Well today we had the CNY celebrations in school. I had to be in school by 6.50am to collect the mandarin oranges to give to our form and co-op teachers. Then I went to class, gosh, my choice of clothes should not be worn again!! Everybody was calling me Ms Kee today. Gah. And they were like, Miranda's so skinny... Nooo... Actually, it's good that I'm skinny. But slim is a nicer term.

Anyway, we went to the courtyard for assembly. It was the whole school together, including the Primary Schoolers that means. It was pretty packed. A lot of people started to laugh during Flag-raising because the Primary schoolers(Primary one's and two's lah) were singing so ADORABLY!! I held myself in until the last few words of the pledge. After flag-raising, we had a performance from the Prefects for Economic defence and then Mrs Low talked to us, then we watched this Lion dance. It was kind of cool because it was done by Professionals instead of the Gym girls. The guy could throw oranges damn far lor. But one orange hit the second floor wall and then fell back to the courtyard. After that, the class reps and prefects went to their teachers and gave them oranges. That means Sydney and I. It was kind of fun really. There was also a performance by the Chinese Scholars.

After that we went back to class but Mrs Tan said we had to go to the hall for the CNY concert. It's pretty weird because not everybody was there and when we went in, they had already started, and we also left after the band performance. The concert was nothing interesting except that we saw Georgina on stage! She's the best peer leader ever! She gave us marshmallows for VDay! :D

Back at class, we had to do some spring cleaning, you know, neatening our desks, wiping the whiteboard, sweeping the floor... After that, we went around schools to these booths set up by some Primary 6 and Sec 4 girls. I went to the Gy one first of course. I saw Heem Hian and took a picture with her and then played the game against Megan. I won! Haha... Manizah also tried against Anuria but Manizah gave up halfway through and this girl came and helped her and then "Manizah" won.

We then went to the 4PE I think... I was blindfolded and had to try this New Year goodie. It was a Pomelo and to me, it tasted kind of gross because it was squishy and all. By then, it was 5 of us going around together, Manizah, Megan, Roopinder and Anuria. We then played a game from 4SY I think. We had to blow this Ping pong ball from a cup filled with water to another cup filled with water all the way to the end. I got a chocolate after that! Anuria did it too. We later had a lucky dip and got a fortune cookie each. Mine was something like, in your good mood, things will come to you one by one or something like that. The last one we went to was this thing where you throw ping pong balls into the egg carton thing. I got a hong bao with sweets inside and I DROPPED IT. I'm so heartbroken!!

Anyway, we went back to class after that and we did some school stuff and then we were given Kit Kat's! Yay!
