Yes we are the champions! For the juniors at least. We won 4-1. Guess who lost the 1 point? Me and Athena. I should be so proud... We had to play 3 sets. Athena and I lost the 1st and the 3rd match. The scores were 17-16, 15-13, 15-7. Sad huh? Such a pity. I was dog tired. When we lost i kind of cried... Yes i guess i'm sort of a tofu.
I was line judging for the raffles-Gan Eng Seng match. Raffles won quite obviously. Once, the Umpire caught the shuttle in the air and threw to the next server. Kind of cool. Ah well... At least we are 1st in the southzone! Onto the Nationals! We CHARGE!!!
We went to the all saints home today. We were seperated into 3 groups. I was in the third group and I went to the men's lvl first. Caren and I pushed this old man in a wheelchair around. He ate some soup but i was not sure what it was because he kept saying something but i didn't understand. We pushed him one whole round the lvl. Later another man wanted to go down so Qi Ying, Hui ning, Sara and Calrisse tagged along with caren and i. We went to the fish pond for 2 minutes and then had to go up again.
When we went to the second lvl, we didn't understand what most women were talking about. Later when we went down to wait for the others, a man came by and took a picture of us. Later he took another picture of the whole class... I was so thirsty since i didn't bring a waterbottle! I stayed a bit longer in school to play with Caren and Sherilyn while they waited for their parents. We did our science homework too!
During science, Miss Durrat made a cell model for us. It is actually really gross. First, she took a ziploc bag and said it was the cell membrane. The, she took this little octogen thing and put it it. The grossness begins here. She took a bag of jelly and dumped it in too!! Worse, she took some fruit plus sweets and dumped them in! What a waste! When the sweets were inside, she said," I think the sweets are dissolving." HAHAA! So anyway, when she finished it, she asked if anybody wanted it. Gross huh??
Its very obvious now that it is a small world. It just so happens that when Gillian's dad was picking me up today, My stepmother was in the car too. Amazing isn't it? How did she get to know him... They were talking about cars and Gillian's dad was laughing real loud... No offence! Its just amazing... I was shocked! I just can't believe it...
Yes!! Our school team is through to the finals! After we beat gan Eng Seng 5-0 both senior and Junior! Oh yeah, we rock!
I played doubles with Athena. We beat them 15-8, 15-2. We were a bit careless at first... But we still won! I kept taking all the shots though... Oops... I am still very sorry that i hit Athena somewhere near her shoulder and neck accidentally...
I line judged the Raffles vs. CHIJ match. I only line judged the first set because at the second set i had to get ready for my doubles match. It turned out that the junior team for raffles lost to CHIJ so we will be playing against them for the finals. I hope we can win. Anyway we are going to the NATIONALS!
We're going to go against Gan eng seng on Wednesday! Mrs Wong says I will be playing doubles with Athena and she is not exactly the best player(no offense)... Well i'm not really the best either. That makes it worst! We're in the semi-finals already. If we lose(touch wood!), i hope the other games they will all win. I don't know how good gan eng seng is but i still need the luck... I'm so scared!
Yep, for our second match we went against Cedar. I was going to play doubles with Carolyn. We were the first doubles. Which means the second match for the day. I can't remember who played first singles... Anyway, when Carolyn and I played, we won 15-3 and 15-4. Carolyn was usually in front so she kept taking most of the shots since the Cedar girls were so weak! I only got the shot a few times. One time, Carolyn accidentally hit the shuttlecock through the Umpire's hair! We were laughing about that after the match. In the end out school won 5-0! Victory again!
I line judged for the raffles vs. Townsiville match. Raffles doesn't seem that good actually. I think we can beat them when we play against them! Mrs Lim says she will treat us i don't know when but she said she will...
I left class at 12.30! Why? Because I was going to experience the first badminton competition of my life! I had meepok for lunch and bought 100 plus for energy! We went to Hougang stadium. When we got there we had to warm up and then stroke amongst ourselves. At one time, we were pretending to play lousily so that CHIJ(the team we were going against for the juniors) would think we were lousy. Joellyn and I were playing doubles. I saw Pei Ting there too! When the competitions began we cheered loudly for our teammates. Finally, it was our turn. We played the first set which took 9 minutes. At one point of the first set, i missed 2 shots totally. In the end we won the first set 15-9. We changed courts at the 2nd set and it took 10 minutes this time. Nothing bad happened so i was lucky. We won again 15-9. In the end both senior and Junior team won 5-0! Woohoo! We line judged too. When you line judge, you decide whether the shuttle is in or out. It was really boring. I kept stretching and yawning. At least we got to sit on chairs.
So school reopened a few weeks ago but who cares. I'm in 5G and i got Ms Kwok as my english teacher. You SCGS people probably think that I ame really unlucky but it really is not that bad. I got a new teacher called Ms Ang as my form teacher. She doesn't scold us and thats good!. The thing is that i became monitress again! This is my thrid year! I was one in P2 and in P4... Now its this year! Wow... I think i know who's who now at least... Ah well. Tomorrow i'm having a badminton competition!!! My first time ever!!! AH! I'm so scared... I should really be sleeping now actually... I hope my t-shirt's dry...
