On Saturday, the Prefects Party that Marissa and I organised was held. She came at about 1+ and ate lunch. Then we did last minute preparation but by the time the first person arrived at the Multi-purpose room, we still hadn't finished! So I went down first and got the multi-purpose room. Then, Karuna, Ruth and Megan followed me back to my house to help bring the stuff back while the others stayed in the Multi-purpose room to open chairs. But however, when we got back, we realised that we didn't have everything! AHH!! So this time, Gaby and Gui Lyn followed me up to get the stuff. Then finally the party started!

I finally settled everybody down and taught them how to play whacko. Then Marissa and I escaped to the Reading Room to complete the Amazing Race. When we finished, Marissa went to start them off while I went back home to prepare the clues. Took a while before they came and then they did the brain teasers. When they first came, they all asked me where the clue was! If they had only looked to their right first... Only one team managed to complete all 10 brain teasers and most of the others forfeited before my mother came back and lectured us for coming to the house when she had let me book the multi-purpose room. So everybody got chased out so I gave them their next clue.

Their next clue was SOO funny. They had to tell the Laurels guy that his hair was nice! Should have made it harder... Because EVERYBODY did that. Didn't expect that! So anyway, they came to the playground and I explained their next task. It took me a while to realise that Kelly, Daryl and Justine took a long time to finally come. Turned out that Marissa had forgotten about them and then left the basketball court before they had even arrived! Poor them. So they were pushed behind. But good for them, I forgot to put the clue at the BBQ pit. So it was sort of like a foot race to the finish. I followed Ruth and Shen-nen to the end. Hai Qing and Audrey won.

We went back to the Multi-Purpose room and then took LOADS of pictures and played some Black Jack. Then played Musical Chairs and Musical Statues. Still lots of photos... After everybody ordered food, we played some Marco Polo and then Marissa, Hai Qing and I went up to go wait for the food to come. We played lots of games and talked a lot. The food took FOREVER to come!!! Like, an hour and more. Turned out that McDonalds had run out of scooters, so the guy was taking a TAXI! Finally the food arrived and we rushed back to the MPR. Poor Gaby had gastric! So everybody dug in and there was silence. NOT! So slowly, slowly, people started going back. After dinner Marissa and I started cleaning the place and all.

While I was cleaning, Daphne suddenly had a fall and hit her knee, It was damn painful for her so everybody was gathering round and comforting her. Gaby, being a smart girl gave Daphne her ice lemon tea to put on her knee as an ice pack. After a while, she got better. When only Marissa, Clarissa, Jamie, Daphne, Cheryl, Florence and I were left, they took the box and the started pushing each other around in it! They forced Marissa and I to take the ride too and when they came to a stop, they would go,"Congratulations, and celebrations!" Then they'd tip you out of the box. It was so fun! Finally, only Florence, Jamie, Cheryl and I were left so we returned the MPR and headed back down to the basketball court. Thank goodness I got a lift from there back home from Cheryl's dad. I could have died carrying that box full of my stuff home alone.

Anyway, despite the lecture, the day turned out to be GREAT!

To all Class of '06 Prefects: I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!

Well, today was... Well, fun and sad. Besides being the last day of school, we also held the Prize Giving Ceremony and Ms Heng's send-off. Prize Giving was first and actually, this was my FIRST ever time going on stage to collect a prize!! SO COOL MAN! So anyway, before the Prize Giving, I tried looking for my mum but Bleh, couldn't find her. So anyway, I went on stage and collected my prize, then went down again. HAHA... I got trophy AND certificate man! SO COOL! Actually, when I went on stage, my mind and ears sort of went blank, and I didn't really hear anything. I just stood there, smile, smile, smile, collect prize, then walked off stage. Weird. After that, I went to the reception for a short while and got a picture with Ms Heng. Then I went to the gallery and sat with my class for a short while before moving to the courtyard. Carolyn, Marissa and I arranged the P4's then went to sit down with the other prefects. It was followed by four speeches by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ms Heng, Shen-nen(Primary Head Prefect) and Li Li Shan(secondary Head Prefect). Then it was followed by the school song and the school cheer. As usual, the school cheer was sped up until hardly anybody could keep up. HAHA.... After that we headed for the Khoo Auditorium and watched a concert. The Emcees were DAMN funny! The handbells performance was so CUTE! It was like, I was watching them shake the bells then suddenly they hit the bell on the table and this really cute noise comes out! Another performance I liked was the band. The last one was cute, and I was doing the YMCA thingy! Well, smaller version. The choir was cool too. The last song which was written by the SC girls. DAMN funny! It was SOOO SOOO SOO funny!! At the end of the concert, Ms Heng was crying, and seeing her cry made me want to cry, but I didn't. After that we lined the driveway and waved our school flag while Ms Heng drove down in a Vintage car man! Totally cool! here's a pic of the car!

WHOO!!! I LOVE THIS EXCURSION!!! Don't know why but i loved it... Well, yesterday, my class was DESPERATE for a parent volunteer so I ended up calling my mother and she came as a parent volunteer. She came at like, 9.10 and the bus was leaving at 9.15. So she came and we headed for the bus. On the bus, Pei Wei and I sat together and we were obsessing over trying to beat the other buses to the Science Centre. And Pei Wei told me that her cousin wanted a younger brother so she could marry him and have three children and get married by 5. I was laughing my head off!!!!!!!!!

So we were second to arrive and blah blah blah... We later charged in a looked around. It was like, damn fun lor... So many different things... A pity we only found the good things towards the end. After a lot of looking around, we finally left. BUT.... We didn't take a re-entry stamp. SUCH a pity because if we did, we could have gone to the waterworks! So since we couldn't, we went to McDonalds where there was this MASSIVE line. I had to line up for like, 20 minutes! So finally I got my food... My lunch actually. I got McNuggets set... And fries for Mona and JY. So we ate ate ate... We had 10 minutes to eat only. Bena told me I looked like my mum and then after that we went to line up and then blah blah blah....

Oh. My. God. I never realised how RUSTY i was till today. I'm ACHING ALL OVER!!! BLEH! It's like, i start training from 1.30pm since I was forced to... And then I stop training at like, 5.30 or so. DIE DIE already.... So rusty some more... Somehow, I feel the secondary team is a bit cold... When Siew Yun, Pei Fen and I entered the hall, somebody went,"Oh man..." I mean, she could at least say it when we're NOT around. So tactful. Sheesh.

Ok, my title's are officially BORING! Whee.... Yesterday, went out with the senior badminton team(except Mar Mar)... After lifeskills, I changed and then went to the lobby and met Joellyn and Carolyn then we went to the bus bay and met Pei Fen and Siew Yun... We took bus to Plaza Sing. The bus was so damn crowded man... Pei Fen scratched me!!! By accident of course but YOU SCRATCHED ME UNTIL I BLEED LEH! Only a bit lah... But STILL!!!

Ok, so we went to Plaza and then bought the tickets to go watch Scoop! We were choosing whether to eat lunch then or eat it after the movie but we ended up going. We went to KFC and I bought popcorn chicken set! YAY!!! Then we went up and I bought gummies and then we went to watch the movie.

The movie is DAMN funny lah. But seriously disgusting... But still, FUNNY!!! FARNI LIKE SHIT!! After the movie, we were GOING to go to the arcade but suddenly, Siew Yun shouted,"Mrs Tan!" So we started running to the escalator. We went down and down and then we lost her. I called my mum who said I couldn't go to Bugis after all. Bleh. Then when we were going up the escalator and Siew Yun was talking to Ms Miranti on the phone, she said,"Hold on!" and started pointing wildly at a person in Marks & Spencers. Guess who? Mrs Tan! So we talked to her a while and Siew Yun and Carolyn took pictures.

FINALLY, we went to the arcade. But Joe and I had an important call to make first. So afterwards, we went in and Joellyn and I raced and as usual, I lost to her.... After that we took neoprints and we took forever to decorate until the time finally ran out... After that I went home.... It was about.... 5.50 then.

WOOHOO!!! Ok, I should have done this yesterday, but I was busy being a nice, good hostess. Well, PSLE IS OVER! LIKE, ANOTHER HURDLE OF MY LIFE, OVER AND DONE WITH! I JUST WANT TO JUMP FOR JOY! Actually, I've already done that. Hahahahahahahahahahaha...

Ok, well, after a major exam, it is only right to.... CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON! After school, Mona, Jia Ying and I headed home on the bus. While walking to the bus stop, I called McDonalds to order our lunch. After talking like, for so long, the lady finally told me the lunch started at 10.45am! Guess what time it was? 10.30am!! So we sat, and waited for the bus to come. By 10.45am, the bus STILL hadn't come. So I just called McDonalds again and finally made the order. Then right after the call, the bus came. So lucky! Lucky lucky... We're so lucky... Ok, ignore that. It's part of the post-PSLE madness.

So on the bus, we talked, and I acted mad. Like KER-AZY! We then reached Cold Storage Jelita and we went to Video EZY to borrow a VCD. We ended up borrowing X-Men: The Last Stand even though we all watched it before... So we just went home, they dumped their stuff on my bed and stared at my wall. But it's not half as bad as SOMEBODY'S.... You know who you are.... HAHA... Ok, so then we got bored and watched TV... Waited for the food to come. It took like, FOREVER.... It FINALLY came and we sat in the living room to eat... After eating we changed and then we headed for Orchard Road to meet Joellyn.

First I wanted to take neoprints, but they all didn't want so we went to Star Factory and played well, arcade games... Now, Joellyn, you would probably want me to say this, so I will. She rocks at driving games. She ALWAYS beat me. It's so unfair. STUPID! The lady at the counter had a real attitude problem. After the arcade, we went to the MRT station so I could top up my EZ link card. Then Joellyn and JY bought ice lemon tea and then we headed back home.

Whenwe got back, we went online for a short while to YouTube and then after that we went to the playground. First we swung on the swings and sat on a rainbow... Then later we ended up playing sharky(sharkie?). I'm proud to say I became sharky(sharkie?) only because I offered!! HAHAHA! I ROCK! I climbed up the slide and then we went back to the house again. Mona and Jia Ying bathed and Joellyn showed us magic card tricks and we played Black Jack for a while. Then we played this game called Go Fish and then I went to bathe! After bathing, we played The Game of Life and i came in second with 3 million something and Mona came in first with 4 million something. Who wouldn't hate her?

After the Game of Life, we packed it up and watched some TV, then we watched X-Men! WHOO!!! It rocks! HAHAHA! After X-Men we played Cluedo till 10+ and then we moved our beds to the living room. At 11, Joellyn watched TV while JY, Mona and I played Cheat. Mona won and Jia Ying and I gave up. Then Joellyn brought her Uno cards out and we played Uno. There was once, where Joellyn won in TWO moves! It's MADNESS. So after playing LOADS of games, we decided to go to sleep. However, once all the lights were off, we COULDN'T SLEEP. So turned on the lights again and we played some more Uno until Jia Ying and Mona went to sleep. So Joellyn and I played speed until 1.30am before we went to sleep.

The Next Morning....

Well, I was PLANNING on waking up really late, but guess what? I was half awake, when I felt like, this mass of people staring at me. So I opened my eyes, and Mona, Jia Ying and Joellyn were ALL UP! So as a good hostess.... I got up too. Guess what time it was? 7.45am. So much for waking up late. We played Uno again and then we ate some breakfast, played some more Uno.. Then played Cluedo... Guess what? I WON EVERY SINGLE ROUND!! HAHAHA.... Ok, so soon after, JY left... The rest of the day wasn't too exciting. We played loads of Uno, Game of Life, went online... Blah blah blah....

I love this feeling of not having to study anymore. It's like, a dream come true. Until we get our results back.

That's the sad truth for all P6 girls around here... Well, for one thing, at least it was enjoyable! This year it was something different from all the other years. This year, we had a mini cranival which I can tell you, was SERIOUSLY mini. Well, the P5's and P6es were the first to try out the games and I'm proud to say i'm the first for one of the games!! HAHA!! Although we were given an hour to play, I had only half an hour. Why? I had duty at the pushcart to sell these things to help with mercy relief. But it doesn't matter. I had already used all my game coupons. Plus, I LOVE selling things at the pushcart...

After the one hour was up, the P6es went to watch this movie... Anime lah. Tsubasa. I'm no big fan of anime. I was pinpointing out to Mona how inaccurate anime is... Call me whatever you like, anime is not my thing. After the movie, we went for another hour long recess. I ate cotton candy and JY and I played congkak(big surprise!). Oh yeah, that friday was also JY's birthday!! WHOO!! I already wished her happy birthday then... So yeah... Oh yeah, if you're reading this JY, Caren wishes you happy birthday too!

So after recess, it was time for all the performances. Yippee! Well, first, there was the one minute of fame for the P5's and P6es. And well... Hmmmmmmmmm..... I can't say it was excellent. I can hardly say it was good except for a few performances. Ruth really suits the part as the phantom man! LOL!!!! So funny! After the one minute of fame, came the teachers performance. It was quite funny. But very unprepared(I later learnt that they never had any practices)... They played Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps!!! A very fast version but STILL!! IMA SANG IT! WHOO!!!! Then, for the P6 teachers item, Mrs Kam and Mrs Zakaria sang a version of Abba's "Does your mother know?". They're singing ain't shabby! It was SO CUTE! I mean, the lyrics and all... HILARIOUS.

After the performance, we got our childrens' day gifts and then Kelly and I headed for the pantry. The prefects were treated to a Childrens' Day lunch! Yay! there was pizza, and satay, and soft drinks and it rocked! Ms Heng gave us a talk(since she's retiring) and then we also got gifts. YAY! So lah lah lah, we had chocolate and ice-cream too... Mrs Chen was like, forcing the food on us. Especially her home-made aga-aga... I never tried it though... After that, we just hung around and then when Ruth and I were passing by the hall, we saw Marissa picking up the litter in the hall. So as good little prefects, we went over to help her. Man! You should have SEEN the hall! It was a PIGSTY! We spent like, a whole hour cleaning the hall and the gallery.

After cleaning the hall, Ruth and I played a bit of baseball then went home. So you can tell, I had a very enjoyable day... Too bad it's the last time celebrating. After this, we're officially teenagers... Sigh...
