Yesterday was the basketball game at the Indoor Stadium. I didn't really know what to expect but it was pretty fun actually! The place actually looked like a real basketball place and the game was the Singapore Slingers vs. Brisbane Bullets. It's kind of obvious who would win right? But you're wrong. The Singapore Slingers won with 119 points. Apparently that's a first.

The place was mostly packed with foreigners and stuff, just like the Singapore team. The Singapore Slingers had a total of 3 Singaporeans in the team, all of which were pretty useless when it came to playing. The Brisbane Bullets actually had plenty of chances to score but no matter how many times they tried to shoot they couldn't really go in... Did I mention the people are REALLY tall? Like, the tallest Singapore Slinger was 208cm. That doesn't mean that they're the best players though. They can be a little clumsy. There was one guy, who did a slam dunk! He shot it in and hung onto the net! Ultra cool man!

I also got to eat a Mars Bar, chips and have a Sprite... I wanted one of those fingers but my mum said no... =( After the game I was sent home and I spent the rest of the night watching tv...

Then today was the Cheers competition... It took like, 50 minutes to get to the SBA!! So long!! Anyway, I basically got there, registered... I saw MS Cheong there! She was the registration person and at first I was wondering whether it was really her because she plays basketball, what would she be doing there? But it was her so yeah. After that I talked to Rachel and stuff, warmed up...

Siew Yun, Cherri and Antje came to support us! Plus, Jocelyn was there too even though I didn't really talk to her but yeah. Our match was delayed for like, 20 minutes but we did play anyway. We won like 21 something and 21 something. =)

I had to line judge for the next match and MAN it was boring. They had a rubber set which went like, 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2. You get the picture. It finally ended and I went home soon after...
