Date ; Thursday, March 30, 2006 Time ; 4:37 PM Title ; Rivervale Vs SCGS Well, today was a really good day! Besides winning our competition 4-1, guess what? It's also my birthday! You know, I doubt people really know it's my birthday. The first person to actually wish me happy birthday was Joellyn. So anyway, we went to Hougang and our opponent for the day was Rivervale Primary School. Joellyn and I won our match 15-7, 15-1. Pei Fen lost her match. But nobody is blaming her. I mean, she was playing against an SBA PLAYER! I'm so happy because Rebekah and Marissa won their match! You betcha they're improving! Before all the games started, Mrs Wong made the team sing Happy Birthday to me! I was using my towel to try and cover my face. But it's really fun. On the way back we pigged out. Mrs Farid treated us to M&Ms.

Now that it's the nationals, the juniors go in the morning and the seniors go in the afternoon. As I left class, Ying ying made a comment that is really freaking me out. Those people who know me as coconut... Anyway, she said,"Don't lose your match because inside your head i'll be calling you coconut!" Or something like that... Well guess what? I didn't even THINK about the word coconut while I was playing. Anyway, we won 5-0. Marissa sprained her ankle and couldn't play. So Chelsea took her palce. And Chels and Rebekah won anyway! Joellyn and I won our match 15-3, 15-1. Oops! I forgot to mention who we were playing against. We were playing against Unity Primary School. Nothing really THAT interesting happened. Line-judging was boring as usual. Canossa kept hitting out for the first few shots... We play against Rivervale next. Then Canossa. Joellyn and I vow to beat that stupid pair of doubles that we played against twice, and lost. TWICE!

Let me just get on with it. One more thing, besides losing something, I find it very hard trying to make the day better. Well, halfway through suplementary, I had to go to the CCAB for the Pilot Pen cup. Well, the morning was fine! In fact, the morning was GREAT! We won our match then went over to Carolyn's house and played around for a while and then went back again. After stroking for a while, we felt like getting a drink. So Joellyn and I left our rackets on the floor and went out. When we came back, we heard that Anna and Carolyn's game was going to start. So we sat down on the floor, drinking H2o and watching the match. AND WE TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT OUR RACKETS! So after the game, I refilled my water and we were going to go stroking, when we couldn't find our rackets in our bags. We then remembered that we left it on the floor. So we went over, and GUESS WHAT? IT WAS GONE! ZILCH! ZERO! Our rackets had DISAPPEARED! We walked around the place and even reported it to the people but they had only found one racket. So we had to play with our extra rackets. Since Jamie(Mrs Wong's son) had the EXACT same racket as Joellyn(Yes, racket AND grip), Mrs Wong made him lend it to her. So we stroked around and we went to play. Tough luck we won. And I cannot really stand that they are so good, but they are like, 2 heads shorter than me. So I cried, as usual after we lost. Carolyn was being really nice and tried to help us find our rackets again. Mrs Wong thought I was crying because I lost my match. But, obviously someone had stolen the racket and ran away with it. Who would hang around after stealing something? When Joellyn told Carolyn about my mum, Carolyn was telling me to blame it on HER! Because she was supposed to look after the rackets(which is totally not true). But I can't do that! Carolyn is innocent! I should have remembered my racket. Sigh, I have to be prepared for the HUGE scolding. I mean, my handphone, now this. I wish my mum was a bit less fierce. Even Mr Wong thinks that mum is very fierce. Fiercer than him. And Mr Wong is FIERCE.
Date ; Wednesday, March 08, 2006 Time ; 6:30 PM Title ; Lost and Not Found Sigh... After only 4 months of usage, it's gone! What? My dear, beautiful handphone! When? Last Sunday after training. Where? Clementi Sports Hall. Why? It dropped on the floor! That was it summarised in a few words. But I shall now elaborate! I was just about to leave with Mag for the car when I realised I forgot my racket. So I ran all the way back to the court to get it. On the way out, I heard a thump sound but since I was rushing, I ignored it and continued on. I went back into the car and when we were almost home, I realised my phone was gone! I called Mr. Wong and then we rushed back to the sports hall. Mum was starting to scold me already. I quickly got down and rushed back in. The phone was not there. I walked around without a clue, and OBVIOUSLY, somebody had taken it. Later mum came in looking pissed. She called my phone and someone picked up! But made no sound. According to her, she heard a girl's voice in the distance. I walked around the hall, trying to see who had my phone, no such luck of finding it. Mum called again but this time the person did not answer the call. If you stole my phone and you're reading this, GET LOST YOU FREAKING STEALER! We went back into the car and mum started yelling at me. It's not my fault my pocket was open and the phone dropped out and someone stole it! I was rushing! So in the end, Monica called Dad and he quickly cut off the lines. Ha! Too bad for that person! Huo Gai! I probably won't be able to get a new phone till i'm like JC or something. Unless something miraculous happens to my dad, and I am able to get a new phone immediately. Yeah right.
Date ; Wednesday, March 01, 2006 Time ; 6:20 PM Title ; The funny Recess thing Today, after the exam, we had recess. Obviously we did not know recess was extended. But we extended it anyway. This is not what i'm blogging about though! It was about AFTER recess. We came back to class at about 11.40 something, and the board said, recess until 11.50am in big words. But then, in smaller words, it said, recess until 11.10am. But i'm still not getting to the point! The funny part is that before Ms Ang came in, Kelly took of one one from the 11. So it became 1.10am. Then just when Ms Ang entered the class, Lizzy Lee took away the a and made it a p. I should think the class was in hysterics. It's so funny. And Ms Ang was just staring at us... |
