Date ; Monday, December 26, 2005 Time ; 1:20 PM Title ; A Christmas BBQ MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! As a special tribute to Christmas, This post is going to be in red and green. But let me just get on with the blog. Nothing much happened on christmas afternoon I guess. Just went to Wheelock Place and ate lunch at NYDC. We went to borders but we didn't buy anything. So what i'm basically going to talk about is the Barbeque dinner. Let me begin. So the barbeque. We didn't come early, we didn't come on time. Just a teeny bit late. We brought ice and as we looked around the barbeque, we realised something. We hardly knew anybody! So we just ate and talked among ourselves. Then Aunty Angie's daughters came. So we sort of talked to one of them. So after a while of boredom, I ran upstairs and brought down a pack of cards because my dear Biggest sister, Did NOT want to play Cluedo with us although she said she would. So the four of us, biggest sister, Monica and aunty angie's daughter, played snap. That was REALLY fun. Half way through, Aunty Jenifer's daughter joined. We were doing letter, and animal actions. Then aunty angie's daughter got tired(It's a very exhausting game) and she let her god brother take her place. I must say, i'm pretty good at this game! We were doing animal sounds and then we did musical instruments and topics. After we gave up on thinking of a topic, we played Bluff. My biggest sister finished first. Then Matthew then Monica. The game never really ended. Because whatever cards I didn't have, Yi Yuan had. So then we got a drink and we played Cluedo. For the first round, a never before happened between us happened. Nobody won. So we went on to the next round. This time, the assumer(Monica) won. Because she assumed. So we didn't feel like playing anymore. So we sat down with the grown ups for a while and then we went home. It was a fun barbeque I guess. My mother says that Yi Yuan isn't so shy anymore. Oh, the gummies that we gave to Aunty Jenifer, ended up in the teenage guys mouths. Guys SUCK!!! |
