Date ; Wednesday, September 19, 2007 Time ; 9:05 PM Title ; English remedial was hilarious today! We had to split up into groups and write a formal letter on a given topic. Sounds boring doesn't it? With Roopinder, Rukaya and Shu Wen in your group, not anymore. Our task was to write a Thank You letter to a customer. We chose to write about a hotel as Mrs Tan had just been telling us about it... So we wrote that we were Fullerton Hotel, but then we had to write the address and we had no idea what it's address was. Roopinder made the suggestion of "Riverside Lane". THEN, Rukaya had this GENIUS idea and said that Fullerton was in Indus Valley! We were laughing away like Hyenas and then we chose the customer's address which thanks to me, became Chicken Lane! We were writing the letters and due to our tiredness and boredom, we thought up of nonsense. Honsetly nonsene. I did have to remind Rukaya that this was english and not history. We were like, talking about how half the money that the customer paid was going to go to some sort of charity or something. "How about the money go into building dams to prevent floods?" "Irrigation Channels!" Eventually we ended up with donating the money to the Indus Valley Anti-flood Association! Oh oh, our customer's name was Anuria Kaur! Hees. And then the person from Fullerton Hotel's name was Aryan Singh. Hahahahhahaha Whee! We were SO killing two birds with one stone! "How about we write, we look forward to seeing you again and then in brackets write unless we're underwater!" |
