Whee! Today was the National Day rehearsal in school. I sort of forgot so I was sort of wodnering why the courtyard was empty. But it didn't take me that long to figure out. I saw Carolyn in the classroom and we were about to go off together when Megan came. Then Megan rushed to put her bag down and we were starting off again, Julia came so we waited for her. Finally we reached teh field. Pei Wei, Cyn, Darrelle, Lindee and loads of others were there already. We just hung until we had to go to position.

The grass was wet so the water was sort of splashing onto me. I realised that the secondary school doesn't really give a shit about staying at attention. I really tried but it didn't really work. Anyway, the usual national day rehearsal stuff, felt a bug biting me. Yucks.

Went to position which is now at the opposite end of the track. Pretty good position though. Must try to get a seat near the... Wait. I'll have to go to the sports complex. Darn it! Anyway, they played music while we moved to position. Farisha, Tisa, Rukaya and I were singing away. And we were trying to be enthu, but when we did something, nobody would follow so we'd eventually stop. It's very sad(d?)ening. After singing we watched the NCC people perform.

Then we went onto the field and started singing. The crowd was more enthu now and GY and SE were combining to do the Kallang wave. The first bit was like "WHOOSH!" But then towards the end it would die. Haha... Tisa, Rukaya, Farisha and I were doing the action for the Five Stars arising. =) So after singing a lot, then we went back to class...

I'm going to have to help to enthu-sise people on Wednesday too! Yays. At least Tisa, Farisha and Alanna will be there too!
