Date ; Thursday, April 12, 2007 Time ; 6:25 PM Title ; SC vs Raffles, again Sigh, we are really dao mei aren't we? We should get someone really lucky to draw lots next time. We just had to have Raffles in our group, if not for them, we would have three chances of getting into top 4. Anyway, we played against Raffles on Tuesday... We weren't that hyped up. I mean, we played against them and lost 0-5 last time. We wanted to get at least one point... Ok, so Siew Yun played first singles and lost... Sadly. It was a rubber set! I think she played darn well even though I missed a bit of the second set and the whole of the rubber set. Then I had to line judge the PLMGS vs Nanyang match... It was pretty boring. Except like, once, I saw that the shuttle was out, so I put out, and the Nanyang girls were all complaining. But did I care what they say? I won't listen to them! So I still put out. And they were all whispering away, I could hear. But who cares. Caryl and Kah Yeen played first doubles against... I don't know who. But they lost anyway... :( Then Smily played second singles and I can't remember whether it was good or not but I should think so. I mean, it's SMILY! I played second doubles... Against Jessica Chan and partner! Gah! The ex-head prefect of SC Primary! So duh we lost. Hmm... 15-4, 15-5. Not too bad I guess. But something I seem to be doing very often now a days is MAKE MISTAKES! What is WRONG with me. Mrs Wong called me the Miss Queen last time. Sigh. Pei Fen played third singles, against this girl called Amanda... She's quite good and Pei Fen earned two points in total! Yay! It was quite funny because when Pei Fen lost the first set, Smily went to talk to Amanda and was like, "Good job! Hit out more!" So during the game, she would be like,"Jia you, Amanda! Hit into the net!" or, "You can do it Amanda! Hit out!" Amanda was looking behind, trying to hold in her laughter. Once in a while she would turn back and say,"I'm trying!" After Pei Fen lost, Smily went over to Amanda and Amanda was like,"I really tried!!" But after the competition, we couldn't leave yet because the Nanyang vs PL game was still going on. I thought we didn't have any chance of getting into the top 4 anymore since we lost 5-0 but it turned out that if PL beat Nanyang, then we would still have a chance of getting into the top 4! So obviously we would support PL right? So that was what we did. During the last singles, we were going mad!! And the PL girl was actually quite good so yeah... And then, I heard the Nanyang girl saying,"SC sucks" And I was like,"WTH?" If they had one more chance of getting into Top 4, wouldn't they do the same as us? It's really quite bad how people just say a school sucks because we're not supporting them. Sheesh. Sadly, PL lost. Gosh, I wish they won so they could teach Nanyang a lesson but sigh. There goes our chance of getting into top 4. |
