What can I say? We're in the FINALS! Against RGS, duh. I'd just like to tell all my teammates, don't give up before the game has started! Sure RGS may be good, sure they have like, 7 seeded players, but what makes you think we should just give up like that? You saw our seniors fight like crazy, you saw how close they came to winning. By just a few points! Please, SC Badminton can't be intimidated that easily! We're gonna fight all the way to the very last point and even if we do lose(touch wood) we know we would have tried our best.
So until the Monday, prepare yourselves, it won't be easy, but I KNOW we have it in us! GO SCBT!
It has been so HORRENDOUSLY long since I used the computer, thanks to my wonderful internet who refused to work for me until my mum's friend fixed it. Anyway, invest is way over, like... 3 weeks ago? I was suffering from serious withdrawal symptoms the day after. Investiture was the BEST EVER. Though the people in the hall didn't think much of it becaue the live feed wasn't very good. I really do think investiture was a success in the Khoo Audi... There are all my pictures in my Facebook. I really really miss invest pracs. They were so enjoyable and fun... Sigh.
Anyway, competition has started and South zone will be ending next next week. Monday. So preliminary round just ended, and we beat all the schools except for Cedar 5-0!! =D We beat Cedar 4-1! We're going against Crescent on Tuesday and then if we win, most probably against RG on Monday. I don't remember feeling so much for the team last year. It makes a difference being a captain I guess. Thursday was the most exciting match without a doubt. Against Cedar. I played exceptionally well for myself and I don't really know why. I just felt sort of calm. Which isn't very me. After we won, we didn't have training! Only physical. We had to do the 5 station thing and it was quite funny watching the juniors do it the first time because they kept forgetting the order. Me too actually. =D After that, we had cake, because Antje's birthday was yesterday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANTJE! Antje refused to eat the cake, so I told her "eat it or it goes on your face." I was honestly kidding, but then Wen Hui smacked some onto her face and thus, began a cake fight. It was kind of fun, all the screaming and running around the hall. I ate 2 pieces of cake! =D I've never enjoyed myself so much during a training before. It's AWESOME.
To sum this whole thing up, I LOVE SCPB AND SC BADMINTON!!!
