Title ; Reading the blog of a Champ.

If you didn't understand the title, let me fill you in. You are reading the South Zone badminton Team Champions!!!! Oh yeah, oh yeah... Ok ok, let me just do the blog like a normal person. There is someone who is very, very brave in the blog...

Well we left school missing 2 of our precious players. 1 from each team. Lorraine from the juniors and my doubles partner, Joellyn. Do you know how sad it can be when your doubles partner/friend is at home, sick with a fever?? Man, all the more it's the finals. I thought that if she didn't come, that would pay back all the 6 trainings I ditched her for.

But I didn't get to pay back. Why?? Because my partner came!! Can you believe it? She still had fever(38. something degees) but she still came. That's what I like about Joe. So strong... Sigh.. I will never be able to do that. As she calls me, I'm a tofu. Soft and breakable. So we were put into first doubles, Marissa and rebekah 2nd doubles, Siew yun 3rd singles, Carolyn 1st singles and PF 2nd singles.

Carolyn won her game. And Joellyn vomited while we were stroking but that's ok. So we stroked and then the game started. It's quite a funny(not funny ha-ha funny but funny weird funny...) match I must say. Well, we were playing against this RGPS girl who was really arrogant and disgusting(so I think) and Elisa(Elena's sis). We lost the first set because I was using my other racket which I realised that it had too much strength and I kept hitting out. That's why we lost. So i changed back to my usual racket and we played the second set and won! And surprisingly, between the first and second set, I suddenly felt better! Amazing huh? So we played the third set. And we won! So all our scores are 13-15, 15-3 and 15-6. Joellyn's mother was letting her cool down and Mrs Wong made the team give us 3 cheers because we were both sick. After Joellyn cooled down, she went home. Pei Fen won her match so that means that we had already won! But we continued playing. Marissa and Rebekah lost their match though. They had a rubber set like us. Then Siew yun played and she won too! So the seniors won their match 4-1.

The juniors were on their second doubles when we finished and Anna was playing in the court next to them since the 4th and 3rd placing match was over. Since Lorraine wasn't here, Joy played. Again. But sadly, both doubles lost so the final score was 3-2. But WHO CARES? Both teams are winners and that's how it will be. We didn't do school cheer this year though. Sad.

All in all, I think Joellyn is very brave for coming and she's still good. I was pretty rusty after not playing for a week...
