Date ; Wednesday, May 30, 2007 Time ; 7:29 PM Title ; Birthday present outing! After training today, Alethea met us in the hall and we went to change. The toilet's were all full so we gave up waiting and went behind the curtain's on stage to change. Sarah's father took us to The Heeren and we walked across to Cineleisure and we bought movie tickets to Shrek 3! Like, sneak preview man! It cost us $1.50 more than a normal ticket but still. After that we walked to Ngee Ann City and we ate lunch at McDonalds. I wanted to get another pair of Shrek ears but Sarah didn't get the sms! Wasted. I ate McNuggets and then after that we went to Kino and Alethea went to find her Mai Hime. She forced me to pay a bit for it for her birthday present. And WOW. The a bit was like, $14! She paid for the rest herself. After that we went to Grammophone where they were having a 20% off storewide. I was planning on making her get the John Tucker Must Die DVD for me but I wasn't sure it would work so I ended up getting the I Sony Ericsson Simply Nice Songs Compilation. I apparently owe her a $1 Christmas present. We rushed back to Cine after that to catch the 2.30pm movie. We were like, 20 minutes early so we had to wait outside. I've never been to that level before and it was really dark. Anyway, we finally went to the theatre and the seats were comfy! They were like, super soft. And the movie theatre was super small. But I noticed that there were a lot of caucasian's around. The movie was really cute!! I absolute LOVE the Dronkeys!!! I preferred the other two movies to this one though. I think Artie is kind of cute. But still girly. Bah. He could pass off as Prince Charming's son actually. Ew. After the movie we went to More Than Words for a while and then took neoprints. Twice only. Yay. Haven't divided it yet. Sarah looked really shocked in all of them... Don't worry! She will gain experience as she goes out more. After the neoprints we went to the arcade. And Alethea being well, Alethea, went to play DOA. Sarah too. I was stranded there watching. After I dragged Sarah away, I raced with her. I beat her! Yay! Then we played air hockey. She beat me 7-5. Then I bought some gummies and then we went back to DOA. I tried playing. I only got past the second level. I don't know HOW Alethea does it. She's really good. After a while, we noticed it was like, late already, so we started rushing to Taka and Wisma. Sarah and I went to the Aquarium in Wisma and then walked to Shaw Centre and then her dad sent me home. Yay!
Date ; Time ; 7:15 PM Title ; HOLIDAYS! Well, the holidays have officially started! I've gone out twice already, and I haven't got NEAR my homework. Should get started. There's really a lot to do. Anyway, went out with Yin Ling and Carolyn yesterday... I was supposed to meet Yin Ling and Carolyn at 12 in school. But being me, I was early. By like, 15 minutes. So I waited for like, ever. And I looked really extra in my normal clothes. Well, Yin Ling came out late but at least it wasn't that late. We went to Taka first and ate some lunch at Yoshinoya. Stupid me forgot that there was a KFC and McDonalds there. I was forced to eat Japanese food. Actually, it wasn't that bad. Anyway, we went shopping after that. I got a few people presents and then we went to Cineleisure. We were going to the toilet and while looking for it, Carolyn, having such sharp eyes saw Mrs Low coming out from the lift in Cine and go ot Famous Amos to eat cookies. We were like, OMG! Hide Yin Ling(she was the only one in school uni)! When she was busy buying we quickly scurried down the escalator and to the toilet. We took neoprints like, three tiems, making all of us nearly broke. Why am I such a neoprint addict? It makes me bankrupt. Anyway, we did that. And it was quite nice I think. I should really find time to scan my neoprints in. After neoprints, we went to Heeren since we were so bored. We walked around the little alleys and I tried to find a handphone or MP3 pouch to hold mine in. And I only found a handphone pouch but I love it! It's completely pink. My Ipod couldn't fit in, and my handphone did, after a bit fo a struggle. I later found out it was because of the key chains. Sheesh. Afterthat we went to Orchard MRT. Carolyn and I went to popular for a while and then I went home.
Date ; Time ; 7:06 PM Title ; Booby on down! I never realised until last Saturday how sick-minded my juniors really are. But I do feel that I have to blame myself a little. Well, last Saturday was Alethea's birthday party. When I got there, the people there already were playing Xbox. This Shrek 2 game. After that, we played some DOA and then ate lunch. There was a LOT of food. But the sausages with cheese inside were super good! We played Doa again, then went swimming. Actually, played badminton for like, five minutes first. Then we went to the pool. So we started playing with water balloons. Since everyone was throwing them around, Yin Ling swam around and picked them up, and what? Threw them into her swimming costume. Yes. Into. And soon enough, I started doing it too since everybody kept trying to hijack my water balloons. But they would all fall out when I swam. Anyway, Sarah joined us soon. And Yin Ling would teach Sarah how to do the booby catwalk. And they'd dive at any water balloon that came out. I ended with three, Sarah with 20 something and YIn Ling with 20 something too. It was really funny but really gross, I'm appalled!! We went up later and I bathed, we ate the birthday cake and played more DOA, then they played this crashing car game, and then Shrek, and then DOA again. I was the second last to to leave.
Date ; Time ; 6:50 PM Title ; Mr Mentos and the three elective modules Yes, the people in my group were lucky when we chose our elective module. Everybody only got one, but us, we got three. Geography, History and Communication Skills. And of course, we got kit kats and Mentos' too. Well, on the first day, Sydney, Yan Hong, Justine, Jolie and I had to greet a man who claimed that his name was "Mr Mentos". I could tell that people were trying hard to contain their laughter. After the greeting, he stared at his paper and said,"What elective module is this? Oh yes, Geography." Then he started asking people where they thought he came from. People gave the weirdest answers ever like, India. Well he later asked me and yay, he was from UK. So he gave me a Mentos. Sydney tried to steal it from me. Then he started drawing a map on the board which had eyes and legs and hands. Then he started making us guess which part of the UK he stayed in. After a while, nobody could gues it. Then he looked at his paper, and was like,"Oh wait! This is the wrong elective module! It's History! And he started saying something about how a ship left that place about a 100 years ago and crashed into a iceberg and sank(it's the Titanic in case you didn't know). Then Vera guessed Southhampton. And he asked her how she knew. She didn't know what to say since she had just guessed so I told her that she watched the movie. =D And she did. But heh, he said they didn't mention it in the movie. He gave her a Mentos later. After that he told us that everything he had been doing was a lie. So we finally started our actual elective module. We played loads of games and did loads of funny stuff over the three days. Apparently, his name is actually Daniel. So we all called him Mr Dan. And he has a Chinese name too. Well, the whole module led up to one thing, which was this speech competition on the third day. Everybody had to participate... I did the topic "Things to do in Singapore" it was pretty ordinary, nothing different really. Carolyn, Wen Hui and this girl called Shameera won the awards. I won a certificate of participation. It was really weird because Mr Dan printed his Chinese name. The teachers gave us mallow blasts after the course. It was so SUPER fun because Mr Dan was really funny and no matter how shy somebody was, everybody would participate. All for the kit kat's i think. Hahaha
Date ; Saturday, May 26, 2007 Time ; 9:58 PM Title ; Open House '07 This was actually my first year helping with the Open House instead of just attending it. It wasn't as fun as I had anticipated because most of the time I was slacking off in the hall, waiting for people to come to the badminton booth. Well, I didn't do that much really, I manned the booth for about 1 hour first, then I went around the school with Elena and Yin Ling, I showed them the Sec 1 room where I helped to decorate it stuff! =D Yin Ling and I bought some bubble tea and then went to the Khoo Audi to watch the Choir performance. I saw Sha, Julia and Kelly on stage! Woot! I tried to make them laugh, didn't work. Heh. I sold most, actually all of my CIP cards to my juniors and a few to these random adults. One of the reasons why I managed to sell my ugly handmade cards was because it was for charity. Thank goodness I knew what the charity was or I would sound so stupid saying things like,"I don't know what charity I'm collecting this money for. I just want my damn CIP hours." But it is all for a good cause and I think we earned a total of $63 profit! Yay! Ate loads of sweets, played loads of badminton, with people from other schools and with schoolmates like Sydney, Alanna and Tisa. Mr Lao got dunked at the dunking machine! I got a picture of it on my phone. Don't know how to load it onto the computer sadly. Doesn't work. After spending like, three hours there(my shift was for four hours), I finally realised that nobody ELSE was following their duty so Alethea(Tan) and I went down and watched random people being dunked. Then she wanted to get an SC shirt so we went to the amphitheatre. There was only ONE shirt left though, and it was in large. But she ended up buying it anyway. What love for SC, even though she isn't even in the school. We hear ai dao playing and we started to sing along. Haha... We walked around school together and then we had to go later. Mum brought me home. Ate some Maggi Mee and finally watched another episode of Hana Kimi. It had been a while.
Date ; Friday, May 18, 2007 Time ; 7:50 PM Title ; Yes, everything's my fault. I pass you the message and it's my fault you didn't hear it properly? I'm sorry that you're partially deaf and that you don't even want to speak to me. So why should I tell you? It's not like you're even going to listen right? Then you go ahead and complain to my mother. Have you forgotten what YOU have done yourself? Huh? Now get us both scolded. So smart. Now it's still all my fault. I wish I wasn't related to you. Then I won't have to live with you. It really makes my heart ache having you as a sister. And not in a good way. Sana mu mu(ma ma?) tai kana.
Date ; Time ; 7:25 PM Title ; To talk some more. Bored bored bored. So I'll tell you what happened during the last few days... Played taboo during the double period english class. It was super fun! Our group was called "Pssst", thanks to the wonderful game we learned to play in Malacca. Whenever we won a point, we would go "Pssst". And we WON! YAY! But we don't get anything from it... :( Megan's birthday was on Wednesday!! HAPPY BELATED BDAY MEGGIE! We sang her the birthday song in four languages about twice I think... =) I've been exchanging seats with Mao now a days to sit with Meggie during lesson. We played tic tac toe today... And Meggie brought like, 800g of Famous Amos No Nut Chocolate Chip cookies on Wednesday! We helped her finish one packet during recess. Whenever somebody came by, we would quickly hide it. Because we know that people would always ask, even if they don't even know us that well... Tomorrow's Open House. Stayed back today to help the teacher's set up their booths for tomorrow with Cherri and Siew Yun. At about 3+ we went to the canteen to eat lunch but there was no food for us to eat eat. So we just bought a whole load of snacks. Then we went to the badminton board to help. But then they had just about finished... There were all these chalk drawings on the floor of shuttlecocks! But people kept stepping on them so they are sort of fading away. We have to redo it tomorrow. I put my medal in the cabinet and walked around a bit. Then I saw Deborah leaving so I told her to wait for me. But she didn't. :( And I just missed the 156. But it didn't take that long for it to come again. Got off the bus, saw the bus behind was my blasted sister. Way to ruin my day,
Date ; Time ; 7:04 PM Title ; Short tempered and unreasonable, that's my sister for you. Well, last Sunday it was Mother's Day... My sisters and I got her a pink metal water bottle as she had wanted a metal bottle instead of a plastic one to put in her car. Why? Apparently, the plastic will melt or something fomr the heat of the car and cause breast cancer. So yeah... And it's PINK! Hee hee. We went to eat lunch at Din Tai Fung. I got Famous Amos later and my sister got angry at me because she THOUGHT I didn't offer her any. And when I did, she told me not to shove it in her face. If you want a cookie, then ASK for it. Sheesh. Later that night I went out with my Mum to buy grocceries and breakfast. My mum was looking at Cedele and she told me to get the Chicken pies for my sisters. And there were only two left so I took a chocolate muffin for myself. In the morning, I was eating my chocolate muffin and my sister ate the chicken pie. And she was like,"Why didn't you just get me a chocolate muffin?" How would I know she wanted one? Sibling telepathy? I don't think you know me well enough. So I simply said,"How would I know you want a chocolate muffin?" And she started on rattling about how I should know she would want a chocolate muffin. Well, I DON'T. If you want a chocolate muffin, specify. And because of that, she's been ignoring me for nearly a week. Actually, not really ignoring. More of bitching and muttering away. In the morning, she would walk faster than me on purpose. I did that last time when I was angry at her and I clearly remember her saying,"So it's all just a stupid race isn't it?" And look! She's doing it herself now. Talk about being hypocritical. Then, on Wednesday, I decided to walk as fast as her to spite her. And she once again, went,"It's all just a stupid race isn't it?" Just that this time, she continued with a,"Fine, go walk ahead! Walk faster!" So I turned back to shout something at her, and guess what, her hand connected with my cheek. My first reaction of course was to hit her back. I wish I'd stepped on her toes first. But then, she turned me back and while saying,"Walk faster then! Walk faster!" And then kicked me. If only the handle of the plastic bag containing my newspaper hadn't broken. I attempted to throw it at her but bloody hell, the handle broke. So basically, the next day I left without her since she always takes a hell of a long time to get ready and causes us to be late. And I also cleverly decided to listen to my Ipod. Because knowing her, I knew she would start bitching again once she saw me. True enough, she did, but I did turn my music up a little louder. I only heard like,"I know you can hear me." And the word "car" a few times. In the car, whenever I reached into my pocket and accidentally(or maybe purposely), she would wipe her hand with her jacket. I find that quite pointless because I assume that she IS going to wear that jacket again. I had wanted to slam the door on her when I got out. It's a pity my neighbours were still in the car. Actually, I'm kind of enjoying not talking to her. Gives me more freedom. And it's really fun to spite her. I haven't told me mum what she's done. I wonder what's holding me back...
Date ; Friday, May 11, 2007 Time ; 7:29 PM Title ; HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHA! Today's Farisha's birthday... We sang her the four language birthday songs during Contact time, General Science, recess, History and Math. Yay! Farisha's the most popular one I can tell. Showered by gifts today. During recess, we had a party in the gallery. It was a big party I tell you. Even Ms Cheong and Ms Chan were there! Farisha's mother had brought food to school. Good food mind you. Pizza, chocolate eclairs, cheese cake, Doritos, curry puffs. You name it. People who didn't even know her wanted food. It was super fun though. We did three cheers for her and then we sang her the birthday song again. After all the food was gone, we ran over to the lobby to meet Farisha's mum and sister. Then we ran back. Kelly and I wanted to play badminton, but all the rackets were gone, so we just took a ball and threw it at each other. Then I ran away to the amphitheatre and hid from her. She ran to the primary courtyard and when I looked out, she was on the floor, laughing her head off. Then we started to play soccer(me, sha, kelly and tons of people joined in later). Julia and Charmaine linked arms and walked around the courtyard saying,"We are the goal posts!" It was really fun, because they would stand right in front of us and we'd definitely score. Then we would run around with our arms spread out wide. We ran a lot, so I guess we worked all that food off. Hooray! So we did follow our routine for health in motion!
Date ; Time ; 6:53 PM Title ; To sum everything up... Phew! Haven't blogged in like, two weeks. So I guess I'll try to sum some of the things that happened in here for the past couple of weeks... The one further back in time is Mona's party! HAPPY VERY BELATED BDAY MONA! She had her birthday party on the 28th of April, we watched The Perfect Man, I helped her change her blogskin, played an Amazing race like game, a scavenger hunt... Didn't get to eat any cake because I had to leave early for training :( Later that night I went to the Hard Rock Cafe to have dinner with my cousins who were in Singapore. We ate loads. Lots of desserts. And we watched the Man U vs. I can't remember who game. MAN U WON! Yay! We would be there, cheering when Man U scored, and there was a table near us who were supporting the opposing team. Oops. It was quite fun catching up with them. On Labour Day, I went to Carolyn's House along with Evee and Hui Qi to get newspaper. We collected for a while, then Evee and Hui Qi went to watch Spiderman 3, Carolyn and I ate chicken rice for lunch, collected a bit more, labelled the newspaper, played computer, did homework. And I went home soon. My mum seemed a little pissed that day. But I have no idea why. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO KEVIN! On Sunday it was Anuria's birthday so, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO ANURIA! On Monday, there was this Storytelling competition during Assembly period. All the sec 1 classes had a representative tell a story each. Cynthia told her Mark twain story again. Yay! But I think quite a few people found it very "cheem". While the judges were choosing the winners, they had this random girls come on stage to tell stories and get happy notes. There were the WEIRDEST stories ever. Stories about pink ping pong balls, not being able to tell a secret because your not a monk, ponies not eating from a rainbow coloured apple tree. It was pretty funny though. There was also a clap-o-meter. Which was really fun. CONGRATS TO CYN(for winning Most Creative)! On Wednesday it was Carolyn's birthday. No party though. I got her an Wu Zun magazine with like, a million and one photos of him inside(and Jiro! AH!!). She absolutely loved it. She was hugging me like mad. The class sang her a birthday song nearly every period. In all the four languages. It was quite funny. We'd cheer after singing the english version, then Faeqa and Roopinder and the other malay students would sing it in Malay, then the Chinese sang, and then Gaya would stand up with her hand in the air and start singing it in Tamil, all alone with everybody else clapping along. HAPPY BELATED BRTHDAY TO CAROLYN! Yesterday I was supposed to go out with Farisha, Tisa and Carolyn but Farisha and Tisa couldn't so Megan and Tanya ended up coming along with us. We went to Cine and changed first. Then we had lunch at Burger King and then we went to take neoprints! The first one was an ok machine. The second one was nice but it took pictures way to fast. After taking neoprints Tanya and Megan had to go so it left only me and Carolyn. We went to More than Words and bought people birthday presents. Then we didn't know what to do so we took neoprints again. And I paid for most of it since Carolyn was nearly broke. I like that machine. It's the best with only two people. After that we wanted to go to Sembawang but it was closed, so we walked to Orchard MRT and I topped up my EZ link card and then we went home. I have another post coming, but it's going to be like, longer. Because I want it to be longer. =D |
