Bah. Today we played against Raffles(duh, who else??) for the 1st place in the South Zone and guess, guess! We lost. Sad huh? We lost pretty bad too... Anyway, I had to get to school at like, 6.30 in the morning but I was surprisingly energetic. We got to the bus and man it was comfy, it's good sleeping material but I didn't sleep.

We got to the stadium and Raffles was there first so they choped seats first. =( We just sat across them. Then we warmed up and then Mummy(Heem Hian) tied our hair till it was really cute. I have a picture of my head, I'll load it up with the other pictures when I have the time. We stroked around and before we knew it, the competition started.

We lost first singles, second singles and third singles... We lost first doubles and second doubles.... So basically we lost 0-5. I lost quite miserably really. I think it was like 1-15, 1-15. Or something. I can't remember. I might have lost love... I don't actually WANT to remember. Before the game, I was line-judging. I only got off line-judging when the second singles ended so I didn't have time to warm up. All through out the game I was freezing and I couldn't concentrate properly. Especially when there was a whole level and sec 4 prefects screaming really shrilly. But I really can't complain can I?

The 'B' Div lost too. But they played a better game than us, I feel. There were like, 2 games with rubber sets. After all that there was the prize-giving, guess who our guest-of-honour was? Mrs Low!! Our principal! Mrs Low's actually quite nice... She bought us these little sweet things that are really nice. Those type of melt in your mouth thing. I took pictures of them! This year we didn't get any trophy. Only a medal but hey, it's better than nothing!

We went back to school and had lunch. Pei Fen, Elisa, Antje and I played dodgeball and hula-hooped in the Primary School hall. Finally we went back to class and when I went into my class, they apparently all knew the results already and Mrs Tan made them clap for me and I was sort of like, "Whoa..." LOVES 1GY'07! I sat next to Cyn for the rest of school. It was fun really. Tizi was sitting with Megan. Got our class shirt today. Blah. It looks sort of weird to me but my sis says it's nicer than hers. Ah well.

That's actually what I took, plus a few more. My mum didn't allow me to take that many as we're supposed to be well, eating during the reunion dinner. =D

On Monday, I visited 2 houses. The first one I went to was Aunty Lee Chin's house. Sarah wasn't there so we sort of just sat there and ate, and talked to Aunty Lee Chin. It was kind of sad because I had a cold and was feeling really lethargic.

Anyway, after that, we went all the way to the east to Aunty Joyce's mother's house. When We got out of the car, it was raining so we took down the umbrella's. I shared with mum and my sister's shared one. But of course, my second sister didn't like the way my biggest sister was holding the umbrella and of course, my biggest sister didn't care so they fought. And my second second had accidentally taken down the bag that Aunty Lee Chin had given us, thinking it was for Aunty Joyce's mother but my biggest sister had that so my mother told her to put it back into the car and my sister was like,"I didn't know she gave it to us". So anyway, my mum scolded my sister and my sister threw a tantrum. Gosh.

We waited till Aunty Joyce, Uncle Phillip, Jasmine and Timothy came before we started on dinner. Aunty Joyce's mother is supposed to be famous for her popiah and that is just what we ate that night. It's really fun to make popiah's... It would have been like, 100% fun but my second sister was still throwing a tantrum so that brings the thing down by like, 3%. Haha. When I was on my third, my mum was still struggling with her second. Oh yeah, Timothy got full by the third and I finished by the fourth so I'm like, the winner! And Timothy could not believe it. Haha!!!

After dinner, my biggest sister, Jasmine, Timothy and I sat behind the dining table and played card games. They tried to teach me how to play Tahiti but we only played one round of that before we played bridge. We played many many rounds of that. When it was 7, Jasmine was like, "migrate!" and she changed the channel and we watched Hana Kimi. It's quite funny really, and thanks to her, I'm watching it too! Gah. Anyway, after a while we stopped playing Bridge as Jasmine would be so focused on the TV she would be like, really blur.

After Hana Kimi we watched this Chinese show and then we changed to Amazing Race All Stars later. Jasmine saw this FHM magazine on the table and she took it to look through and it was like, gross so both of us were like, squealing away. When it was 9, I started bugging my sis to change to Channel 8 so I could watch my 9 o'clock show but she wouldn't so I was realy depressed. Anyway, after amazing race, when we were about to leave, my mum suddenly pointed out to me that they had been watching the 9 o'clock show in the room OPPOSITE. I wanted to scream!!

Yesterday, we went shopping in the early afternoon. We went to Wisma first and then to Tangs. But actually, it's not much because I didn't buy anything! Gah. After the shopping, we went home for a while and I lazed around doing nothing until we woke my mum up and went to Aunty Lee Chin's house again.

Sarah was here this time. And so was a lot of people. We went upstairs straight away and when we got to Sarah's room, there were 2 other people there too called Ben and Rachel I think. Rachel's a year younger than me and Ben's like, 4 years older than me. Rachel and Sarah finished a game of Chinese Chess first and then we(as in all the people in that room) talked a lot. Mostly about school though. Actually, I think it's all about school! Finally, Ben and Rachel had to go so we all went downstairs and the rest of us took some food and we went outside and ate. Then we looked at the fishies. We saw guppies and coy's so we were like, what if they cross-breed? They would be called goy's or cuppy's! We went home soon after...

6 days to Malacca trip!!

I went to Auntie Joyce's house yesterday... It took us like, 40 minutes to get there and my mum was saying that her house is getting further and further away from us... Haha... We finally got there and we went to their house, duh.

We ate some food first and then we sat around awkwardly Uncle Phillip told us to join all the other kids in the room. When we went in, they were playing bridge so we just watched till they finished the game. There were like, 11 people inside the room. All except 2 which were older than me. It's quite funny because all the girl's were on one side of the bed and the guy's on the other. We played heart attack quite a few times and I won like, twice? After that we started on a game of Bullshit(bluff). Only jie managed to finish her deck but then the others all had to go so we just followed them out.

We sat around the table and ate crackers with cream cheese on it. It's really good!! Then after some more people came, we migrated to the living room and watched this chinese show while snacking and talking more. We then went to HBO and watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We were watching this advertisment and my mum was talking about George Clooney when Jasmine asked, "Who's George Clooney?" and my mum was like,"You don't know George Clooney?? He's the guy in Ocean's Seven!" and we were all like,"Ocean's Seven?!? It's Ocean's Eleven!" And everybody erupted in laughter.

A little while later, we came across another advertisment and it was advertising a movie with Katie Holmes in it and started my mum talking about Tom Cruise. She said something like,"Katie Holmes and Tom Jones". Again, everybody was like,"Tom JONES? It's Tom Cruise!!" My mum gets really mixed up sometimes!!

We went home not much later...

Yesterday, I found my new love for fortune cookies... I just saw them in the super market so I got a box of them. And now I can't stop eating them! I've gotten loads of fortunes but I can't remember all. Here are the one's I remember:

Just came back from my grandaunt's house. I really can't believe myself this year. It must be the zodiac sign that's making not only me, but my whole family pig out like, well, pigs! We bought all out goodies a week before New Year, and we finished all the gummies by Friday. So we had to buy another box of gummies. And we started on it already. Haha...

Anyway, yesterday I went to have lunch with my father's side of the family. We went to a restaurant and had Yu Sheng and well, Chinese food. It wasn't much except a certain somebody was in a grumpy mood because I accidentally slammed her room door and thought I was throwing a tantrum because she had started muttering under her breath(nothing new about that). So after the lunch, she conveniently didn't tell us that she didn't want to be in the same car as my sister and I and took public transport home, making EVERYBODY worried. I could tell my father was really irritated with her. I would be too.

We got home, and then we went out with my mother even though she wasn't back because my sister and mum believed that she wouldn't be so stupid to do stupid things. But doing what she did is already counted as a stupid thing to me. Anyway, we went to IMM and walked around finding stuff because we felt like buying clothes(I wanted a nice pair of jeans with cute back pockets, printed tees and more) but didn't get anything in the end, sadly. We had some tea at The Coffee Club and then went shopping at Giant. We topped up on a few more new year goodies since we ate like, a fifth of it already.

We went home and rested for a while, took a bath and then we prepared for out reunion dinner, the usual steamboat. My sisters took really long to get ready so my mum was quite pissed at the beginning of the dinner. I'm the innocent party! Haha... Even though it was really awkward at the beginning, it cooled down in the end and we were laughing! Yay! We settled down in the living room and ate some gummies and stuff before finally deciding to go to Holland Village to eat Haagan Daaz(sp?).

We ate a cookie crunch and a Macadamia Nut Crunch in less than 10 minutes. To think we all said that we were full before that. After eating we went home and just lazed around and then when it came to new year I smsed some people, to those I didn't sms, HAPPY NEW YEAR! =D Shortly after I went to sleep.

I woke up at about 9 this morning and bai nianed to my mum. We didn't have much time so it was pretty rushed. We then went to our grandparent's house and my sister murdered this man on the computer. Haha... It was this little man on the cursor who's really irritating. We sat down and ate Pringles and drank Coca Cola light(with that drink, you're basically drinking water and chemicals). Kevin was super high and I think he could be a Moving person. He was running around the place, moving statues, plants and what nots around the house and placing them somewhere else. My sisters, Alistair and I had to follow him around, putting things back and preventing him from taking anything else.

Then we went to our Grandaunt's house which was seriously boring. Kevin was scared of Samantha(the cat). I played Nature Park on my sister's phone and listened to my Ipod. I ate more Pringles and had some ice-cream and apple juice. Then went home and here I am now! =D

First of all, I'd like to wish everybody a Happy New Year! The year just zoomed right by and now it's the year of the Pig!

I must say that last year was a very fulfilling one. It was my best year in Primary School for many reasons! One of the few is winning the South Zone championship(again) and then winning third for the seniors and second for the juniors. Even I had quite an acheivment for myself, not losing any match in the South Zone and losing only 2 in the Nationals.

Another thing I'm happy with is being a Prefect. I still remember when in P4, I didn't make teh cut, I was really, really sad and yes, I went home and cried. And then the year after, I made it! I must thank everybody who voted for me!! =D Being a prefect has been one of the most enjoyable things ever in my LIFE(not that my life has been very long). I made tons of friends, though younger than me, I got many experiences from this and of course, loads of perks! I'm glad I finally got to march during National Day.

PSLE. Probably the majorest(no such word, trust me on this) thing that year. All the mugging... And of course, I LOVED the results. I seriously did not expect it but I'm glad it turned out that way. Because now I'm in the awesomest(no such word either) class ever! I'm glad all my studying had paid of. It was seriously nervewrecking. Going days without a computer... -Shivers-

Those were the major events I guess. I loved every part of that year(except maybe the PSLE part... Haha). I really miss all you guys who went to different schools and I hope this year brings you good luck and prosperity!

After school today I went with Eunice to Henry Park for fun, just to look around. I wasn't planning to at all, but Eunice was like, come lah! Come!! At the bus stop, at least half the people were from Henry Park and I found out Eunice's nickname from one of her classmates who is in SJI. I was just like, "What's her nickname again?" The bus was completely crowded and guess what! Eunice's brother's friend is my sister's classmate and kindergarten friend! Talk about small worlds.

It was pretty weird going to Henry Park really. I can explain why. Eunice saw all her friends there and they would be like,"Who's that?" A few of them said I looked very familiar and I have no idea why!! Eunice showed me around the school and one of her friends is quite nice, she doesn't even know who I am but she gave me a hong bao anyway.

I didn't stay for that long because I felt a little weird. I mean, I've never been to a school with guys, and also Eunice seemed to need to do some catching up with her friends... So yeah. I freaking walked home from there.

Well today we had the CNY celebrations in school. I had to be in school by 6.50am to collect the mandarin oranges to give to our form and co-op teachers. Then I went to class, gosh, my choice of clothes should not be worn again!! Everybody was calling me Ms Kee today. Gah. And they were like, Miranda's so skinny... Nooo... Actually, it's good that I'm skinny. But slim is a nicer term.

Anyway, we went to the courtyard for assembly. It was the whole school together, including the Primary Schoolers that means. It was pretty packed. A lot of people started to laugh during Flag-raising because the Primary schoolers(Primary one's and two's lah) were singing so ADORABLY!! I held myself in until the last few words of the pledge. After flag-raising, we had a performance from the Prefects for Economic defence and then Mrs Low talked to us, then we watched this Lion dance. It was kind of cool because it was done by Professionals instead of the Gym girls. The guy could throw oranges damn far lor. But one orange hit the second floor wall and then fell back to the courtyard. After that, the class reps and prefects went to their teachers and gave them oranges. That means Sydney and I. It was kind of fun really. There was also a performance by the Chinese Scholars.

After that we went back to class but Mrs Tan said we had to go to the hall for the CNY concert. It's pretty weird because not everybody was there and when we went in, they had already started, and we also left after the band performance. The concert was nothing interesting except that we saw Georgina on stage! She's the best peer leader ever! She gave us marshmallows for VDay! :D

Back at class, we had to do some spring cleaning, you know, neatening our desks, wiping the whiteboard, sweeping the floor... After that, we went around schools to these booths set up by some Primary 6 and Sec 4 girls. I went to the Gy one first of course. I saw Heem Hian and took a picture with her and then played the game against Megan. I won! Haha... Manizah also tried against Anuria but Manizah gave up halfway through and this girl came and helped her and then "Manizah" won.

We then went to the 4PE I think... I was blindfolded and had to try this New Year goodie. It was a Pomelo and to me, it tasted kind of gross because it was squishy and all. By then, it was 5 of us going around together, Manizah, Megan, Roopinder and Anuria. We then played a game from 4SY I think. We had to blow this Ping pong ball from a cup filled with water to another cup filled with water all the way to the end. I got a chocolate after that! Anuria did it too. We later had a lucky dip and got a fortune cookie each. Mine was something like, in your good mood, things will come to you one by one or something like that. The last one we went to was this thing where you throw ping pong balls into the egg carton thing. I got a hong bao with sweets inside and I DROPPED IT. I'm so heartbroken!!

Anyway, we went back to class after that and we did some school stuff and then we were given Kit Kat's! Yay!

Yesterday was not only the semis against St Marg's, it was also Antje's birthday and someone gave her a Baby Eeyore speaker. It was SO cute and Elisa fell in love with it, she tried to dunk his head into the toilet bowl and caused Antje to go mad. I also played basketball with Elisa with the baby Eeyore.

Ms Beh called us to go to the canteen and I just hung around as usual. Then later went to call Siew Yun, Pei Fen and Cherri to go eat lunch(they had been decorating their class for CNY). While Pei Fen and I were walking slowly back to the canteen, Elisa suddenly ran to us with Joje with her and we stuffed it into Pei Fen's bag.

When we went back to the canteen, Elisa told Antje that she dumped Eeyore into the dustbin. Antje was like,"WHERE IS IT??" and was like,"I'm going to cry..." We had to go board the bus so Elisa and I grabbed Pei Fen's bag and ran ahead and boarded the bus, then we took out Joje and put it on the Bus' backseat, very obvious. Then we watched them through the window and when Antje came on the bus, she was so happy she went and sat next to her Eeyore. It was a really cute sight.

When we reached ACSI we were all like, "Wow..." There's won very good word to describe the campus. ENORMOUS. It is SERIOUSLY big. Pei Fen was commenting that the ACSI dudes must take a very long time to get home since they could take half an hour to get out of the campus. We took a while to find the Badminton courts but found it in the end. And Oh. My. GOD. It's AIR-CONDITIONED and has EIGHT courts. And also, it has that CPR thing or whatever you call it. You know the thing we did in P5 camp? The bermuda bridge or something. Like, oh my god. They also had a door in the middle of no where on a wall.

Siew Yun was first singles. She had to play a rubber set and won! We were cheering like mad. Kai Yin and Pei Fen were first doubles. They won the first set, lost the second but they won the third! Even though I didn't see it finish since all the other schools were finished with their games when we were still playing first doubles. So Smily, Caryl, Joellyn and I had to go to different courts to play.

I won 15-1, 15-0 I think. It was quite easy I guess... =) Caryl and Smily won their matches too so we won 5-0! Yay!! I actually didn't know the score at first. Haha... I line-judged the RI vs. ACS(Barker) match. RI won really easily so yay, my line-judging was over really fast.

Because we took so long to get ready to go back, the bus left without us and we had to wait till FIVE before another bus would come! Ms Beh scolded us for misbehaving. We walked around the school for 20 minutes trying to find out where we were supposed to wait for the bus. Pei Fen said that someone had suddenly said,"Hi Pei Fen" to her and she didn't even recognise who it was until she ran to me saying, "I didn't know my cousin's in this school!!"

For the rest of the 20minutes, I did my Math homework and flicked pieces of vanguard paper around the place. I also did some of my apron for Home Econs. On the way back I listened to my Ipod and ate sweets...

Yesterday was Ms Tan's last lit. lesson with us before Ms Toh returns to teach us!! AND I MISSED IT. I was so damn SAD lor... It was actually qutie fun while I was there. We had just finished Science so we planned to do someting for Ms Tan so we were all writing messages for her on the board when somebody shouted,"Ms Tan is coming!!"

So we were like, let's go distract her!! At that moment, Elisa and Joellyn had come by, so Elisa and I mostly talked to her so that she can't go in. She was like,"Can I go in yet??!" And Faeqa and I would shout,"NO!!" And then I'd distract her more. I was even looking into her pencil box. Not very interesting.

Finally we allowed Ms Tan in and while Ms Tan was walking to our classroom, Faeqa was like, "1, 2,3..." And then Ms Tan walked in and we all stood up and shouted,"WE LOVE YOU MS TAN!"

Ms Tan was like,"Whoa..." When she saw the board. I don't really know if she read the whole thing. While I was leaving, the calss did the usual,"Good luck Miranda! Must win!!"

When I passed by the class again, I heard Ms Tan asking the clas what they wanted to do and I heard someone shout,"play!" But they didn't seem to do that. Haha...

OMG. I was just surfing blogs, and guess what?? They took pictures with Ms Tan! And on the board, Ms Tan gave them her HP NUMBER!! SNIFFLESSSS...

It was totally unexpected. I was actually planning to go to the Primary School Prefect's Meeting with Carolyn BUT, I was lining up at the biscuit store and I saw Kelly(my class one) and so I said "hi", being the nice person that I am. And then she was like, "HI!! MIRANDA!! Can you run for 100m???" I was like "Wha?!?" At first. But being the nice girl that I am, I went to the track with her.

Yan Hong was the other runner there. Hui Qi was actually supposed to run but she sprained her back so she couldn't run and so I was the replacement for her. I took attendance then I went to the canteen to find Carolyn but she was gone! So I just went back to the track.

I did not expect the heats to take so long. I watched some of the high-jumpers, then the shot put(Mao and Faeqa were there). They did the 'B' Division 800m heats first. Then I was the 100m Heat 5. So I waited for the first 4 heats to go by. Yan Hong was in Heat 4. She came in third, I came in third. Blah.

After running, Eunice, Jia Ping and I went to the shot put area where Mao had gotten through to the second round. So we were supporting her. It was really funny because Mao was trying out all these ways of throwing. She throws pretty far. Like 5.6m I think... To me it's far. But some people got 7.something... So like, whoaa...

Found Carolyn later and got my bag. Then we went to the gym to find Carolyn's watch because Eunice didn't have it. We were looking around and finally Eunice found Carolyn's watch. We then walked back to the track because I had forgotten my skirt. Sadly, Jolene saw Eunice drinking her Grass Jelly there, and booked her. Eunice was wailing about it all the way to the bus stop. Carolyn, Eunice and I saw Jia Ping at the bus stop too! I was the last to get onto the bus. :(

Yesterday, during Sunday Training, we had to change courts. So when we were moving to the other court, Mrs Wong asked me to make sure the juniors didn't get run over by cars. And so, they started calling me "Jie Jie" or "Mimi Jie Jie". At first I found it annoying, but after a while, we got a whole family.

I just suddenly heard, "What's our surname? OI!" And yeah... Actually, Elisa was also a Xiao Mei but then she didn't like our surname so she "quit" the family. So sad. :( Poor Joy, had quite a sad name. You put her name and surname together and she's, Joy Oi. But of course, she didn't seem to mind it. So all's well.

Fan Qi was most doted on definitely. Elena and all were Piggybacking her all over the place and also making those "chairs" out of their arms. It was really fun though.

Visited them at training today and was greeted with a lot of "Da Jie!!!"'s. I was trying to remember their order but it's kind of hard to with such an extenisive family but I don't mind. I mean, I've known them for at LEAST 3 years. So we're all really close and I'm loving it.

I absolutely LOVE this song! I did the lyrics for it before, but of course, I'll delete it and put it here! The video actually leaked out. The single isn't actually due till April. Haha... It was supposed to come this month but because McFly was asked to go to Uganda again, they decided to laten(like there's such a word) the release of the Transylvania single. Tranny rocks!! My second favourite song(Star Girl is my favourite if you didn't know). The video is really nonsensical, as usual, they are GIRLS. Gosh. It's quite disturbing, but I still laugh everytime I see it.

On Thursday, we played against Cedar. Before the game, I was actually really nervous because during the time that we line-judged for them, they looked pretty good. So I was like, trying to calm myself down.

On the way to Hougang Sports Hall, Pei Fen had a fever. :( So we like, made her rest. I gave her Elisa's water bottle(had ice in it so it was cold! :D) and like, made her lie down lor... At first the bus was really quiet, and unfamiliar sound. Until, Elisa suddenly pointed at an insect crawling on the floor. She was like, "What's that?" and I was like, "WHAT'S THAT?" And Ms Leong was like, "It's a baby cockroach!" And I was like,"There are cockroaches in this bus?!?!" Quite loudly, making the others aware of this fact. Then of course, the spotted one at my seat there, and it was dead. So we sort of got worked up, screaming and squealing away. Siew Yun is guilty for stepping on a cockroach. According to the others, they saw the cockroach one moment and when Siew Yun moved, the cockroach was later found dead. So yeah... :D

When we got to Hougang, Pei Fen called her mother but her mother couldn't come so after we warmed up, we went outside and we helped Pei Fen flag a cab. There was a whole line of us waving our arms out. Siew Yun was sticking her racket out too and I was commenting that a car could simply come by and hit her racket.

I played second doubles. So I line-judged for first doubles. I line-judged the Kent Ridge vs. CHIJ game. To be honest, it was horribly boring because NOTHING came to my side. So actually, most of the time I was either watching the Crescent vs. Raffles(Pei Ting was playing at that time) or the SC vs. Cedar match(Elisa and Kai Yin were playing). Well, they won which is really good news!

Caryl scared us all. She was playing second singles and if we won that match, we would be in the semi-finals and we would be top of our group which means no facing Raffles till finals! So anyway, Caryl lost her first set. And then won the second. At the third set, we were screaming our lungs out. And she won!! We were screaming and jumping up and down and hugging and high-fiving each other.

But of course, I still had to play my doubles and Smily, her last singles. For second doubles, we played against Theresa, who is Joyscelyn's(Most probably sp!!) sister. Joyscelyn's in the Primary school team by the way. And she and Alethea were there supporting. But Joyscelyn felt very mao dun because she didn't know who to support. Well, we won 15-6, 15-10.

After that Smily played her singles and won too! By then, we were the only school left playing. We felt quite sorry for the Queenstown and Fairfield because they had to stay behind because of us. Anyway, after Smily won, we got together and we did three cheers for Cedar, and we did our Badminton cheer. Alethea says it's a Christian song... Hahaha...

Alethea trated me to fries and then we went back to school. They were doing this pull your shoelaces game. Gah. I played Nature Park on Yin Ling's phone. Yay.

I think we're playing against St Marg's next. Pei Ting says that they aren't that good. I hope she's right.

Blah, haven't blogged in so long! Have been drowning in homework and badminton. Have to really learn to manage my time well.

Anyway, last Tuesday, SC played against Kent Ridge Sec School. We won 5-0 again. I played... Second doubles I think... :D I think we won 15-6, 15-3 or something like that. I really can't remember. Short term memory. But it's not that short term, because that was like a week ago... I line-judged the CHIJ vs. Queenstown match I think... Ha ha... I helped Ms Beh(I think) umpire the last singles I think... Or did I even umpire? Anyway, what's is important is that we won! Yay! Ms Beh or Mr Ang treated us! Yay!

Today we played against Queenstown. I didn't expect it to be over so fast, I expected more challenge really... I played second doubles and won 15-0, 15-0. The rest all won too, but I'm not sure of their scores. I didn't really line-judge because while I was supposed to line-judge, Mr Wong made us go watch Cedar play doubles so we could find their weaknesses. I later helped Ms Beh umpire and it's like, it was over really fast. Ms Beh treated us again. We actually finished at about 3.30 and the bus driver only came at like what? 4.30?? I could have done so much more but ah well. It was fun. :D

Note to self: Remember to ask mum for a letter so I can take bus back with Pei Ting.
