Date ; Sunday, February 19, 2006 Time ; 6:29 PM Title ; Prize Presentation X2 Well the X2 part isn't exactly ready yet but it will be tomorrow. On Friday, we(meaning the badminton team) went for our prize-giving at Hong Wen Primary school. I was able to eat Mee Pok because we left at 2.30pm. By the time I bought my Mee Pok, Jia Ying and Mona had both finished their lunch. They were watching me eat but then they had to go up after awhile although they had wanted to wait for me. So later I went to visit Carolyn and Marissa. I just walked around the library while they did their homework. Then later Marissa and I just walked around and then we saw the juniors checking the playpacks! We wanted to help but then Mrs Tan said we should be going. Then we went up to put our bags down and then we went down again. We were in the courtyard when the choir people poked their heads over the balcony. Then there was a lot of talking until Ms Miranti called us. Then we left for Hong Wen. On the way there, Joy and I played chopsticks, then we played hei bai pei. But the ride was quite fast actually... So that was the only 2 games that we played. We got there and we were sitting down. Joy, Chelsea and I started playing hangman. But before we could even finish, we had to go for the presentation already. Siew Yun and I sort of talked to the Raffles Girls. Then when the juniors were called, the seniors cheered. When we were called, the juniors cheered. It was quite fun. A pity Sarah wasn't here. After that we took pictures on the stage and then we said the school cheer and attracted loads of stares. But who cares? On the way back, it was really really FUN!!!! I just suddenly felt like playing Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar. So Ixora, Alethea, Joy, Chelsea and I started playing. Then we added Elena. Then Samantha. Then Marissa. Then Lorraine. Then Evangeline. Then Carolyn. Then Ying Ling. We tried Mrs Ng, Ms Miranti and Mrs Farid. But they didn't answer. So sad. Back at school, we wrote our names on our trophies but when I was going to get my bag, I realised that my trophy said junior girls!! I rushed back to the staff room and then later Evangeline turned out to have my trohpy. Phew. |
