Date ; Wednesday, February 08, 2006 Time ; 6:30 PM Title ; Playpack Packing Whee. I haven't gone on since Monday so I have to talk about Monday, on Wednesday. Anyway, Mrs Zakaria wasn't there that day so Prefects' Meeting was cancelled. But however, Ms Kwok wanted us to pack playpacks for the people in Pakistan. So Carolyn, Marissa and I left training at 3.30 and went down to the place. We saw a load of prefects at one place so we dumped our bags with theirs and we started helping to holepunch and stick stickers onto the cards that SCGS girls made. After that Andrea(the p5 one. Not the p6 one.) and I were rushing back and forth between the Resource room and the 'place' to give them more cards. In the resource room, some prefects were laminating the cards and then there were some cutting them up. Later, Ms Durrat made us stop and we went over to the other 'place' and I started to pack toothbrushes, toothpaste, a comb and a packet of biscuits in towels. It really was quite fun all of this. By that time it wasn't so crowded because we were working overtime. So later we had to pack up and some of us were playing with a game. Then later we got those trolleys and we put cardboard boxes on them and we pushed them to the recylcing bins. Then we pushed the trolleys back and then we helped Ms Durrat carry some stuff to the staff room and then we went home. I was SO tired when I got back home that I just went to sleep. I know that sounds really boring to you but you have no idea how much fun it can be. I always thought it would be boring... |
