Today is Halloween and Qi Ying and Pei wei came over to celebrate with me. Qi ying came pretty late so we didn't have much time to play. We had sausages and pizza for dinner. Qi Ying and Pei Wei were witches, Qi Qing a genie and I was a gypsy. We went to Laurels to line up for the goodies. It was a lot of goodies and drinks! We went around my house for one hour, then we went to sunset way to get more candy. The house there are really nicely decorated for halloween. We were a bit late though. A few houses ran out of sweets already. But boy was the food good. I know that my candy is not going to last... Ah well. It looks really good!!! SO anyway, while we were waiting for Qi Ying's mum to come pick us up, Qi Qing threw one of Pei Wei's chocolate into the grass. We never found it. Probably squashed already. After all that, Qi ying's mum treated us to slurpees!! Yummy!
Today was prizegiving day and i had to go to do prefects duty. I must say, it makes you very thirsty. Firstly, I had to pass out pamphlets. So I go around asking, "would you like a pamphlet? Would you like a pamphlet?". Secondly, I had to go around ushering seats. "Would you please come this way? Would you please come this way?". The concert on the whole was pretty normal. Gym, dancing, anklung, choir... Yeah. SO after the concert, there was a reception. I had to go around offering plates. "Would you like a plate? Would you like a plate?" The only good part is that we[prefects] got to eat too. I waited for about an hour till transport came. I played with people. Different people. So anyway, That was my first ever prefect duty...
Today we end our lifeskills. It was fun. Like last years one. On the first day, we had sewing and ettiquette(sp?). I suck at sewing. I poked myself once and i bled a little. My needle wasn't good. After changing needle, It was much smoother! We made a handphone pouch. I've changed my mind about using it for my new handphone... After sewing, we had our recess. Which was also our time for the flea market. I mostly bought food and drinks. I mean, it was the only time that we are allowed to eat on the 4th level! I basically walked around with caren and joellyn. After the flea market, we had to go for ettiquette. Mrs Nickles was really funny. She cracked all this jokes and everything. Too bad we won't have ettiquette next year. She gave us sweets at the end!
Today, we had household and cooking. Cooking was first. We learnt how to make omelettes, cook rice and vegetables. Our omelettes had luncheon meat in them. After eating our omelettes, we still had some luncheon meat left. So we dumped it into the wok and cooked it too! Then we ate it all up. YUM! Afterwards, we had household. We had to mop, make baskets, iron and wash socks and underwear... My favourite was ironing. I had to leave for while because Mrs Singh wanted to tell us who the vice-head and head were and about our phone relay. After everything, we went to the gallery and had to do this students survey. Oh, and Adelle gave me a flour baby. SO CUTE! I took out the eyes... Today was the end of school too... HAHAHA We are a lucky lucky school. I shall be enjoying my holiday!
Sheesh. Why do we have to go through this seminar?? It's so GROSS!! Oh we have to learn about our puberty before we overgrow. We had to go through all these disgusting stations and different stuff. All this weird videos... *shudders* The only good part is that we had a really long recess. I don't want to talk about it anymore. I can't take it!
