperamental. I hope CIP will be fun! If the children are in Primary School I'm quite messed up for math. Still remember that time during tuition all the secondary/jc people tried to do this p3 math question for this cute little boy with orange sunglasses and a cowboy hat and failed miserably. After that I have to travel to Jurong East D: for YL's party. THAT, is like Bus - MRT - Bus. I topped up my EZ link card last week and I have used up 6 bucks of it already! Oh yeah, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY YIN LING (: Crazy little junior who's growing too fast for my liking! Drake Bell's Makes Me Happy confused me. I thought it was sung by McFly at first! He sounds a bit like Tom at times! Which is :O Maybe that's why I like the song. HAHA. It sounds like Smile - a bit. I'm contemplating getting a twitter so I can spam McFly's pages in hope that they will actually reply me.
Date ; Sunday, June 14, 2009 Time ; 9:39 PM Title ; Aviva week I think it's been a pretty good week (: With the exception of having my hair cut too short so I now have a gross fringe, but whatever. It'll grow back. This week was AVIVA OPEN. :D Didn't really know what to expect, but it was super fun. Wednesday met up with SCBTBDF to go study at Kallang Leisure Park before the Aviva Open. I went to study, but didn't go for the Aviva Open because I went to meet up with the SCIJ gang after that. Went to Island, met Tis on the bus. After eating ice-cream we went to the botanics. We entered through the Cluny Park I think? Then we just randomly walked, and we finally had a goal, we realised we had taken to super long route to get to that goal. We were all perspiring like crazy. Got to the Symphony Stage and camwhored like crazy then we went to buy overpriced drinks because we were so thirsty and we trekked all the way to the Orchard gate. It was great seeing Mel, Gen and Ven after a long time (: Thursday went for Aviva Open. It's quite fun. We would like make bets with no prizes to guess who would win. And we smuggled our food in. With Joellyn's magical pants which could fit a bottle of water, 2 can drinks, kinder bueno etc etc and our jackets. The securtiy is seriously super slack there. Had dinner at some sushi place at KLP then went back and watched till almost 9.30++. Lee Chong Wei (seed 1) lost to some unseeded Vietnamese with no coach, and Peter Gade(seed 2) lost to some unseeded Indian. Shocker. Friday was filming for media. Haha. Filming is so uber fun! We laughed our heads off and then got tired and then laughed our heads of again and then got tired again. After filming PW and Momo and I went to Orchard to go find the Adam Lambert Rolling Stones but we couldn't find it. Instead I bought RADIO:ACTIVE SINGAPORE DELUXE EDITION. OMG I WAS SO FRIGGIN HAPPY. After buying it I literally went "lublub" every five minutes while we were walking to wheelock. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. First ever CD I bought totally with my own money. Downside is that I'm kinda broke now. Bought Percy Pig and Pals too. Sister cooked dinner (with the help of me and other sister!) for mum. It was Cajun Potatoes and Pan-fried breaded Pork chops. Pretty good stuff, especially the potatoes (which we made!). Saturday... Oh! Met up with badminton again at about 12+, studied at the Food Court in KLP till about 2 and then went to watch Aviva Open. I watched like, 1 match. Haha. The hyundai person or however you spell it and his partner for mixed doubles. They lost to China. Boo. Then I left to go meet PSH people for the PSH 21st Anniversary Carnival. Turn out was as usual, pathetic. Saw Felicia for like the first time in 9 years! Rest of the people were pretty much the same. So we met a lot of people along the way that I didn't remember but they sort of remembered me. Only person I remembered was Ms Donna. The carnival itself wasn't very exciting, but it was really cool reminiscing and like trying to spot ourselves in pictures. So many stories I don't remember at all. Today went for Aviva Open FINALS! Caught the Women's singles which was ok. The men's doubles was like WHOA. The English pair Anthony Clark and Nathan Robertson who are world number 19 beat the Indonesians whose names I don't know who are world number 1 and were the Beijing Olympics gold medalist. Oh wait, they didn't beat. They TRASHED. I was like whoaaaa because their smashes are like whoaaa. When they won, they both like fell to their knees facing each other about 2 metres away from each other and were like "SOU!!!!" Which was quite cute. I could imagine them with their English accents saying that!! If they were hot I would totally support them all the way. HAHA. Then there was the mixed doubles which were totally boring so everybody just kind of left to go to KLP to get some food. Then we went back and we supported whichever team was winning so that it would get over and done with faster. I mean China vs China is just bleh. Men's singles was the bomb! We cheered our hearts out like crazy and my clappers all deflated to nothingness (or were burst by Antje's brother). But Boonsak lost. ): But the match was really WOW. And apparently we were on TV. Haha! How cool is that? After the whole thing we had to walk super far to the bus stop because the bus stop that I usually take was SUPER CROWDED. Like you can see people spilling out of the sides waiting for 16. So we walked really far and waited really long and saw 2 uber crowded 16s pass. Got home at like 8+. Man Aviva Open was an eye-opener. The standards are really pro and WHOA. Like Boonsak was able to defend by hitting the shuttlecock from through his legs. And also Aviva Open taught me that even though you may not be on top, you can still beat the top. :D And when you're at the top you're under more stress, but Mr Wong kind of told us this every year in the South Zone Finals and things like that. And the audience was really funny. But it was so fun. Sososofun. :D I realised this week is my "get sent home by someone else's parent" week. THREE TIMES. After tuition, after aviva and after carnival. How odd.

Date ; Friday, June 05, 2009 Time ; 11:11 PM Title ; Reminscing or however you spell it. 15th SLC ended today. I asked Pleebo and Carolyn how it went and now I'm starting to miss 14slc again. Haha. I honestly think 14slc was a lot cooler than 15slc :D I reread my posts that I made and GOSH, I was so young then! HAHA. The way I blogged then and now is quite different. Firstly, I sound way to overexcited and bim. (please don't tell me that's just me, because IT'S NOT.) Memories of last day: I think events like these, slc and scmun, even though majority of the people you meet there, you won't talk to or meet anytime in the near future, there are the people who you will meet and keep contact with for a long time and there are the people who are your acquaintances, but after that event, you become closer to them and they turn out to be a lot nicer than you would have ever imagined. I think it's for that very reason why these events make life a little brighter and keep in your memory for a long time to come.
Date ; Monday, June 01, 2009 Time ; 12:46 AM Title ; why is it so hard to come up with post names? Hm, my rc just loaded so I just lost my mood to blog. HAHA. I shall just write incoherent random thoughts here. I kind of miss twentyfour now. I miss the crazy 28 hours with the piglet dancer, the sarcasm spotter, the super laugher and the rc-ing slacker. I miss the ultimate pigging out with all the junk food ann's mum got for us. I miss laughing at momo's quotable quotes and zombie/rafia bloopers I miss making so much noise when we should be sleeping I miss the crazy hair makeover I miss the madness of the editting that was hell - well, maybe not I miss the "OMG, the oompa loompa!" I miss the crazy unfair twister where the spinner was totally discarded I miss the water cows I can't wait to see what the results will be like! I hope we win something, but even if we didn't, what the heck because those 24 hours were totally crazily amazing. Sunday is now let's-cook-dinner-together night! It feels good having really edible food that we can thoroughly enjoy. Potato gratin ftw! I watched HSM3 for like, my 4th time today. And I realised why I love the series so much. Haha, despite like 90327590237 people thinking HSM is totally lame and such a bad movie, I just love it to the core. Could be because it's part of my childhood kinda. Watching all three movies together like at least 25 times. Performing it during Teachers' Day in Primary School (embarrassing, but so fun. I remember the SUPER mass phone calls that we'd have), the crazy fandom of covering my bedroom wall with the posters. I think I've changed quite a bit over the years, but I've just always been a Disney movie girl, I don't wanna grow out of it ): But eventually I will, or will have to. Oh yeah, and HAPPY (belated)BIRTHDAY PEI FEN AND PEI LI! :D PEIFEN: I bet you really loved our surprise! (: So what if you had a really rough day and you don't get what you want, but there's always the BDF around no matter what, whenever, where ever. PEILI: I FOUND A PICTURE OF YOU! HAHA! You're like, ageing so fast peili! You're free from education, you're getting paychecks and you're learning to drive! It's all quite scary, how time flies. From that time when we were just little people playing badminton on the road at 6 every evening. How free we were then! But it's good to know that even though you're getting older, you're still uber duper young at heart. UNLEASH YOUR INNER FANGIRL! :D Have I mentioned I'm so glad it's the June holidays?? This year, for once, I'm glad for the holiday not so much because I'll be able to go out and get my life back, but because there's no school. Which is quite sad, because I used to love school so much. But now it's just blah. Need to find that love back. |
