Date ; Wednesday, April 25, 2007 Time ; 6:42 PM Title ; 3NGLES First of all, A BIG CONGRATS TO CYN(1st in Speakers Team), PEI WEI(2nd in Speakers Team), RUKAYA(2nd or 3rd in Defence Team), TISA(1st in Defence Team), LIN DEE(2nd in Speakers Team, reserve) AND CHARMAINE(5th in Speakers Team)!!! YOU GUYS ARE SO COOL!!! Went to support them today after school at Hwa Chong. Roopinder, Faeqa, Sydney, Jolie and I opccupied the back seat of the bus on the way there and played Hei Bai Pei and the "psst" game just that we changed the "psst" to things like,"busi" and "boingngngngng". Faeqa, Megan, Roopinder, Tiziana, Eunice, Alanna and Evee and I sat apart from the rest of our class because we had to fill the centre first. But it didn't matter. So they had these speakers come up and well, speak. Charmaine was in group 1. I tought they were quite good but they only ended up 5th... They went against Rukaya's defence team... Second was Cyn! Cyn was standing really stiffly at first but she speaks well. A bit accented I guess. Third was Pei Wei... She speaks well too! YAY! We watched a Mime performance put up by SC and we saw Anuria, Nive and Justine! It was quite funny. There was the impromptu speech part then, and after listening to Charmaine, Pei Wei and Cyn's speeches, Faeqa and I started playing hei bai pei because we didn't really care about the rest of the teams. We cheered like mad whenever any GY girl got on stage. The impromptu speech was all about cards. But most of the groups pretty much said the same thing. After that, they had some Nanyang girls come on stage and do a story telling. One was ok, the other was ok too. Something eyes going to a tree, bop, eyes come back, bop. Or something like that. Then we waited quite a long while for the judges to come. We went around a bit and talked to Pei Wei... Later this Hwa Chong guy chased us back to our seats. Then we asked Ms Sie if we could join our other classmates and we went to sit next to Sydney. Then there was the prize giving, and we cheered and screamed, the SC way. Most of the guys were covering their ears and going "WAH LAO EH!" But we really didn't care... We were all holding hands before they annouced the top 3 we were all like,"Pei Wei and Cyn are in top 2, Pei Wei and Cyn are in Top 2"... And it was so cool!! After Cyn got her prize she pumped her fist in the air... YAY! Walked to the bus stop with Megan, Megan left almost immediately, saw Pei Wei and Cyn, talked to Cyn for a while at the bus stop then my bus came. The things I would do for gummies really. There was thunder and lightning just now but I really wanted my gummies so I went down anyway... Sigh. CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU AGAIN!

Date ; Monday, April 23, 2007 Time ; 7:22 PM Title ; How to be a good cockroach? Went to the ACM last Thursday. We let out at like, 1.46, so Cyn and I ran to the canteen and I bought food and started munching it down. Cynthia was telling me about how you take in more air when you gobble down food but I was too rushed to listen properly. We ran to the lobby and there was hardly anybody there. Great. On the bus there, I was supposed to sit with Faeqa but Roopi didn't have a place so she was going to sit next to me, when Faeqa was like,"NO!! Miranda's sitting next to me!" But Roopi was like, "Ai yah", then sat down next to Faeqa. So I was all alone. We played some Psst game on the way there, then I taught Faeqa how to play hei bai pei and we were playing and laughing like maddos because Faeqa kept losing. Then Hui Qi came over and played with Faeqa so I just watched them for the rest of the journey. When we got there, we split into 2 groups, register 1-21 in one group and register 22-38 and some other people from other classes in the other. We had Ms Cheong following us! Yay! Anyway, I partnered Sydney and we just went around the museum. At first there was nothing really interesting. We came to one thing, where the guide was telling us how the had to fill this lamp looking thing with milk and it will always drip down onto this statue. Tiziana was asking all these weird questions like,"What if the milk gets stuck?" and "What if the milk runs out?" There was also one, where the guide was telling us abou the 18 levels of hell in the Chinese culture. He was telling us about how the people got tortured at different levels and how they had to go through the recarnation process. He was telling us that if the person was bad in his past life, he would become like, a cockraoch in his next life. That started the ball rolling for us. We were asking all sorts of questions like,"If you want to become a human in your next life while you're a cockraoch, how do you become a good cockroach?" and "Is the recarnation god dude bad? If he isn't, then why is he in hell?" and "How many times can they be recarnated?" And some questions related to heaven,"Can they be recarnated when they are in heaven?" Then the guy said that heaven was like a paradise. But then we asked,"What if you are in heaven and you want to be recarnated?" Basically, we were this irritating to some of the artefacts. But it was fun really. After the tour, while waiting for other people, we saw this computer where you're supposed to take a picture and then send it through e-card. So Sydney and I took a picture for fun, but we accidentally pressed save image!!! And while it was taking super long to save, the teacher called us over! So we were like, WTH!!! And we had to just leave it there. I wonder if anybody found our picture. On the way back to school, I sat with Faeqa, finally. We were playing hei bai pei when Hui Qi came over and asked to borrow Faeqa's phone because she had to call Roopi because she had forgotten to take her phone back from Roopi's bag. So Faeqa went away for a while and when she came back, we started this mad, mad game of hei bai pei. It was really fun and funny. We were super noisy, screaming and laughing away, tossing our heads here and there, smacking each other. Even when we got back to school and were walking along the corridor in front of Ms Cheong we were playing. Later, while Gorgeous and I were walking to the bus stop together, she told me that Ms Cheong had told her while Faeqa and I were playing hei bai pei that Faeqa is hei and I'm bai and we pei. So cute. Hahaha!!!!
Date ; Time ; 7:14 PM Title ; Newspaper collecting for recycling? No quite. After I found out that a certain class has been buying newspapers off a garang guni man, I figured that this "recycling project" wasn't much for recycling really. I think most people, including me, are actively bringing newspapers to school only because it's a competition and you can earn class points from it. If it weren't for that, many people won't be collecting so actively. Anyway, last Wednesday, after rushing up to the AVA room and finding out there was no English remedial that day, Carolyn and I went to my house so that we could go around collecting newspapers. It was quite a long bus ride home really. When she walked into my room, she nearly went crazy looking at my Hana Kimi posters and DVDs and Soundtrack(I lent her the first DVD by the way), she ate a bit of food and we started off on our adventure. First we went up and down my block, making plenty of stops back home to drop of the laods that we got. Then after finishing my block(which had PLENTY of newspaper by the way, and was the best block), we went over to block 7 and tried to get the newspaper but apparently this garang guni lady comes and collects. So after a while we gave up on that block and tried block 5, didn't get much reception either. So we made one last stop at block 4 but only visited like, 3 houses. But that's where we got a HUGE load. This guy gave us like, 4 plastic bags of newspapers, equivalent to the height of 2/3 a GR stack. From one guy. Gosh. But Carolyn had to go really soon. She helped put the newspapers neatly aside at a corner of my entrance hall. She also took some magazines and then I walked her down to the back gate so she could go home. There were two whole stacks of newspapers + magazines and two big bags of clothes. I can't wait for my mum to come back so I can bring it all to school at one shot. I will see the GR girls' jaws drop. They are going down. Really down.
Date ; Time ; 7:08 PM Title ; Acknowledgement slips Aren't they supposed to be signed by your parents or guardians? Yes, of course. Unless of course they aren't that important and you Mum is away on holiday and won't be back until way after it's due. Well, that's what happened to me like, last Thursday. It was about the 3NGLES thing and wanting us to go watch it. I really want to. OMG. I CAN!! I HAVE NO BADMINTON THIS WEEK!! YAHOO! I can watch Cyn and PW speak now! So fun! Anyway, Mrs Tan said that we had to hand it in by Friday, so I told her that my mum was away and won't be back until... Today. So she was like, do you have any guardian? I could have always gotten my father's but I wouldn't see him until Saturday. So everybody was giving suggestions, like, maid, sister, guardian. So she finally said that just this once, I could ask my sis to sign it. It was really weird. So when I wanted to ask my sis to sign it that day, I was like,"Mummy, can you sign this?" With a big smile of course. It's part of the package. =D
Date ; Time ; 6:36 PM Title ; Sports Day '07 Well, this year wasn't that wonderful a Sports Day I guess... I've had more anjoyable ones, but this was my first Secondary School Sports Day! I got to Toa Payoh Stadium at about 7+ I think. I got to school, sat with Sydney, Tisa and Pei Wei and had to mark attendance... After a while I had to go get ready for marching with Carolyn and Anuria. But Anuria didn't want to because she hadn't attended any marching practices(like Carolyn and I did, but we had training from Prefect marching last year). So while I was standing there, the only GYian as Carolyn had gone to drag Anuria, I found her dragging Sydney instead. The marching really sucked. But I didn't black out! Yay! But I have to say, it was really messy and the Primary School was better than all of us ;P But it finished pretty fast and we got back to our seats soon enough, but after that I had to go collect bottles of water for the class with Carolyn and Sydney. Carolyn went back after a while because we were telling her that they only asked the class reps and she was missing the beginning part of Sports Day, and seeing Tisa run!!!! We were supposed to collect one box and 14 bottles so while we went to count the 14 bottles, I told Sydney to put the bottles into the empty box and take that. But Sydney didn't get that. After unloading some bottles, this girl from a Sec 3 class wanted to take the box which Sydney had been unloading the bottles from, but Sydney picked it up!! Turned out she was unloading the bottles into the other box so that we could take THAT box. It felt very pai seh. We were like,"OOPS." Well we finally distributed everything, we finally got to sit down again. Yay! So we watched these people run... It was quite a while before the Sec 1 4x400m relay. It's quite sad, we were leading at first but we ended up 4th. :( Just missed getting top 3. People were saying that Joanna ran slowly but I didn't think so. There was also the CCA relay, and badminton came in 4th too. And Sydney and I were supporting the handbells for the performing arts later because Alanna was running, and the debaters in our class were cheering for Debate(duh). What they didn't realis though, was that debate wasn't even in that race! They were in the next race, the clubs and societies race. So while they were screaming, the debaters weren't even running. They later had an old girls race and all the 19 year old teachers were running, even Ms Toh! So we were all going like,"Hi Ms Cheong!","Hi Ms Tan!" so on, so on and so on. And they came in first, with my sister later telling me that was because Ms Cheong was the vice-captain in basketball and Ms Tan was captain. But I didn't even see them run because I was busy gathering the class onto the field. :( We all had to squat down on the field and watch the 1SE people and 4PE and 4SE people perform their award winning cheers. All the things I'm in seem to be getting 4th. For the relay, for the class cheer, for badminton. What else? So they had the prize giving and sadly, GY lost the trophy to GR. NEVER MIND! We will beat them in class points and newspaper collection. Watch out world!!!!!!!! I met my sis later and together with Gorgeous, we walked to the MRT along with some other people on the way like Shu Wen, Tisa, Mona... We were trying to figure out which MRT line would be better to take and then switch, so we counted first, then figured we'd take the MRT heading to Marina Bay, stop at City Hall then go back to Clementi. But then we were counting again later, and then they were both the same number of stops, so when we figured that out, the train going to Jurong left. So we waited for the Marina Bay one... On the bus, we played the "hi" game and the balancing game. Gorgeous me and my sis dropped at City Hall and then waited for the MRT heading to Boon Lay. While we were waiting, this prfect came up to us and told us to tuck in our shirts! So after we did so, we walked further away from her. Heh. I was the winner of the balancing game! Yay! When we reached Clementi, Eunice walked back and then my sis and I took the bus home. End of story... =D
Date ; Sunday, April 22, 2007 Time ; 12:23 PM Title ; SC vs. PL Since we already had no chance to get into top 4, we didn't really have that much stress during the game I guess... Anyway, played this game last Thursday(so long ago, I know)... Let's see... Denyse, Sarah, Shu Yin and Ying Yi came to support us... Smily started the game off and she won!! With a rubber set, if I remember correctly. Then, Caryl and Kah Yeen played first doubles... And they won too... I can't remember whether with a rubber set or not. During their game, the two PL girls dived for the same shot, and one girl hit her head really hard. The balaku was really obvious. It must have hurt a lot because she kept pressing her forehead and she looked as if she were going to cry. I would have, being the ceybaby that I am. Anyway, Pei Fen played second singles against this girl who is quite good but I think she played really well even though I didn't see half the match but she lost. Sadly. I played second doubles and I must say, I'm really disappointed with myself for losing. I can't really remember the score anymore but It's just that I know I didn't play well. I made SO many mistakes and I could have honestly beaten that team and won! But nooo... Sigh. Siew Yun played third singles and she lost after a fight too. So yeah. We didn't do too well did we? We lost every single game in the top 8 round. Way to boost my self esteem.
Date ; Thursday, April 12, 2007 Time ; 6:25 PM Title ; SC vs Raffles, again Sigh, we are really dao mei aren't we? We should get someone really lucky to draw lots next time. We just had to have Raffles in our group, if not for them, we would have three chances of getting into top 4. Anyway, we played against Raffles on Tuesday... We weren't that hyped up. I mean, we played against them and lost 0-5 last time. We wanted to get at least one point... Ok, so Siew Yun played first singles and lost... Sadly. It was a rubber set! I think she played darn well even though I missed a bit of the second set and the whole of the rubber set. Then I had to line judge the PLMGS vs Nanyang match... It was pretty boring. Except like, once, I saw that the shuttle was out, so I put out, and the Nanyang girls were all complaining. But did I care what they say? I won't listen to them! So I still put out. And they were all whispering away, I could hear. But who cares. Caryl and Kah Yeen played first doubles against... I don't know who. But they lost anyway... :( Then Smily played second singles and I can't remember whether it was good or not but I should think so. I mean, it's SMILY! I played second doubles... Against Jessica Chan and partner! Gah! The ex-head prefect of SC Primary! So duh we lost. Hmm... 15-4, 15-5. Not too bad I guess. But something I seem to be doing very often now a days is MAKE MISTAKES! What is WRONG with me. Mrs Wong called me the Miss Queen last time. Sigh. Pei Fen played third singles, against this girl called Amanda... She's quite good and Pei Fen earned two points in total! Yay! It was quite funny because when Pei Fen lost the first set, Smily went to talk to Amanda and was like, "Good job! Hit out more!" So during the game, she would be like,"Jia you, Amanda! Hit into the net!" or, "You can do it Amanda! Hit out!" Amanda was looking behind, trying to hold in her laughter. Once in a while she would turn back and say,"I'm trying!" After Pei Fen lost, Smily went over to Amanda and Amanda was like,"I really tried!!" But after the competition, we couldn't leave yet because the Nanyang vs PL game was still going on. I thought we didn't have any chance of getting into the top 4 anymore since we lost 5-0 but it turned out that if PL beat Nanyang, then we would still have a chance of getting into the top 4! So obviously we would support PL right? So that was what we did. During the last singles, we were going mad!! And the PL girl was actually quite good so yeah... And then, I heard the Nanyang girl saying,"SC sucks" And I was like,"WTH?" If they had one more chance of getting into Top 4, wouldn't they do the same as us? It's really quite bad how people just say a school sucks because we're not supporting them. Sheesh. Sadly, PL lost. Gosh, I wish they won so they could teach Nanyang a lesson but sigh. There goes our chance of getting into top 4.
Date ; Saturday, April 07, 2007 Time ; 9:01 PM Title ; Happy belated Good Friday and Happy early Easter! I'm not Christian or anything but who cares? Happy Good Friday!! Yesterday, I woke up at about 10.30 and then I was smsing Sherilyn and then she called me, and she told me, "Meet at the bus stop outside your house at 11.10, ok?" I was like,"WTH??" And so I had to rush like crazy and I finally got to the bus stop on time, just before Sherilyn came. Such good timing, 7 came right after her parents left. On the bus we listened to my Ipod and I stole songs from her phone to put into mine... Sherilyn seriously doesn't know how to use an Ipod! She kept starting the song over and over again... We finally reached Plaza Singapura and then when we were just about to go take neoprints, I suddenly remembered that there weren't anymore neoprint machines! And we had gone to Plaza Sing for the neoprints! Gah! So anyway, Sherilyn changed into her skirt and then we decided to go to Far East instead. Thank god that I know how to go to Far East from Plaza Sing, not. Despite going there before from the same bus stop, I still didn't which one to take, and which stop to stop at. And so we decided to go to Cine and when we saw the bus, we were like,"Can we take that?" And we could, so we ran for the bus... When we saw Cine, and the bus stop near Cine, I was like,"Press the bell! Press the bell!" And then, to my horror, the bus zoomed right past the bus stop!! WTF!!! We ended up stopping at the bus stop opposite Taka. Sigh. So we decided to go to Cine, and I pleasantly FORGOT how to get to Cine. HOW COULD I?? I'M SO DISAPPOINTED WITH MYSELF. So we walked ALL the way to Far East and took neoprints... I don't like the neoprint machines there much... But there was one quite nice one... After taking the neoprints, we went to Orchard MRT and took the MRT to Raffles Place MRT station even though I told Sherilyn that to get to Marina Square, we stop at the City Hall MRT. But I followed her anyway since she seemed so sure. And It ended up being wrong, so we just went back one stop. And whie we were waiting for the MRT to come, Sherilyn noticed that Bill Calhoun was right behind us... So we were whispering away like mad... We were in the same section as him in the MRT... He was wearing sunglasses and a cap, and in bermudas... Anyway, we walked all the way to Marina Square. When we got there, we went to Macs and bought lunch. But we didn't eat there because we wanted to eat at the bowling alley. But when we reached the bowling alley, they were like,"No outside food and drinks". Blah. We walked around, trying to find a place to sit, but as Sherilyn put it, Marina Square is "seat unfriendly". So we ended up standing and eating our lunch. Finally we went bowling... Sherilyn helped me pay a bit because I was practically going broke. Lucky for us, we got the lane in between pro bowlers. We completely embarrassed ourselves but we had fun! I got 72 on the first round and ahem... 54 on the second. I seriously suck at bowling. Sherilyn beat me on the whole... Shocker of shockers! After bowling, we went to the very busy arcade. I was seriously going broke but we played quite a lot of games anyway, Sherilyn insisted on playing her fighting game, so I played, and lost. Duh. I was pressing the buttons anyhow but I still beat ONE of her characters through pressing the buttons randomly... Next we went to the driving games. There were quite a few people playing so we had to wait a while for our turn. When it came to our turn, there was me, Sherilyn and a few other people. I'm so proud of myself, I beat all these other guys and came in first! Hahaha!!! I got off the seat just as Sherilyn told me to stay... Someone immediately took my seat. Sigh. So we went to check to see if the Para Para was empty but there was someone playing, so we went back to the car games. I came in first again and beat the guys! HAHAHA!! In their FACES! We played a few more rounds of car racing and I came in second for one of them, first again... Finally the Para Para was empty. I cannot play for nuts! And I bet I looked like a total freako, jumping all around the place... And there were like, people watching me. What the hell!! I got to like, level 4 or 5 but I looked super weird. After the Para Para, we went to the green, blue and red buttons game. I suck at that game like nuts, but it's super fun. The people who went after us were quite good. It's better if all three people are there because then we won't go against the computer, who rocks at practically everything. Finally, we headed back. We were quite behind time really. We were supposed to be back by 5pm and when we left, it was 4.42 if my memory serves me right. Sherilyn made a stop to buy ice-cream and then we went to the MRT station. I went in to look at where we had to stop, and then I noticed that Sherilyn was still standing outside the MRT station. She was afraid to go in because there was a fine for $500 if you eat or drink in the MRT station. So I went around looking for dustbins but Citylink Mall is "dustbin unfriendly" and so is the MRT station. We finally found this uncle throwing away rubbish. So we threw it in there and then went to the MRT. We listened to my Ipod on the way back... When we got off the MRT, we were tapping our EZ link cards and our earphones dropped out so I just gave her the whole thing. Not give, lent. We took a bus back to my house and then when we got into the house, her mother called and we had to go down again... Long, tiring, walking a lot day... But fun all the same!! I spent so much money!!
Date ; Thursday, April 05, 2007 Time ; 8:35 PM Title ; The end? Today we played against Nanyang... We lost!! ='( We lost 2-3... It was so... Heartbreaking. I honestly thought we could beat Nanyang!! Well, I began the competition helping Ms Beh umpire the RGS vs. PLMGS match... It ended super fast so that was good... While I was umpiring, Siew Yun was playing her first singles... After the umpiring, I immediately had to go line judge for the first doubles for the same match... It was over pretty fast too... Kah Yeen and Caryl had just started playing when I got back I think. They were going agaisnt Jessica and her partner... Siew Yun had lost her match... Caryl and Kah Yeen played super well I think! They beat the first doubles in straight sets!! Yay!! Then Pei Fen played her game. I was honestly quite worried because at the time we first reached Toa Payoh, she was in a bad mood and was ignoring all of us... Even Elisa... So she played, but she played quite okish I guess, but she lost still... Sad... Anyway, I played doubles next... I was partnering Joellyn, against Jessica Tan and her partner... It was darn freaky. I mean, if we lost that match, it would mean that we would definitely lose. I was playing like crazy... I was SUPER nervous because of obvious reasons... But I didn't really like the Nanyang people. They kept complaining on stuff and all. Like, when we wanted to take a break, they said they didn't want to so the umpire didn't let us! And later, when they asked for a break, we said no, but the umpire let them! What the hell? Is the umpire biased or something? Also, when the people smashed, Joellyn dodged it and it was out, and they were like,"Did she touch it?" There was something else too... But I can't remember what it is... Well, we beat them with a rubber set and 2 deuces... The scores were 17-15, 3-15 and 17-16. During the last few points, I was thinking like, if I don't win, I'm going to cry!! It was SO nervewrecking. Both sides were screaming like mad... I kept making so many mistakes throughout the game... Sigh... But I was SO happy when we won! That I started crying... Because like, I was so scared that we were going to lose... At the beginning of the rubber set we were losing 2-8 ok!! So I kept thinking that if I were to lose, I would cry, and when I won I started crying! I was so happy!!!!! So Smily was third singles, and both sides were cheering like mad because that was the deciding match. I guess it must have been a lot of pressure on Smily... And Smily can't play under pressure... And besides, it was the other girl's birthday today so Lady Luck must be on her side. The shuttle was an Ashaway one so Smily kept hitting really hard, and everything was going out and the girl had good judgement so... Sigh... I was so sad after the game I was crying. But only for a while. I should be quite happy I guess. We shook hands with all the people in Nanyang... We didn't have time to go to the canteen and had to leave immediately. But we couldn't see the bus and we saw a vending machine instead. But I didn't have enough coins. I wanted to get a Lemonade but Ms Beh had only 90 cents in coins so I got a coke instead. I just needed some sugar to make me feel better. The others didn't seem too upset about the loss really... All the singles lost, and the doubles won... Sigh. We have to go against RGS and PLMGS next. Is there really a chance, even the slightest one, of us getting into the top 4? I don't mean to be pessemistic, but honestly, I don't think so... This is so depressing.
Date ; Tuesday, April 03, 2007 Time ; 4:12 PM Title ; Last peer leading session =( Today was our last peerleading session... It was the most fun though... When we came down from science, the peerleaders were telling us,"bring your chairs and go to the gallery!!" So we were like, "did we hear them right?" I suppose we did as later, we played Musical Chairs. I was in the like... Top 10 or Top 12 or something lah. Can't remember... Gorgeous won first. During the musical chairs, they were singing all these songs... Like the class cheer, ABC, the Barney Song and True Colours(Faeqa's favourite song!). After the Musical Chairs, we got into our peerleading groups(mine is Alanna, Mao, Manizah, Wen Qian, Nive and me) and played broken telephone. The sentence was,"A big, black bug bit a big black bear and made the big black bear bleed." I had to repeat it like, three times before Manizah finally understood it. We came in second... Last. After that we played charades... Not the exact same way as normal... It was a modified version. The last girl would find out the charades thing and then she'd do it to the person in front of her, then that person in front of her would do it to the person in front of her, so on and so forth until the last person(me!) who has to do the action and guess what it is. The action Alanna gave was like, a person holding a microphone. And we were supposed to figure out the exact person. I made a wild guess and said Britney Spears and what do you know? I was right! Gosh I'm good! Haha... We all sat in a HUGE circle after that and we had a mini party. There were Ruffles, Twisties, Lays, sweets, marshmallows and more! We ate and ate... But didn't eat that much really. Then afer that we got into our peerleading groups again... That was nothing much really. It was much quieter than usual. We just ate more. Finally it was over... Georgina said we have to write back to her. What to write, what to wirte?
Date ; Monday, April 02, 2007 Time ; 6:15 PM Title ; At least We're in the Top 8... Today we went against Dunman High... At first I thought I'd be having my usual partner but noooo... Mrs Wong decided to partner me with Pei Fen! I'm not complaining or anything, I mean, I'd rather partner Pei Fen on a normal day but in competition?? I wouldn't think of it. I mean, we don't communicate that well during games. Anyway, Smily was the first single and she lost... =( Then me and Pei Fen played. Oh my god, we were up against the Dunman twins! I mean, I didn't mean to be pessemistic or anyting but honestly, I didn't think we'd do that well. If I was partnering Joellyn, maybe we had some chance but I honestly can't partner Pei Fen for nuts!! We couldn't communicate and she kept complaining about how she couldn't play that day. I wasn't doing so well either, but I don't think we should complain, we should keep a positive mindset. Anyway, we lost miserably, 0-15, 1-15. God. I was SO disappointed in myself that I was like crying like mad!! I didn't stop crying until like, the third singles second set. Nearly everyone tried to comfort me. I don't know what's wrong with me! I just cry so easily. I can't help it. Anyway, Caryl played third singles and she lost... But she played very well I think. Then, Kah Yeen and Joellyn played second doubles and won quite easily. Even Pei Fen and I could beat them I think. All that really happened was that Kah Yeen would serve, the girl would lift, and then "POW!" goes the shuttle, and they'd earn the point. Siew Yun played third singles and she lost too... But she played well too! So overall... We lost 1-4. And then we had to do the draw and what LUCK we have. We're in the same group as RGS, Nanyang and Paya Lebar. Elisa was saying that this is the end. But NO!!! Don't think bad thoughts! SC can win!! Go SC!!! MUST BEAT!!! |
