My mum came back from London on Sunday and GUESS WHAT?? SHE GOT ME THE OFFICIAL 2008 MCFLY CALENDAR!! ON the LAST day of her trip!! Whoo!! And lots of chocolates... Of course she gummy-fied me... =) Glad she's back. Sunday's felt weird without her... No going out... Just like a normal day.
The Heart Never Lies - McFly
11:39 AM
I've changed my blogskin, again. I did like that thingy but it kept getting screwed up whenever I added a video or something. I've been DYING to put this video up. The latest McFly single, The Heart Never Lies. The video is so much more mature than their other once but I love this song!!!! =) Then again, which McFly song do I not like? =DLYRICS
Some people laugh
Some people cry
Some people live
Some people die
Some people run
Right into the fire
Some people hide
Their every desire
But we are the lovers
If you don't believe me
Then just look into my eyes
'cause the heart never lies
Some people fly
Some people fall
Others pretend
They don't care at all
If you want to fight
I'll stand right beside you
The day that you fall
I'll be right behind you
To pick up the pieces
If you don't believe me
Just look into my eyes
'cause the heart never lies
Whoa x2
Another year over
And we're still together
It's not always easy
But I'm here forever
We are the lovers
I know you believe me
When you look into my eyes
Because the heart never lies
'cause the heart never lies
Because the heart never lies
MUAHAHAHA!!

ACM Exhibition
1:49 PM
The A(sian)C(ivilisation)M(useum) exhibition is starting on Monday and ending on 10th November! GO SEE IT! =) Heh, I'm just so excited! I've never done anything like that before or believed that I can! EEEE!Oh yeah, and Carolyn thought that ACM stood for Ancient Civilisation Museum. Hee hee!
Alone.
1:42 PM
I can't believe I'm emo-ing so much now a days but I just can't seem to help it...Have you ever felt alone? Alone as in, not without friends or anything. Alone as in, no one who's really REALLY REALLY REALLY close to you. I mean, you always watch shows and stuff, is it me, or does everybody else always seem to have an inseparable best friend?
Sure, I have lots of friends, that's great. There just doesn't seem to be anyone who I'm really close to and who I can tell EVERYTHING. I honestly mean EVERYTHING. There are lots of things about me that people don't know. Plenty. Those things are actually pretty big too. I've always wanted somebody who knows me inside out and vice versa. Somebody who will always come to me for anything and vice versa too. I've had my share of best friends but how long have they actually stayed best friends? Once we change classes, it's almost a gone case except for a few exception.
Everybody goes their own way, I know, but there's got to be somebody that I can really call a best friend, right?

After school today I went out with Cherri, Antje, Pei Fen and Siew Yun for lunch. We took a long long while to decide where to go before we finally went to Coro's Waribee Cafe(you've got to love Mao for introducing it). We ate stuff. Yeah. Then Pei Fen went to get her Bubble tea and sushi and we went to RTC. We were joined by Elisa and Joellyn and we went bowling. I kind of suck. I don't think I ever had a time where I was able to hit pins both times. Not one of the good days. We only managed to play one round because the thingy stopped at 4. After bowling, we went to the arcade and played games. The most fun one was the table soccer thingy! That rocks! We had four players at a time, my partner always being Elisa. Then we'd just anyhow kick the ball around. I scored TONS of own goals! My aim is very off. The ball would just go right through my soccer people and yeah. We played at the small little arcade for like, 1 hour plus and then I finally went home. Sigh.
The school year's over! =(
8:16 PM
Well. Now school's ended already. It just went by like that, ZIPPP. Melaka trp seems centuries ago. This week has been preety busy I guess. Like, on Wednesday there was the inter-class Games Day thingy. I must say, I suck at basketball. We didn't do to well in the first few games but eventually we caught up and won! Yay! Quite a few people weren't very happy about us, something about the same person scoring for us. Nothing wrong with that! Also something about us being rough but it's obviously by accident right? Ah well. We won, and got this cute little shirt that say SCGS Basketball which I put onto Oracle! =)Yesterday there was Talentime. 2PE did a really good job on the Open Catergory. If we got to vote for sec 2's I would have voted for them but then, sec 2's no votey us, we no votey sec 2's. Our class did the Teen Titans theme you know,
when there's trouble you know who to call....
Teen Titans!
Yeah. During the practices we were ok. I was the first "T" in Teen Titans! =) We had our letters stuck to our back and we were supposed to do the whole "T-E-E-N-T-I-T-A-N-S, TEEN TITANS, LET'S GO!" Thing but when we were supposed to stop in the middle of the stage, they just ran right across! oO! Then we sort of ran back on again and did the whole thingy. =) Our class came in 2nd for Open Catergory(Yay Charmaine, Carolyna and Julia!) and 3rd for Class Catergory. 1SE came in first for both. Goody for them!
Now school's over. We had group hug at the end of the day! Love GY. When I'm just a student. =) I'll be going back to school loads still. Sigh. Training. GIB on 5th November! YAYS!
ACM thingy

You know, I never wanted to do this project. Of having my book shown to the whole of Singapore. It never crossed my mind but somehow, here I am. I'm glad for it too! I mean, I've made new friends, sort of remade them too. Plus, I'm getting loads of free snacks. =) Like, last Saturday we were supposed to work on our board, Ms Sie gave us Time Out. It was also super fun to talk to all the people there. Yayzors! Then today, I missed like, 2 hours of the emotional intelligence workshop because I had to finish the board by 9.30am, which actually ended up being finished at 10.30. Then after school today, Manizah, Carolyn, Samy, Umi, Amber, Joanna, Tessa, Chloe and I went to the ACM together to go touch up on our boards and help to put it up. It was ultra fun and we took pictures! I'll probably post them when Mani sends them to me...
So yeah. I can't wait till the exhibition comes up! My boards the one with tissue paper flowers! =)
Great Eastern Run '07
8:25 PM
Yesterday was the GE run... No, I wasn't running because I would never survive the first kilometer. I just went there to support. I ended up taking a taxi to the Padang because I figured I was going to be late so yeah. When I reached there, I was wondering how on EARTH I was going to find the SC tent but honestly, it was easy as pie. It was the only tent with masses of yellow-shirt girls. I was just in time to go flag off the 10K girls. There was this sign that said 'SC Rocks" and I was the "K"! Yay! We had to hold it up and stuff and my hands got REALLY tired. After all the 10K people had run off we sort of walked around mingling with the runners. I walked around mostly with Mariann and Laura... Mariann was the "C" and Laura was the "O". We went to get balloons and we tied them to our hair ties so they hung there. It kept feeling like it was going to come off and they were filled with helium so...We went to cheer for the 10K people finishing the race first. This lady from Kenya, finished 10K in 34 MINUTES! Shocking. Truly. After a while we had to go flag of the 5K people. This time SC was right in front and the commentator kept talking about us because we were the largest school contingent. We all sang the school song! =) When all the SC girls had cleared and these other people were walking past, we could hear them mummuring,"SC Rocks" to themselves or to their friends. They spoke the truth I tell you!
After that we ran back to the finishing line and cheered for the people finishing the 10K still. Hands ached like CRAZY. Oh yeah, Ms Heng, Mrs Low, Ms Kim and all were in the marathon too! So we cheered and shouted for like, 2 hours. The commentator was really funny. He was like,"All the girls who are from SCGS scream!", which was followed by all SC girls screaming. Then he said,"All girls who are from SC and have boyfriends scream!" and somebody actually did! LOLS. Hmm, Ms Heng came in last along with Ms Kim and all the SC girls were standing at the sidelines screaming away for Ms Heng even though she was last. We got a trophy for the largest school contingent! Yays! The "SC Rocks" girls all held up our boards and marched back to the SC tent. =D We then took a group photo and we were stuck behind and only our boards could be seen thanks to the tall people. So next time you see that photo, I'm the "K"!
After the race, Mariann and I decided to go to my house just to play. We took the MRT to Buona Vista but smart me, forgot that it was a Sunday and that 92 does not operate on Sundays! So we sat there for 20 minutes waiting for a bus that wasn't coming. So we took a taxi back home. When we got there I showed Mariann around my house and then we started playing Speed and all sorts of card games... Then we had lunch and played Fishing at the same time... Then we lazed on my bed and played all sorts of crazy card games and "slept" and called people for the fun of it. Finally she went home and I slept till 7.
I don't know why, but I kept thinking it wasn't Sunday. Felt weird waking up so early and not seeing my mum. Sighs.
What is a leader?
Thursday, October 18, 2007 6:00 PM
What is a leader? Is it someone who is very helpful? Someone who knows how to get things done? Or someone who is so influential that everyone listens to him/her? If that's that case, I think I've failed as one.I canNOT wait to finish the year and drop my position as class rep. It's hard enough being a class rep or a prefect, but juggling both? I don't think so. This actually has nothing much to do with juggling both though. I'm just thinking, I may be able to help with all the big stuff for the class like push-cart and things like that, but if I can't even get the class to hand in acknowledgement slips/homework on time or get them to keep quiet for more than 20 seconds, what type of a class rep am I?
Sure, being a class rep/prefect has its perks but honestly, I don't really like having to take nearly all the responsibility. When the class is noisy, "Where's the class rep/prefects?", when the class doesn't hand in work, "Where's the class rep/prefects?" Yay for me, I'm both. Because of that, I've been scolded thrice already this year. To tell you the truth, it sucks like crazy. I'm getting used to it though. After a while it just doesn't sink in I guess. I tell myself over and over again it's not ALL my fault but it really is, isn't it? If only there was a way...
Can't think of a title for this random post.

Phee-ew. Last Sunday, my sister suddenly popped the question. No, not "will you marry me?" or anything! She just asked me if i wanted to jog around the estate. Obviously I thought she meant, within the condo. Apparently she didn't. The route we ended up taking was the perimeter and more of our condo. Fer-eekay. So we jogged out from the back gate, down the Henry park thingy and back to the back gate. I was ultra stitchy and breathless. Of course, not breathless enough to play badminton later. It was quite fun actually, since I've never actually played one on one badminton with my biggest sister. AND, she was ultra rusty after not playing for 3 years so I could smash her all I wanted! =) But she's still good. =(
Apparently the song technology is a very very bad song. It's about it. There I was thinking it was about computers. Not really actually. =D
Anyway, got some results back today. It was really really freaky because the teachers would give us this little talkey thingy before they handed out the papers which basically made us look like we suck. THANK GOODNESS NOT! My best today, unshockingly, is Chinese. I mean, when the other subjects given out are History and literature, not hard for that to happen. I barely scraped and A1 for that... The other two... I barely got A2 for History and I actually did better than that for lit. Wow. I officially hate Brainy and Cyn for being, well, brainy. Tomorrow we're getting back science and english! Bah-mania!!
OVVERRRR!!!!!!!

Yay! EOYS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER! I'M A FREE WOMAN!!! Hahahhahaha! Tisa was telling yesterday that after all the papers are collected everybody should jump up and start singing "What Time is It?" I totally agree! Hahaha... But we'd have to change the lyrics a little. After the putting the tables back, I had this urge to go out and celebrate but there was no one to celebrate with... Sadly. So then when I was heading back to class Mao asled me if I was going out and we both weren't so we decided to ask more people! Yay! So we went back to class and gathered Pei Wei, Cynthia and Lin Dee. We tried to get Sydney but she didn't wanna... =( So we went to Coronation, PW's mum sent us there! Yay. We went to this cafe called Waribee cafe where Mao goes quite often and the owner recognises her. I ordered this Gratin and a sprite... We talked a lot, laughed a lot, it was super fun! Yay! Whee... So after that like, 1 hour lunch? We all went home. Just as they were asking me what bus I was going to take, and I was saying 156, I saw 156 leaving and I started running... Yay! I feel so free and... Free. I completely slacked yesterday man!
Hmmm... Training will be starting again...
