Title ; Mr Mentos and the three elective modules

Yes, the people in my group were lucky when we chose our elective module. Everybody only got one, but us, we got three. Geography, History and Communication Skills. And of course, we got kit kats and Mentos' too.

Well, on the first day, Sydney, Yan Hong, Justine, Jolie and I had to greet a man who claimed that his name was "Mr Mentos". I could tell that people were trying hard to contain their laughter. After the greeting, he stared at his paper and said,"What elective module is this? Oh yes, Geography." Then he started asking people where they thought he came from. People gave the weirdest answers ever like, India. Well he later asked me and yay, he was from UK. So he gave me a Mentos. Sydney tried to steal it from me. Then he started drawing a map on the board which had eyes and legs and hands. Then he started making us guess which part of the UK he stayed in.

After a while, nobody could gues it. Then he looked at his paper, and was like,"Oh wait! This is the wrong elective module! It's History! And he started saying something about how a ship left that place about a 100 years ago and crashed into a iceberg and sank(it's the Titanic in case you didn't know). Then Vera guessed Southhampton. And he asked her how she knew. She didn't know what to say since she had just guessed so I told her that she watched the movie. =D And she did. But heh, he said they didn't mention it in the movie. He gave her a Mentos later.

After that he told us that everything he had been doing was a lie. So we finally started our actual elective module. We played loads of games and did loads of funny stuff over the three days. Apparently, his name is actually Daniel. So we all called him Mr Dan. And he has a Chinese name too. Well, the whole module led up to one thing, which was this speech competition on the third day. Everybody had to participate... I did the topic "Things to do in Singapore" it was pretty ordinary, nothing different really. Carolyn, Wen Hui and this girl called Shameera won the awards. I won a certificate of participation. It was really weird because Mr Dan printed his Chinese name.

The teachers gave us mallow blasts after the course. It was so SUPER fun because Mr Dan was really funny and no matter how shy somebody was, everybody would participate. All for the kit kat's i think. Hahaha
