Title ; National Day '07!

Hmmm... I got to school really early that day, and honestly, I didn't actually need to. I reached school at like, 6.45!! And then I stuffed my bag in the prefects room, met Tisa and we were walking around inside, looking at all the super cool stuff! =) Then we had to go meet Ms Leong and I thought I had to do duty but I really didn't and so I went back to the track.

So basically what I did, with Sha, Tisa and Chuan En, was to stand at the stands and give out programs to all the parents who had come to watch. It was quite fun I guess. Better than standing on the field and blacking out. So we had the same old, same old.

Then after the ceremony we went to sit down with the sec 1's and watch the performances... There was like, NCC, which basically reminded me of what the Red Cross did last year, then the gym which was ultra cool because they "gym-ed" to Rihanna's "Shut Up and Drive" and like, we were cheering for crazy for Hui Qi. Then there was the usual Primary School aerobics. This year, they did aerobics in dresses and they had to lie on the ground and kick their legs in the air! At least they were wearing underpants. The crowd went crazy for them because they were adoraBLE! Oh, there was the Primary School Choir who performed. They did the same thing as the choir concert, still lip-synching. Gah.

So then, the most fun part, the singing! Sha, Tisa and I stood together in front with the rest of the crowd and we were super enthu! =) We were jumping up and down and I should think I was going out of tune but it was fun. I tried blowing bubbles but it kept ending up in people's faces. Oops. We tried to find Pei Wei, Cyn, Julia and all. I ended up finding them, but got seperated from Sha and Tisa. Turns out, Cyn's afraid of bubbles! =) Then we found Sha, kept singing.

Finally the actual celebration ended but it was only like, 9.20 and the official let out time for schools was 10 so we all helped to pick up the stuff from the field and then we listened to Ling Yu's "Where does Mickey Mouse live?" joke and we played the bomb game. =) It was fun, very time-killing. So finally we were let out... Yay! I walked with Julia and Tisa to the bus stop.
